The staff operate as a great team to ensure a productive, enjoyable stay. While I prefer a bigger fitness center, the hotel has upgraded some equipment since my last stay, and the sauna and whirlpool were a great relief after several long flights.

The staff were exceptionally helpful, our security and safety was their primary concern on May 31. The manager of the desk offered to go to the market for me to purchase a sisal purse if I tryly wanted one, as oppoased to me leaving the coumpound.
Fabulous staff who should be commended.

Bed comfortable, great location. But the hotel is dated as its 50 years old and needs serious refurbishing. No seperate shower. Did not have a disposable shaver. Breakfast was adequate. Too expensive for the old property. TV is still a box TV and very small.

Stay was great, rooms are fine and staff are helpful and friendly.
Hotel main restaurant food quality was perhaps a bit down and the service levels in the main restaurant are not as good as it used to be. Waited long for waiters to respond to requests. Perhaps need more waiters in the restaurant.

Customer service is NO1. Please continue to keep the kind of staff. I have never met a staff so great. Even the guards have a smile for your. They are all friendly and are ready and willing to assist at all times. Bravo! They deserve good pay.

Everything is more than i expect from a Nairobi Hotel. But staff is really wonderfull. Helpful, solve the problems fastly.
I have only one "clear" problem about the hotel is the car doors. Please make it oil. Because of the voice of it, i couldnt sleep.
Rest, everything was nice !

MOst non understanding staff member. they do not want to help the customers in case they need any help. I was late in presenting the discount coupon by one day they did not consider the request , what they use to do previously. during my previous visits also they have helped me butthis time they did not do anything.

Nairobi offered good value - a haven of comfort and friendliness in amidst the hurly burly of busy city. Staff friendly and attentive. Rooms, beds comfortable, well stocked, free mineral water - very useful for overseas visitor. Rooms look a little dated by European standards but are infact well equipped. Internet easy to access (on 6th business floor, so not sure elsewhere). Exec' lounge staff lovely and services great.

I have slept at many IHG Hotels but the star treatment I got at the Nairobi Intercontinental was world class and clearly not stage managed, unlike the rubbish service I got at the Crowne Plaza, Rosebank, Johannesburg.
Your staff were very well-mannered and friendly, & executed their duties quite professionally, and this no doubt complimented the heavy security checks at the entrance.
I only wished I had stayed for much longer to take full advantage of all the offerings; however my FREE cocktail lacked the befitting lustre. ..but I will most definitely be coming back & most likely with family.
Keep up the good work.

The hotel is aged and is showing it,
The breafast is good however you leave the restaurant smelling of a fried breakfast , so I imagine the ventilation system is deficient.
The partial reparations ie painting of corridores perhaps should be done when guests are not present

Our Family visit to this hotel was made unforgettable by the warm and caring attitude of all the staff we met. Concierge set up our reservation and transport to Carnivore Restaurant upon arrival. While we did not use many facilities during our stay every staff member smiled and was courteous, professional and extremely helpful from the cleaners, drivers, front desk, reservations, concierge, even the security staff though busy and doing a difficult job are professional and truly warm. Hats off, the Hotel is clean and staff are excellent.

I was en route from Amsterdam to Kisumu, arriving 8:25 p.m. NBO and departing 10:20 a.m. the next day to Kisumu. Because of my IHG affiliation, I searched for/found this wonderfully appointed and staffed property quite close to the Jomo Kenyatta Airport. The staff was friendly, the appointments first class, breakfast an elaborate spread. Features I didn't have time to enjoy are the pool, the shops, the Club Lounge, and some other coupon-amenities that come with IHG membership.
Looks like I'll be back again in December 2014!

The hotel staff is really friendly and they tried to assist as much as possible. The hotel is reasonably priced compared to other hotels in Africa. The availability of management is great and they will attend promptly to any requests.
