Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by comfortable room with some problems The bed is very comfortable. But the room is small. Water is leaking to the bathroom when I was taking a shower. The towel quality is bad and even have stains. There are only a few TV channels. The check-in/out process is not efficient.... disappointed about my first stay with Intercontinental 20 July 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible costumer service I booked the hotel for 3 nights. Checking in on the 5th of July The first night the room smelled really bad. A representative came to check... The drain in the bathroom was clogged which was causing the smell. He sprayed the room and said an engineer would Check it. They changed our room and told us the first night would be complementary . The room we were shifted to was a much smaller one. We checked out on the 8th. On checking my credit card the night was still charged. Called and spoke to a manager who said that he would check and someone will get back to me on that matter the following day. It's been a week and I am still waiting for that call. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A welcomed relief The service in particular at this hotel was great. The rooms were very clean and lovely and we felt the hotel was in a perfect position. The food at the restaurant was great also. We had stayed at 5 hotels on our trip throughout the USA and this one was in the top two and the best one I have stayed at in Time square value for money and friendliness. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. 18 July 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Made up for it I had a somewhat disappointing stay the last time I was at the Intercontinental. This trip more than made up for it. I was treated like a queen, along with a complimentary cheese plate and wine. I was upgraded to a beautiful room on the 30th floor. Thank you for listening and making me feel very comfortable for my business trip! Will be back in 2 weeks! PS - I did sign up for early check out but, they gave my room away before 2pm. It was fine, because I had taken my bag and checked it downstairs (thankfully). I went to check out around 1:30 or so, but the room was already given to another person. It didn't ruin my trip...just wanted to let you know in case something slipped through the cracks somehow. Thank you! 18 July 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Class in The City The InterContinental New York Times Square is an upscale hotel centrally located. The hotel seems to have been recently remodeled with modern rooms and bathrooms. Being in such a congested area, I was surprised how quiet the room was. The hotel is right next to mass transit and is within walking distance of shopping and Broadway. 18 July 2014
