MORNING

Start your day with a champagne breakfast and enjoy a tranquil, relaxing beachside Cabana massage from Spa InterContinental. Feeling refreshed, don your snorkeling gear and explore the clear waters of Natadola bay on a Snorkel Safari. Dry off, collect your packed lunch from Concierge and head to Kula Eco Park. Picnic under a rain tree canopy and enjoy the fauna and flora of Fiji's only environmental sanctuary.

AFTERNOON

Spend the afternoon shopping at Sigatoka's iconic locations. The Sigatoka markets are vibrant with the flavours of Fiji, Pacific Green's palm wood furniture display room, and lastly Nakabuta Pottery Village, where village women mould traditional clay pottery before your eyes. As the sun sets on the perfect day in paradise, sip cocktails at Kama Lounge and enjoy the ritual torch-lighting ceremony. Be entertained by serenaders, dancers and acoustic ensembles with local flair before dinner.

An elegant Cabana Dinner under the stars awaits you. Indulge in the exquisite 'Taste of Fiji' menu served by your personal waiter and sip champagne as waves roll against the shores of Natadola Bay. Your perfect day in paradise concludes with a Cleopatra bathing ritual infused with aromatherapy blends in the comfort of your own balcony. LOCAL CULTURE

Village Protocol

Hats and sunglasses are not worn in a village, shoes are not worn inside, women and men must cover knees and shoulders and it is impolite to sit with legs stretched out. Avoid touching a Fijian’s head. Offering ‘sevusevu’ (gift) of kava is customary, which you will drink with villagers on arrival.


Tipping

While tipping is not encouraged, it is generally accepted. Should you wish to render a tip, we’d appreciate you charging this to you room account as we evenly distribute these amongst all resort service staff on a quarterly basis.

Money

The local currency is the Fiji dollar ($). It is good to have a few options for accessing money- bring a credit card, debit card, some traveler's cheques and a small amount of foreign currency to exchange at any major bank. There is also an ATM at the resort.


Healthcare & Medical

Fiji has private doctors, as well as standard hospital and laboratory facilities. Private dentists, opticians and pharmacies are also available. Please note that your preferred medications may not be available in Fiji so we recommend bringing any medication you might need with you.

Beachwear

As Fiji has a tropical climate we recommended you pack light cotton garments, sun screen, hats, sunglasses, comfortable walking or reef shoes and a Tote bag to make carrying these important items easy.
