    Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Smelly room and disinterested staff When I checked in my Ambassador membership was challenged. Rather than following up on my behalf, they told me to call customer service on my cell. No upgrade was offered and the room was a lower specification than booked.The room smelled very unpleasant and staff seemed to have tried to mask these strong smells by use of pungent cleaning chemicals. When informed, reception staff were indifferent but offered another room. They seemed to know there was a problem with this room. Other issues such as decaying food in the fridge left by previous occupants, the sink plug not functioning and the absence of water in the room was raised but, despite assurances, was not rectified that day. All interactions with main and Ambassador reception staff were disappointing - They just really didn't care to be disturbed....Crowne Plaza a few blocks away was much better the next night. 24 November 2014
