The amenities and facilities were outstanding. The staff were extremely polite and knowledgable. An easy recommendation to make to friends and family. 27 February 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Everything Imagined and Beyond Due to our jobs and immediate responsibilities, my partner and I live in different countries and we chose to spend our last days in Kyoto and Osaka and naturally wanted to choose the perfect hotel that was quiet, beautiful, clean, luxurious and location wise next to city center and a major subway/train station. The Intercontinental Osaka was ultimately was our first choice. My partner and I stayed at the Intercontinental Osaka to spend our last 1 night together, not knowing that our experience here would entirely change the way we rate hotels. Totally my fault, but upon check-in, I realized I had mistakenly booked for another date and showed up at the hotel requesting for a room. Despite the rate difference, management was courteous and was kind enough to give us the same rate for the same deluxe room. The moment we walked in, we were mesmerized at the perfection of the room, the view, the immaculate condition and top notch furnishing, lighting, bathrooms, rain shower, Bose speakers both for the TV and a Bluetooth one for your mobile name a few. We only regret we did not have a chance to check out the bars and restaurants as we were staying there for one day, but the facilities and service rendered at the swimming pool, fitness club and spa were beyond our expectations and the only CON I would like to mention is the staff at night time did not speak English very fluently. The hotel is connected to Osaka Station and part of the shopping complex, thus in the most ideal location and very privately located above 20th floor of the Grand Front Osaka. I would like to thank Intercontinental Osaka for allowing us to capture our last moments together in a splendid setting and I can honestly say this in one of the best hotels I have every stayed at. Please keep up the good work and I look forward to visiting and staying only at the Intercontinental Osaka next time I'm in town. Sayonara~ 21 February 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel ~ Highly Recommended ! Being on a road a lot, I would have to say that this was definitely one of the finest hotels I have stayed. Near the Grand-Front Osaka Plaza, which is convenient for shopping. It is a 10 minutes walking distance to Umeda station, which connects to all major JR, MTRs to Kyoto and all major parts of Osaka. While we stayed, we also observe a second railway + station being constructed right next to the hotel ! The room was cleaned the room to perfection. The room and bed were spacious and very comfortable, large screen TV with Dolby surround sound. And since the hotel is located above the 20th floor, means the night-view is great ! The staff was extremely knowledgeable, and worked very hard even during New Years Eve. Would love to stay here again if I do travel to Osaka again ! Highly recommended for all travelers visiting Osaka. 14 February 2014
