MORNINGThe perfect way to start the day with some fresh air, a lot of trees and pure nature, you can go to walk to Chipinque Eco Park. This place is a natural park that we have being a part of the Sierra Madre Oriental, where you can go to hiking, enjoy the nature and a beautiful Monterrey City view. |
AFTERNOONA good way to get the feel of traditional Mexico is to visit Paseo Santa Lucia at the center of Monterrey. This is an artificial river that have beautiful places, stores, and restaurant with tipical mexican food, and you can se the mexican families whose go to walk and have fun. You can go for all the river by walking or in a little boat that you can take at the beginning or the end of the river. At the end of this there is the Fundidora Park where you can rent bikes and skates to play with. Also you can find and icerink and the Horno 3 Museum, where you can see an explanation of the beginning of Monterrey. |
EVENINGIf you want to finish your day by experiencing the nightlife of Monterrey, visit the Main Entrance at Plaza Fiesta San Agustin. Over here you can find a different kind of restaurants, pub bars, wine bars and night clubs. |
DID YOU KNOW ?Grutas de García y Grutas de BustamanteCaverns are only found in a few places in the world, and in Monterrey there are two big ones to explore: Grutas de Bustamante and Grutas de García, which has huge, fantastically shaped natural formations. Monarch Butterfly SanctuaryIn September, the monarch butterflies come to the area. If you're here then don't miss the arrival of these beautiful insects to the Cumbres, Monterrey's national park. They stay here to enjoy the good weather, then go on to Michoacan, Mexico city. They return in February and March. |
