Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by used to be a lot better Language skills and service from staff should be improved a lot. espcially at the pool area. There was a total lack of service by the pool except from the towel guy who was always fast on his feet. When ordering a coffee and a perrier in the bar in the hotel the perrier never showed up, but on my bill there was a coffee and a coca cola... not a big problem that were correcte straight away. What happend to restocking a minibar during a 5 night stay. at least the coffeee were refilled. 03 March 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Mixed experience (+) Pool area is nice considering the city location. Aesthetician who gave my facial was the nicest staff member at both the hotel and spa. (-) Overall the hotel staff was not too friendly. Hairdryer in my room was broken; used towels were removed each day but not always replaced; mini bar in the room was empty; on morning of departure 4am wakeup call was never received (room did not have a clock) 01 March 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by staff We were locked out of our room upon arrival, with a non functioning door lock, and the people could not have been nicer or more helpful to us. They made us feel welcomed and relaxed while the issue was dealt with in a very professional and timely manner. Also, the concierge was very, very helpful to us, guiding us to restaurants, etc. The front desk staff could not have been any friendlier or nicer. Thank you. 20 February 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not the Greatest... So let me start by saying that the staff was very nice and accommodating. We checked in and I expected an upgrade as the hotel didn’t seem like it was very busy, and I believe we just got the same room that we booked. Alright I understand that is up to what is available at the time and getting an upgrade is not guaranteed. The room was nice and clean, but nothing special. First the fridge that was in the room that was provided was not working properly and didn’t keep anything cold. We called down to request a new one and it was brought in however it too didn’t really do anything. The ice maker was broke, but they were very accommodating and room service would bring up a bucket of ice whenever it was requested. Then on the second day I showered in barely room temperature water, my husband was going to get into the shower and refused because the water was cold, he called the front desk to report the incident, they sent someone up to take a look, and after an hour they said we could change rooms to the room next door however that water wasn’t any warmer. After another 30 minutes I guess the maintenance guy was able to fix it and my husband had hot water for his shower. Alright no huge deal….on top of everything the curtain would close and was nearly broken off the track. By this time we didn’t want to deal with maintenance again just moved the chair to enforce the curtain closing. Maybe I just expect a certain quality from an Intercontinental brand and I feel this hotel didn’t live up to that, it felt like a notch below overall I was very disappointed with this hotel and for the same price could have stayed at a Waldorf. Also it was difficult to spot the hotel at night as it didn’t have their Intercontinental “I” light up at the top of the building which to me seems like they should especially for marketing purposes. 19 February 2015
