Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by special service for meeting rom, great service As I am doing some overseas project, that why some guest came from overseas, they know any countries hotel, but they also said this is wonderfull hotel. From now on we have to have more meeting and start project between Japan and overseas countries, so I will decided whenI have guest from overseas, I choose Inter Continental hotel. Also the staff is so kind and friendly that was also very happy for us, especially my guest arrived very early morning, but we have to start the meeting at 20 floor restraunt private room. So I asked I appreciate if you prepare any room as they want take a shawaer and rest, so the front staff prepared and grade up the room that was much appreciate and impressed. Wewill use your hotel as a base of Osaka from now. Thank you very much for everthying. 13 November 2013

Here it goes: "I wanted to convey my thanks to you and the entire team at Intercontinental Osaka for having arranged a fabulous stay for us. My family loved the stay and everything about your hotel. We have stayed in many hotels all over the world and we can unhesitatingly say that your hotel is one of the best and possibly the best city hotel we have ever stayed in. The hardware - room and everything else was very nice. We were upgraded - thanks a lot for that. We had a fabulous view from the room. The software - service quality was excellent. It was prompt, thoughtful and yet non-intrusive. Right from the reservations to the concierge to the reception and housekeeping - everyone was very good. The new Intercontinental Hotel in the Grand Front area immediately outside the north gate of Osaka Station is a great addition to The Kansai region. It provides first rate rooms and service at very competitive rates in an up and coming area for business, shopping and nightlife. 03 November 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel emptied by extravagant prices This property has a commanding view over the Kita shopping district in Osaka and benefits from squeaky clean and new facilities. The pool and spa area are world-class. There's friendly staff everywhere to help. It's only drawback is the price, which is a notch above comparable hotels in the area. The cost of food and the minibar in the hotel were more suited to New York than Osaka. It's also disappointing the Consierge wasn't able to provide a better map of the area. They have one for the immediate shopping district, but if you want to go further afield you're on your own. 30 October 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Highly recommended Stayed several nights there. Worth every penny of it. One thing I would recommend the staff: need to have a dedicated business center, not just the booth. It was so noisy that we could not be able as a business center at all. Besides that, great hotel. 29 October 2013

Many thanks to Jerome and all the others for taking good care of us. (the somewhat negative reviews on Staff and service one can find right after the hotels opening can truly be attributed to start-up hick-ups.) The service now is exceptional and in line with the best you can find in Intercontinentals. The hotel itself gives a very modern, but still cosy impression. Walking distance to station and all the nice little eateries, two stations away from Osaka Castle. 22 October 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed and great service I had an enjoyable stay at Intercontinental Osaka. I am an Ambassador member so I got an upgrade to a corner club intercontinental suite. The room is tidy and the interior design is great. The view from the window is great too. This is the best hotel I have been staying so far. The breakfast at the 20th floor restaurant is excellent although there is not too many choices of food to choose, but their omelette tastes so good. The most impressive service is I reserved a taxi to go to the airport but the hotel ended up giving me their limo car. Overall the service is excellent and I will definitely stay at this hotel again when I visit Osaka next time 21 October 2013

Since then the level of stuff has getting better. Some people say that new hotel is not good in terms of stuff service. But I think the new and clean room is far more important. 19 October 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I Felt Like Home with InterContinental Osaka, A Very Enjoyable Stay Our family, including my daughter who is 6, enjoyed the stay very much. We travel a lot and like exploring new hotels - InterContinental Made us feel like home. 1) our Club room was very spacious; 2) the design of the room was modern but very comfy, amenities were within easy reach e.g. the see-through cabinet allowed us to spot the whereabout of coffee machine, tea pot and mini bar without the hectic of opening all cabinets & drawers; 3) the toilet used the TOTO system - the seat was warm when I sat on it (Its a warm welcome!) 4) the duvet / blanket was light, soft and comfortable (duvets in hotel are normally quite heavy); 5) I like the ambience & fragrance of the lobby, it has a very pleasant smell ; 6) staff are courteous 7) the location, within the North Tower of Grand Front Osaka, is great! There are many nice shops and restaurants in GFO and is just about 5-8 minute indoor walk to Osaka Station where you can find even more shops and department stores. Of course, there are rooms for improvement - 1) food in Club Lounge was not up to 5-star standard and choices were very limited (in particular for afternoon tea and evening cocktails) though the Lounge itself was an elegantly designed room 2) it would be an extra bonus if there was a small writing area providing a pen inside the toilet (I saw this facility in another international 5-star hotel and was v thoughtful); 3) shampoo provided made our hair very dry 08 October 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice to be back We have been going back to Intercontinental Osaka within just 3 weeks. Not for business, but just simply we love the hotel, so we choose to go back to Osaka. Everything stay perfect as last time, we got to stayed in the same room as last time. The swimming pool and the bath house is a must visit, it was really clean and fully equipped. Especially the bath house is not very big, but very neat. I would definitely go back in a very short time. 25 September 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Experience ever This is property is very new, many of the taxi drivers don't even know where it is. You would have to mention "Grand Front" so they would know the place. The hotel itself is in a very contemporary and modern design. I got upgraded to a 2 Bed Rooms Deluxe Residence, it was very spacious and got a simple kitchen inside. But I really don't really a kitchen when I was in one of the city that is well known for its gourmet. In over all, I was really satisfied and my family and I all have really good experience staying in Intercontinental Hotel Osaka. But one thing i don't like is that, you would have to walk or take taxi to the nearest airport limousine bus. The bus will not come to the hotel to pick you up. 28 August 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Service and staff The hotel build, room and deco was contemporary and artistic,nice. The staff lacked experience in service skills. Disappointing for it being an Intercontinental hotel, not a holiday inn. The checkin reservation was not correct, there was no room service menu apparent in the room, later being told to look on the tv menu, where there was no wine list. Lack of information about the hotel itself in the tv menu, the person who created the contents probably did not think through all customer questions and needs. Breakfast service also showed lack of experience from reception, showing to the table, no greeting or explanation about the breakfast buffet scheme, and was squeezed in between families with noisy kids, when there was room in other places. Being served in sneakers was a first, which I felt the current staff are not professional enough to pull off. I am assuming the aim is to feel like a boutique hotel, but there is a apparent unbalanced feel. Sometimes the staff look timid or scared. Last, the aroma in the halls were a nice touch but a bit strong. It probably is this way since it is newly opened hotel. I am hoping that some of my feedback will be constructive since in the current state I will go back to stay at Ritz Carlton Osaka where the deco is old and far from the station but the service just right. 27 August 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice view and every brand new stuff I stayed for 1 night at here in club floor. It was quite large and clean. I love that bluetooth speaker too. It was high floor so I can see all around osaka. Staff was very kind but they should know more about what they have around hotel. (ex. shops, how to get somewhere I want to go) and it was good to be use club lounge but I think cocktail bar should be open until 10PM. I hope to get there again. 21 August 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful property and wonderful staff Our stay was during a family vacation to celebrate our son leaving for college. Among the fine hotels we stayed at, the Intercontinental Osaka was our favorite. Not only are the rooms beautiful and luxurious, but the staff was welcoming and kind. We were impressed that when we left for Tokyo for a few days, the bags we left behind were already in our new rooms when we came back. Also, the staff pays attention to detail, as the treats left in our rooms each night were customized---we got the more "sophisticated" delicacies and the kids got chocolates and dango. 11 August 2013
