Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst Hotel I have ever stayed at Worst service.....Sat by the pool all day and lucky if you were asked once if you needed anything....ordered a meal by the pool and only half arrived ...waited 10 minutes for the other half.....no one is genuinely friendly....Even bula greeting seemed exhausting... 26 January 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Another amazing stay Just returned from my 3rd stay at the Fiji Intercontinental, and it was just as amazing as my first time. Love everything about this place. The rooms are so spacious and comfortable, and I spent hours on my huge balcony just reading and taking in the views. I loved my food experiences, looked forward to breakfast every morning and also dinner each night at either Toba or Sanasana. There is so much to do if you wish, my fave is visiting the local village Sanasana, I've done that 3 times now. And also so many ways to do nothing, relax by the beautiful infinity pool, rest in a cabana on the beachfront, chill out in Karma lounge, or just walk around the stunning resort. The Spa is fantastic, luxurious and well worth it. Staff are wonderful, I recieved many welcome back hugs. I'll be back before too long, it's my Happy Place :) 26 January 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by 1 BR Plunge Pool Club Suite Stayed in a 1 BR Plunge pool club suite. Room was on a hill overlooking the ocean and property. Suite has an outdoor bath and small pool whilst a generous interior living and bedroom. Housekeeping did a relatively ok job of cleaning the rooms, but always fail to replenish the towels for the outside bath. Took part in plenty of activities resort offered through its concierge. Bitterly disappointed with water safari as boat we chartered for fishing broke down and no refund or compensation was offered, also no fish caught. Corals in the resort is quite bleached, a big disappointment for the snorkeling. Property restaurants are abundant for variety. Nova was a the fine dining but portions was very small. I had to order 2 of the same lobster main on top of entrée to be full. Buggy service is frequent but difficult to call as no hand phone provided to club guest to have a direct line to clubhouse to call for buggy or concierge. Resort has its own beach, but becareful of locals walking up trying to make a quick buck. I would recommend not to stay in the beachfront houses due to this reason. Overall experience was alright, but lots of improvement can still be done. 24 January 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very disappointing experience. I must say that my experience at this resort with my family was one which was forgettable. Unfriendly staff is an understatement. I have travelled the world with my Family and Business and have stayed at 5 to 7 star hotels, but the stay at Intercontinental was one which I would like to forget very quickly. I believe that the staff here give a level of service on the way someone looks and does not give the same service to all who stay at this resort. I was disgusted that on arrival we were not given welcome drinks,like what is given to other guest, we had to take our bags out of our vehicle ourselves not like other guests. I was travelling with my wife and 3 young children and a little bit of assistance would have gone a long way. For what this resort markets itself like it falls way behind what it promises to deliver. We had 2 rooms and on arrival was advised that only one room was available at the time of Check in which we arrived 1 hour after the normal check in time. The Staff here assumed that I might have been a local and therefore the level of service dropped considerably to other Australian Guest. Luckily my wife is a Caucasian lady otherwise I would have had no chance of getting any service at all. The Resort has a lot to answer for. On checkout there was 3 concierge staff that watched me load my luggage into our hire vehicle myself. I approached these staff and there comments were that they were busy, but as another guests vehicle arrived they were quick to service them. I took this up with these staff and I was very upset and all they could say was to back chat me by saying " calm down and dont talk to us" These staff should be sacked. It is a disgrace and my family and I will never return to this resort again. For a so called 5 star Resort the Intercontinental Fiji falls way behind in service compared to other 5 start Resorts around the globe and in Fiji. 14 January 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable Stay Rooms are well appointed, fairly clean, beds and pillows are comfortable but most importantly you can get a good nights sleep as it is well insulated and quite. The beach is clean, the water clear allowing kids to safely play in the water. Fine dining restaurant Navo does not live up to expectations, the front office managers are great and extremely accommodating and helpful. We will return very soon. 13 January 2015
