Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 The Best in Paris!!!!!!!! From the moment we pulled up, the experience at Le Grand exceed all our high expectations! Everything you could imagine in a hotel was here: incredibly beautiful and historic structure, great location, courteous and professional staff everywhere, beautiful room, amazing air conditioning (crucial for a spoiled American), beautiful room, tons of hot water (!), beautiful furniture, amenities all over (Frette linens!!!), etc. We are experienced travelers with high expectations, and Le Grand exceeded them in every area. Can't wait to go back!!!!!!!!! 28 October 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent service but a shabby room Always a nice place to stay while in Paris. Staff and service was excellent as always but room (Jr Suite) was overall a bit shabby. While entering the bathroom the door handle fell onto the floor and there was also a quite heavy smell of tobacco even it was a non smoking room. Bed was very good and the room spacious. 28 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Le Grande experience coming from a Royal Ambassador Member for 14 years The GM is doing something great because I've stayed at this hotel over the years not very frequently but over a long period of time. And things have improved remarkably. Clemente in the club lounge is a Super Star! The front desk is solid. There's a young lady at the concierge desk is great and very helpful but the other concierge staff are arrogant and do not understand customer service. The maitre d at the breakfast hall acts like security guard and not a greeter, though the jr. maitre d wants to be service oriented. The instant service male who answers the phones is terrible and rarely gets requests correct and does not follow up many times. The staff in the breakfast hall is fantastic though I have to try very hard to get the guys who make the eggs to say hello or smile.. 25 October 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by great service, beautiful hotel we came to the room , the air-condition was freezing ' we had to call for fixing it. the television didn't work the toilet didn't flushh the water during all four nights we had to flush it four to five times during shower al the water went out of the bath. pillow is too small nice that you let us stay for late checkout without payment 23 October 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice Paris hotel Very nice hotel, with knowledgeable and helpful staff, in very convenient location. Room configuration on the small side (not unexpected) but very well appointed. Metro station right outside of the hotel door. Great convenience, but does allow for some minor train noise as the night quiets down. The only negative was the high price of simple things such as a cup of coffee in the lobby lounge ($9) or bowl of French onion soup ($27) in the Café .. which unfortunately affects overall value provided. 22 October 2014

Dust everywhere, dirty bathroom, cracking ceiling, no tea or coffee in the room. How could it be 5 star hotel? They even did not provide hand soap until we called and asked! 21 October 2014
