Being an Ambassador member, always get room upgraded during my stays. This time I was upgraded to a Prestige Suite Opera View which enable me to have a up close view of the Opera House.
Location is perfect for shopping and dining. Will sure come back to stay in this hotel.

Room cleaning was not up to the standard expected. Stay lacks swift and accurate actions specially the concierge. I can understand the Parisian pride but not when it comes with inefficiency.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Good hotel building with nice decoration anywhere in hotel but not in good services
We stayed at the Le Grand for 3 nights on 1st,Jan2015. Beautiful Hotel with very nice decoration however in lobby, restaurants and room. I am Gold ambassdor membership to allowed upgrade to superior and check out at 4pm with free Wifi when booked classic room. The wifi in room is great and have a very good receive signal, and special thank you to hotel give me a bottle of champagne, lovely macaron and fruits to celebrate my wife belated birthday in room. We also had buffet breakfast in restaurant, food is great and good enough choices.
On that Le Grand stayed, i had some disappointed memories although not a really big deal on me because only for 3days but i hope hotel could get some improvement is great !! When i arrived hotel, no bells or doorman to help arrange my 2 big luggages or help to open the doors, i did it myself to check in counter, after arrived ambassdor check in counter for few minutes, no recepitionist here to standby, i'm nothing unhappy to go to line up with common check in counters, but some of receptionists might look busy, they're bypass me without politely smile and greeting to help another guests however i stand and facing them. I don't think disrespect is the core of Intercontinental or IHG style. Of course except the one of receptionist who initivate to come to help me check in process with professional attitude and knowledge. Second day, i had breakfast in restaurant, food is good and enough choices, but the waiters still as same as some receptionists without greeting or nothing politely smiles and services. On my idea, Le grand is really underperform however compare with other four stars hotels in Paris or Intercontinental Hotel or IHG in some countries
Overall, Le grand have a very good hotel building and lovely decorcation anywhere in hotel with great location but unfortunately maybe they mainly to focus on many group tours but not enough of staffs working so affected their services qualitily and care to everyone.

My self and my Husband have just spent three nights and had a wonderful time. Very friendly staff and a very well organised hotel.
It is situated in such a central position and we just love returning to this hotel. We have been here twice in the one year and will be returning again on our nest trip to this lovely City.
The Concierge were brilliant which is a great help when you want to make the most of your time in Paris.
Thanks to the Hotel for making our stay so memorable.

Clearly the grand dame of all hotels in Paris yet updated with today's comfort. The staff were always available to assist and concierge arranged numerous tickets, dinners and events. The room was very quiet even when facing the street. The bed comfort was equal to the best mattress one would have in their home.
Most surprising was the quality of the restaurants (there are several) - - in fact, some of the best food in all of Paris. The quality, originality and presentation all exceeded expectations. This surpassed our experiences at other more highly rated Michelin star restaurants. While it may have been over looked by the Michelin rankers, it was duly noted that it was not overlooked by the locals. They clearly know guality food, service, atmosphere which resulted in a waiting list for lunch and dinner over the 2 weeks we visited.

The Club lounge is very pleasant
2 floors (I prefer the upper floor: more intimate and nice view over the Opéra)
Excellent food options at breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and diner time.
Very friendly staff
Very pleasant hotel for central location, atmosphere, club lounge
