I would particularly like to thank Nadim Bawab for the attention he gave to some issues I had with the automated reservation system. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 28th Wedding Anniversary at Le Grand Paris Words alone cannot describe the exceptional service received at this property on the occasion of our 28th wedding anniversary. We are a married couple traveling in Europe on holiday from Australia. The staff were so friendly and made us feel like their special guests. The hotel room was luxury beyond belief. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fabulous Weekend My wife and I stayed here the first weekend in May and I cannot praise the staff highly enough. It was an anniversary weekend away for us and the hotel staff did everything they could to make our stay better than we could have imagined. Despite there not being an upgrade available they compensated us in other ways so thank you very much. This was a perfect location to discover Paris from for our first time. We will be back. (e.g. vegetable uncooked, fish without taste, soup cold.......waiter without knowledge of servicing possibilities...) The only positive note is the decor ! Has deteriorated over the years as We remember as it was some years ago..... Very sad evolution: Please make an effort !!! May 7, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by very old building, metro trains passed through right under the bed The building looks very beautiful and historical from the outside, and I am pretty appreciative of the fact that you guys upgraded me to the room with the opera view. The design that toilet and shower is in separate places (less than 1 minute walk, but still) is more confusing than convenient. It's pretty easy to get lost in such a big building with the unclear signs. Metro trains passed under the bed frequently, which made it pretty hard to sleep. This is a very overpricing hotel and I'm feeling lucky that I used my points instead of money to pay for the stay. May 6, 2014

I miss proper wine glasses...burgundy glasses for burgundy wine, not a marketing glass from Dom Perignon.....excuse me for this, but I'm a sommelier... ;) April 23, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Spring visit Service and attentiveness of the staff were appreciated . The court-facing room offered the ability to open a window without any noise coming in. The upgrade received for being a member of the Priority Club was marvelous. Only issue for us, though minor, was the bed not being as hard as we like. The lunch and dinner reservations we requested were all done successfully and we again would like to thank Louise for her accomplishing that task very well. April 22, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 excellent location and beautiful hotel the hotel's location is excellent, walking distance to many major tourist destinations the bed is comfortable and guest room is elegant & beautiful there are many food items in breakfast at cafe de la paix, however the buffet menu could be rotated or changed in the mid of the week, so business travelers won't eat exact the same thing from Mon-Fri the gym is relatively small, renovation and to add more facilities will be great service provided from reception/housekeeping/room service/engineering were great overall, it's a great hotel with excellent location in Paris~ April 19, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Great memory of honeymoon stay here Paris is my last stop of my honeymoon in France, and I spent three nights here. Although the check-in process is not so good-because of key problems, we got our keys until night and the luggage was delayed in the delivery to our room by 2.5 hours, we recieved the most memoriable honeymoon welcome in our room after we come back our room. Roses were decorated from the gate to the surface of bed, very romantic and memoriable. Of course also with the champaign to celebrate our trip. Excellent location just beside Opera makes us very easy on transportation to all sight-seeing sites inside Paris. And also very charming breakfast because there is some Chinese and Asian food! The food and service in the first floor restaurant and catered food was impressive; good wait staff; superb meeting support and technical services; A++ meeting spaces. But, our room was anything but 5*****. Peeling paint in the bathroom; curtains falling off the rods; soiled, ill fitting carpet around the door. The bed was VERY comfortable; the air conditioning was unpredictable--hot part of the time. Impressive and courteous staff at the front door; short wait for valet delivery. You are paying for a GREAT location; lots of restaurants and shopping a short walk: 10 mins. to Champs; taxi to anywhere easy. April 12, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A place to call home in the centre of Paris I stay in a lot of hotels with my work and Le Grand is without doubt one of the best I have experienced. The genuine attention and consideration given by each and every member of the Hotel team that we encountered from the minute my wife and I walked in until we left after 4 days was excellent. Professionals who took a pride in their work. After each day and each night out in Paris it was a joy to come back to our well cared for room. We received a room upgrade when we arrived and we received a bottle of Champagne with minature cakes to our room on our first night, as it was our wedding anniversary - an unexpected suprise. I would not consider looking any other hotel to stay in if we were to ever visit Paris again. Thank you for helping to make this time in Paris memorable one. April 2, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Quality Rooms This is my 3rd stay in your hotel. I stay in Paris about 2 times a year. I normally stay in Westin near Cambon or your hotel. My previous 2 stayed at your hotel were good. But least week was terrible. The air con were down for both nights. Your technician came but was not able to solve the problem. I think the regular maintainnance was not carried out properly. The counter staff were good. Your consierge was efficient. March 23, 2014
