Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed! From the minute we arrived we had problems I had been making the booking for months back & forth & when I arrived I was told the room that was booked was a king room not the twin room I had booked so we then had to sit with our 3yr old waiting for them to find us the correct room as you can imagine we were very tired & frustrated. The shower in our room also was broken & was not fixed! The first night we went to dinner in the bar near the pool my entire stay I was never offered a drink I had to constantly go to the bar myself. Also just asking for water for the table, one night I waited 1 1/2hrs just for a glass of water. Another night I asked for a drink at 9:15pm & I was told the bar was closed I was very disappointed as we had not even finished our meal. The first night we ordered bread as a starter & we waited 55 mins for it to arrive. We had attended your resort for the wedding of my brother in law & as this was a very special occasion we felt very upset with the overall experience. The only service I can say that was fantastic was the service from Milly our Nanny she was fantastic she was always on time & was an absolute treasure to work with. 12 November 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great service, warm staff - Good times! Loved the stunning location and beach. Service was terrific - the Fijians are so warm and caring. The room was comfortable however the bathrooms are showing signs of wear and tear and could do with an upgrade. The food and variety were terrific and we loved the daily fire ceremony and the entertainment from local Fijians. 11 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent service Thanks for a memorable experience at Intercontinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa. I stayed at the resort for business and what a pleasure is was to stay at your resort. Vara was an exceptional host - a wealth of knowledge and a lovely personality. I enjoyed every aspect of the resort - dining, facilities, ambiance, room style and inclusions - outstanding! I cannot wait to come back with my partner to show him how wonderful the Intercontinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa is. 11 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful view and friendly people The Garden room view was a fantastic view of the ocean, up on a hill and nearly unobstructed to see the beach. The food was great, though a touch expensive. I'm not surprised with many things having to be imported to Fiji. The one downside was the beds and pillows were not very comfortable. I noticed the same type mattress and pillows in a Sydney Intercontinental, so this may be common in this part of the world. The beach was fantastic and though not a private beach for the hotel, was primarily used only by hotel guests. There were locals offering massages and other things, but if you weren't interested, they didn't continue to try and make a sale. Overall, you can't beat the location. 10 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Absolute paradise The setting of the resort is beautiful, on one of Fiji's best beaches, and away from all of the hussle and bussle. The grounds are spread out, so you don't feel crowded in - perfect space. The food is also worthy of mention - everything is very fresh, and the variety is amazing. This is truly a place to sit back, relax, and enjoy Fiji! 10 November 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great location and facilities The location was great at Natadola and the resort facilities were very good. All meal facilities were there at your request and several bars and restaurants to choose from. The rooms were really large and comfortable with all facilities available. Having two pools, one for adults and one for children was very good. 10 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Resort, Great Golf Course and Great Staff This is our fifth trip to to this wonderful resort and like a good bottle of wine the more mature the better the experience. After six days saying farewell was tough. The staff, management, golf course and facilities were first class. The rooms and bed extremely comfortable and the food, particularly breakfast, something to really look forward to. The international standard golf course was challenging to say the least, but after four days the thrill of playing each and every hole remained. The staff at the golf course like the staff at the resort were friendly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. I can't wait to return next year for our private "golf invitational". 05 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome experience, will be back soon! Great Resort, what a fantastic location. Such friendly and accommodating staff, an extremely relaxing time. The kids had a ball. Will be sure to return in the near future! 04 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Slippery/ dangerous paths This occured on Saturday 25th October, while casually walking from our room to the Sana Sana Restuarant. It had been raining. I was upright one minute and on my back in the garden the next. Someone came along to help me up, and also slipped over. I heard of 5 people slipping over that day, and I'm only grateful that no one was seriously hurt, as it's along way from home. I hope this can be looked into and rectified. 03 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay at Intercontinental Fiji We recently had a 5 night stay in a One-Bedroom Club room with Plunge pool. The room was extremely spacious and easily catered for three adults. The amentities in the room catered for everything we needed. The Club Intercontinental facilities were amazing. Inclusions such as daily high tea and cocktail hour were a great addition. The Club pool area was fantastic and a great place to relax. Service in every area was top class. 