Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Staff confused Staff were both confused at check-in and check out, more as I got them off-guard that I was checking in and checking out. They were polite and professional but it seemed I was interrupting their desk conversation. Also, scale in the bathroom is off by 10 pounds. Not sure it makes sense to have a scale any where unless its checked for accuracy. 10 pounds is a lot. 17 August 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Cleanliness and Maintenance We had an issue with the cold water. The faucet did not work on the cold water in the sink. With respect to cleanliness, we found a lot of debris in the room under the desk and behind dressers. We had to access those places for electrical receptacles and just found trash behind them. Finally, the room is wired very wierdly. When you turn out all the lamps to go,to sleep, you also shut off all the power to the electrical outlets. Thus charging your phone or other items became a chore as to how to turn out the lights and yet still charge your electronics. As you go thru your renovation please look at this concern. 14 August 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by One of the few hotels in NY that has quite rooms Stayed at the Interconti last weekend and was quite surprised that they had rooms not facing the street. The only noise I heard was in the afternoon, when they were cleaning out at the next building, but had a very quite night there. I have spent approx. 800 nights over the past 20 years in NY and had noise issues at almost every hotel I stayed at (the Interconti, Conrad and Kitono being the exceptions). If you value a good night sleep, I can certainly recommend the hotel. 11 August 2014
