Very good location, and good bar to hang out in the evening. My wife left her bracelet, and we called and they were able to find it. We recommend this hotel to everyone, including the family. 07 April 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome Hotel, Awesome Spot, Awesome Restaurant By far and away the best hotel I have stayed at in NYC. Better than the Waldorf, better than the Marriott. Maybe it was the room upgrade or the late checkout allowed by my membership. Maybe it was the awesome hotel bar/restaurant (watch out for red bull vodka, those'll drain your wallet in a hurry). I will be back for a corner room next time. Plus parking was valeted for $55 per night. This a deal in the city. 05 April 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Staff Want to thank everyone for their hospitality. My only complaint was a feathered pillow was left in the closet which could have caused me issues as I am allergic. We requested prior to our arrival to have all down and goosefeather pillows and comforters removed from the room. Also, the extra pillows were not there. Otherwise, a nice stay. Ours was a complicated booking involving several rooms, changes to the reservation, and then adding more rooms again. They stuck with us all the way through. Given the lack of service I've experienced from other Times Square area hotels that don't care to be bothered with large parties (because they know the rooms sell out anyway and they just don't give a...) I must say I was thrilled to find a hotel team willing and able to accomodate our overseas film crew's needs. 02 April 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful hotel in a central location My husband and I stayed at the Intercontinental Times Square last weekend. We selected the hotel based upon previous stays at other Intercontinental hotels, the reasonable rate, and the location close to theaters. What a great choice! This location is perfect. We went to dinner and the theatre Saturday and Sunday walked up to Central Park. In addition the subway is right next to the hotel so getting around the city is easy if you wanted to go downtown or elsewhere. The room was comfortable and very nicely appointed. The bathroom was beautifully done with a large walk in shower. Even though the location is right on 8th avenue and we were on the 3rd floor THERE WAS NO STREET NOISE. I was amazed! When we noticed that we needed more in room coffee packets we called housekeeping and they were delivered quickly. Front desk staff very courteous. Another thing I liked about this hotel was it's spacious feel. Sometimes Manhattan hotels can feel very small. Hallways and elevator areas were spacious. Elevators were fast and there were plenty of them. Also restaurant bar was great!!! Definitely recommend and will stay again. 30 March 2013

When I arrived because they are so accomodating they had given my room away to another guest but upgraded me asubstantially. I had the most comfortable rest and soothing shower than I've had a long time when it comes to a hotel. I toatlly reccomend the Time Square location, the higher floors especialy the Penthouse Suite have awsome views yet quite peaceful being in the center of a lot of action. My priority rewards were honored and applied with no problem at all. 29 March 2013

Rachel from concierge as always was very helpful. I look forward to coming back again and again as a Royal Ambassador. The bed was very comfortable and, as Ambassadors, we were upgraded to a corner room on a higher floor so we enjoyed a great view. I was surprised to find there was no Club Level which I never experienced at any other Intercontinental Hotel. 16 March 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Amazing Location, Immaculate and Genuine! We're pretty well travelled and stayed in Intercon's before and this one definitely didn't disappoint. On arrival the rooms bed configuration wasn't what we were expecting, yet we were promptly upgraded to an amazing room by the gentleman on reception, which was a nice surprise and far outweighed any expectation we had! The location was perfect, one block from time square yet still in the thick of it, close to subways and on the doorstep of great restaurants and theatres. Hotel staff were professional, courteous and friendly and grateful to help with any need we had. Hotel was immaculate, yet we never once saw a cleaner, so did a great discreet job. Definitely recommend and should we visit New York again we would stay here. 08 March 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best bed and pillows in NYC!! Great food and bar! I have stayed at the Intercontinental Times Square about 30 times in the last 2 years. I am a Marriott member but stay here exclusively when I stay in NYC. The bed and pillows are the most comfortable I have had. The front desk and bell people are incredibly friendly and helpful. Paul at the bar is spectacular and the food is great. Its off the beaten track so not noisy no matter what floor you are on. I would highly recommend this place!!! 07 March 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent room While I was quite pleased with my room and bathroom and was highly disappointed in the service and guest service. The only persons I found to be pleasant were the housekeeping staff and bell boys. Other than that I was truly disappointed, dissatisfied and felt less than an elite member for this group. I was unable to receive resolution or even a compromise with the Priority reward staff which truly was a greater disappointment. If ever in this area again, I hope this isn't my only option for service. 06 March 2013

We initially stayed at another more less costly 4* hotel in Manhattan and then decided to have the last 2 nights on what we thought would be a memorable experience at the Intercontinental. With this in mind, we booked an expensive corner room with skyline view. Unfortunately it turned out to be disappointing and we wish we had taken a different hotel choice. 1. The room decor was old fashioned, not interesting at all for a young couple like us. 2. The highly desired skyline view was not more than a back alley view, where we had a water tank right in front of us. I expected a true New York skyline when I payed for a room with such a skyline view description. 3. Hotel Staff was not helpful at all, when the only response we got back when complaining about the room view was that there was none other available. No solution offered whatsoever. 4. Breakfast was disappointing. From a 5 star hotel, we were expecting a matching breakfast buffet. There was no bufet and instead we got a A La Carte menu, which in the end was scrambled eggs that we ordered and payed 60 USD for it. 5. Not having free internet is something that is not acceptable. Someone on vacations and visiting the city needs to go onto the internet. Planning the day and talking with family is something we need to do and the hotel should not charge for internet access. this was very disappointing. There positive points: the room was comfortable and the bed was delightful. The location is very central, which is great. 04 March 2013

The staff was very attentive and professional. The rooms were lovely and very comfortable. We stayed on the 34th floor and really appreciated the view. The Winter rates were very reasonable for this level of 5 star service. We would definitely like to stay at this wonderful hotel again! 02 March 2013

We usually stay at the Crowne Plaza on Broadway but decided to give this a try since it was closer to the the theaters we were going to. We were impressed by the quality of the hotel and the accomodations were first rate. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitiely come back to this hotel in the future. 01 March 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Location Excellent location. I have stayed at this hotel before in NY as well as others. Now I just stay here. The rates are very good and the location is outstanding. Rachael at the concierge is excellent and very personable (someone should give her a raise). The location is great on the subway and 2 blks down on 9th in the hells kitchen area great local food joints. No extra perks for priority or ambassador but worth it anyway. They may want to consider a few 'extra's" like breakfast for priority. If possible get a studio room. I didn't have a studio this time and the room was much smaller than I am used to. Corner rooms are best on the higher floors for great views. I highly recommend this hotel for manhattan stays!!! 01 March 2013