03 November 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Inconsistancies I was there with a Conference and my workmates stayed in the same sort of room, but got different service. They got shell necklaces laid out on the beds and kits with sewing kits and shavers etc. Our room never received these. Our bathrobes were too huge to wear, I am 1.7m and the sleeves hung way down past my hands and was far too long. As I did not take a robe, I found these a struggle. The room itself was lovely. Internet was a nightmare IHG did not work. Unfortunately the noise level from across the path was not good as they had a crying very small baby. 02 November 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Overpriced Some expensive hotels are worth the money and some aren't. Unfortunately, this hotel is not worth the price tag. Let's start with the things that are good: the beach and the food. The beach usually has a small break, great for surfing, paddle boarding and kayaking, and is great for kids to play in. The food is also really nice. Everything is really fresh and tasty, but you would expect no less. Now for the shortcomings: the rooms and accommodating kids. Our room was fairly underwhelming for the price we paid. It had some nice features, like an outdoor bath and spacious bathroom, but overall the room was quite small. The beds were also quite small. Their version of a double bed is not really a double bed. This hotel is not particularly child-friendly. The only play equipment they have is locked behind the "kids club" doors, meaning they need to be in kids club to use it. If they are under 4 years old, the only way they can be in kids club is with a hired nanny. Same deal to access the ping pong table, video games etc. If it's raining, you are going to struggle to find things to do with your kids. Overall, the Intercontinental is a nice enough hotel, but for the price falls short in too many ways. There are other 5-star resort on the Coral Coast that are arguably much nicer and easier on the wallet. 02 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stunning Resort Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived to the minute we left.. Great place to have fun and relax. The Drinks, Food, People and the Service 10 out of 10. We will be back to this beautiful resort. 01 November 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Relaxing holiday with lots of activity We stayed here to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday with our children. The stay with Intercontinental met each family member's objectives. There was surfing, snorkeling and kids club for my sons, relaxing poolside for my wife, scuba and surfing for me. The degustation meal with matching wines for my wife's special birthday dinner at Navo was a highlight. Visiting the local village and experiencing traditional life was a highlight for my sons. The strong bond between the Intercontinental and the local village is evident and has created a sustainable relationship. 22 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Our amazing wedding and incredible holiday! We were lucky enough to hold our wedding at the Intercontinental Fiji on the 17th October. From the day we arrived, we were blown away by the most incredibly welcoming and loveable staff we have ever met! We were so fortunate to be upgraded to a beachfront room and we could not recommend that room highly enough! It was the most beautiful room with an incredible walk out patio which had a day bed and seating, as well as the most beautiful Cleopatra bath! Then further out we had our very own two sun loungers before you stepped onto the grass just before the beach. We could hear the ocean from our bed at night and it made for the most relaxing sleeps ever! We were honestly treated like royalty from day one, and even though our wedding was only a very small group, we felt so valued by the entire resort! Our wedding planner Ema is the most amazing human alive, and created a wedding which blew our minds and exceeded our wildest expectations! We honestly cannot recommend the Intercontinental Fiji enough for holidaying and without a doubt, if you want the most amazing wedding ever! Our family was open-mouthed blown away after the wedding and cannot stop raving about it! We cannot all wait until we are able to return, we are definitely missing Fiji time already!! Things we would definitely recommend – the raspberry mojito’s, the private cabana dinner at Navo, beachfront room and the nomaudru couple’s treatment at the Spa. We only visited the Spa on our last day and wish we had done it earlier, as we would have been there every day! 21 October 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best family holiday We had an absolute ball at the Intercontinental in Fiji in October 2014. It is in the most magical location on a beach that offers snorkelling, boogie boarding and surfing all in one day. We visited with two other families and between us our four children aged 5-10 had the most wonderful time. The staff were amazing with the kids and big kids too, the kids loved kids club, which is a first for us. The staff were so very friendly and kind and always greeted you with a genuine smile on their face. You could tell they were happy! The food was also so much better than I expected. We joined the Ambassador Club and were thrilled to get two upgrades during our stay, we have never been part of a club where you instantly get rewarded. It has certainly made us think about what Intercontinental we can go to next. We cannot recommend the place highly enough. If I was to find one fault and this was very very very hard to do, I would say the pillows were too soft! If you have kids and want a relaxing indulgent and carefree holiday then this place is a must! Thanks so much for our wonderful holiday. We can't wait to come back. The Pooles 18 October 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Property We just got back from Fiji a couple of days ago where we spent three nights at your resort. The way this resort was designed is beautiful and functional. The entire property and the setting is just wonderful. Few things got my attention as less than perfect especially for a five star resort. Example one is the fact that every time we used the shower, the water streamed out of the door. We had to put extra towels in front of the door so that the water won't run all over the bathroom area, and to prevent us from slipping. Second- We had a towel that had two tears in it!!! Third- When serving a cocktail at the bar, a napkin never accompanied the drink, therefore you either have to use what you're wearing to catch the drip or use the chair cushions...neither choice is good!. Fourth- the landscaping is certainly beautiful, but