Long history
According to historical records, the city of Nanjing began in the Spring and Autumn Period. Before more than 2,000 of the Three Kingdoms, Nanjing are known as Sun Wu. Since then, Nanjing has become the important capital of Chinese history which is a valuable historical and cultural city.
The symbol of the City
Bixie is the most representative symbol of Nanjing .The celestial stone animals in front of emperors’ tomb are called Bixie, means counteract evil force, symbolizes the position and the personality of the city which is simple and honest.
The flower of the City
The Plum Blossom is the city flower of Nanjing.Plum flower blooms annually in the earliest season, confronts frost and snow, always symbolizes elegant style, strong will, and noble thoughts.

Confucius temple
The Confucius Temple is located in the the Qinhuai north shore of Gongyuan roadside. Confucius Temple has stone brick wall for the screen wall with a total length of 110 meters, 20 meters high, which is the largest Zhaobi in the country.
Zhong Shan Tomb
Zhong Shan Tomb, the tomb of Sunzhong shan, the forerunner of Chinese democratic revolution, located in the eastern suburbs of Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, near the Purple Mountain and Xiaoling Tomb. Construction in January 1926, when in 1961 it was as a national key cultural relics protection units.
Local food
The most famous food in Nangjing such as Osmanthus duck,Xiao long bao,Duck blood soup ,Spiced beans and spiced eggs.You can taste it in Confucius temple or Hunan road.
Youth Olympic2014
February 10, 2010 Olympic Committee in Vancouver, decided to grant the 2014 Summer Youth Olympic Games host city of Nanjing in China.The Games aims to gather all of the world-wide talented young athletes, additionally, it should become an educational project in the Olympic spirit, so that young people from the movement harvest a healthy lifestyle.
