Shuttle Service to Airport

I was shocked to see that Reception told me that the Transfer to Airport by Hotel Taxi cost US$ 20.00 and on Airport I was pushed to pay 35.00 US$, I asked for a Receipt and he refuse to do it.
of Course understand that they want a Tip, but on this way?
Sincerely hope you will engage amore serious Taxi Company and prevent guests from this ugly way of corruption.

un taxi del hotel cobra 400% mas caro que un UBER y los taxis de la calle tambien son muy abusivos, es importante que chequen las tarifas antes y que los concierge te asesoren de este tipo de abusos y que sepan dar las recomendaciones de a donde esta el ambiente segun la categoria de clientes que hospedan

Outdated rooms

I can only review the room as my stay in the hotel was very short (overnight). As an InterContinental Ambassador I was given room upgrade, but it was much worse than what I get when I stay at competition hotels with status similar to Spire Elite. The room was outdated, as well as towels.

Wonderful Staff

It is always very comforting when the bellman remembers you and welcomes you back to the hotel. In additional, the manager came out and greeted me and thanked me for being a Spire Ambassador member. I thought that was a really nice touch. They surprised me with an upgrade to a suite. I could not thank them enough for the attention. I have to mention the staff in the executive lounge as they did their best to make you welcome and comfortable. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and I hope my colleagues will heed my advice to stay at the hotel the next time they are in Panama.

Panama Adventure

We elected to visit Panama and consider it for a retirement destination. We stayed at the Intercontinental Miramar based on the recommendation of a travel agent. We are very glad to have made this choice.

The staff could not have been more courteous, friendly our helpful. First rate from the Lobby to the Bar to the Restaurant, to Housekeeping.

One very special note of thanks to Elodie at the Concierge desk. She went above and beyond to help us find day tours and set them up with English speaking guides (as my Espanol still needs some work). Additionally, after arriving at the airport for our trip back to the USA, my wife discovered she left her cell phone in the room. Elodie personally went to the room and retrieved it; then made shipping arrangements to send the phone to our home. It was barely 24 hours behind us! This was greatly appreciated and just one example of how far this staff goes to ensure your stay in Panama City.

What a beautiful place....