not maintained well. I even told one of the gardeners that the trees by the adults pool are sick with White Flies. So my conclusion is that this is perhaps a five star property Fijian standard not US standard. The staff was amazingly friendly, courteous and professional. The food was okay, but I would not grade it as gourmet. Certainly the prices you charge is for gourmet food! I would still recommend this property because from what I have seen and was told, it is the only property on a natural beach, and this beach is the best. Well, I did not think the beach is the best because of all the seaweed, and perhaps that's why you don't see many people swimming in the water in front of the resort. We did enjoy the entertainment the hotel provided every night, but it was almost the same, or was repeated every other day. Since the resort is away from anything else such as restaurants ,shopping or any other forms of entertainment, one does not have any other choices but to stay and watch what the resort has to offer. We have stayed at an Intercontinental property here in the US, specifically in Hawaii and thought it was a better managed property. Can't say enough though how impressed we were with the friendliness of the Fijian people and staff. 16 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location and wonderful service. Loved everything about this hotel, from the location, the privacy, the service and the wonderful staff. What a beautiful hotel and wonderful ambience. Nothing was too much trouble. Loved the bathtub on the balcony, we used it and felt confident about the privacy. I would definitely stay there again. Also loved the duo singing by the pool - Aretha Franklin eat your heart out! 16 October 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Hotel Terrible Dining My wife and I traveled for our honeymoon. We were blown away by the beauty of the property and the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. The room seemed a bit dated for a newer hotel but the view was great and the furnishings comfortable. Now for the bad, the food at this property is terrible. Like awful. If I wanted cold fries and overcooked fish I could have stayed in the US and gone to a cheap chain restaurant. I appreciate good food and am willing to pay premium prices for good food but that is not to be found here. There isn’t much around so unless you have a car you are eating resort food. The only exception was Navo, while expensive, our meal was excellent. My other major complaint was the Sagitoka market trip. For $30FD per person you get to go on a “Market Tour” to the “Saladbowl of Fiji”. Sounds great right? Except the problem is they dump you in front of a tourist trap souvenir shop on a main street. When I hear market trip and saladbowl I’m thinking fruit stands and the like. Maybe I had unreasonable expectations, but I could get the same tourist junk at the airport cheaper. Overall we had a great time, but I would probably stay in a more populated area next time. I was very disappointed in the fish and fresh food options at the resort, what’s the point of going to a tropical island without fresh fish? Being in a remote location is beautiful, but severely limits your dining and excursion options. 16 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Paradise in Fiji We received an upgrade to the club lounge which was impressive and Alfredi was really helpful. The private pool and view of the ocean was outstanding. Staff were friendly, however, getting around on buggies was tiresome at times (otherwise it's a 15min walk across the resort in sweltering heat) Highly recommended it. Fiji prices are not cheap though 15 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect Location, Very Friendly Staff, Amazing Facilities From the time I stepped out of my transfer bus to the moment I stepped back on it to head back to the airport, my experience and memories with staff and facilities and location were amazing and at the same time surprise and delight moments. An example, as being recognised as an IHG member, throughout my stay. I will be returning. Vinaka Levu! 15 October 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Recommended resort in Fiji Even the InterCon Fiji resort might not be the superiors among InterCon Hotels, comparing to other facilities in Fiji it's one of best for leisure staying. Private beaches, lots of water sports 15 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by In desperate need of a holiday In desperate need of a holiday and this place didn't disappoint! We loved the holiday, the recreation facilities were great, the food was fantastic and the people and service were lovely. Its not the cheapest place to holiday, but i'm sure it's not the most expensive either. It would be nice for the kids club to look more inviting for kids when they turn up. The room is pretty sparse, and a few toys lying about might make it a bit more appealing for cautious kids, but the kids liked it once they settled in. We will definitely go back. 15 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Place Club is just fantastic in every respect: staff, food environment and facilities. View is out of this world. Resort in gerneral has a relaxed and spaceous feel - not overcrowded even at busy times. Beach and watersports offer plenty to do which is a bonus for Fiji. 15 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location We loved the room 1113 and the waterfront position on the ground floor Spectacular Thanks 14 October 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 general overview Great location, well setup. unfortunately we had to wait over an hour for our room at 3pm. The rooms were very good with comfortable bedding, clean and spacious bathroom facilities and a fantastic housekeeper named Tadoka. Had great service throughout our stay especially from Saulua in the bar area. Unfortunately the fantastic family pool area was let down by some furniture that need replacing. But overall the resort sets a high standard in quality and service. We were also given late checkout which was appreciated. 14 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Happy honeymoon at intercontinental FIJI I visited InterContinental FIJI for honeymoon. My wife and I very satisfied with room and many other facilities.
