CABS

Taxis can be hard to find, especially at rush hour, at night, and on rainy days. Your best bet is to find a taxi rank marked with a blue sign, or to ask your hotel Doorman or the restaurant Maitre D' to call a taxi for you. A white light on a taxi's roof indicates the car is free. An orange light means the cab is busy. Most drivers will not take more than three people. Also, expect to pay an extra fee if someone sits in front, or if you place some heavy luggage in the trunk.

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 450 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 A beautiful hotel, but no consistency in level of service This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff is generally friendly. I stayed there twice within last month. On the second occasion, the check-in was very unpleasant. The lady checking me in started making very loud comments on how cheap the rate was that I paid for a junior suite while there were many guests standing around. In the end the suite was not even ready while I was checking in after 4pm! and I had to go for a different room altogether. It would be nice if the staff at the entrance opened the door for the guests, especially when they carry luggage or bags. A smile from time to time also would not hurt and would bring this hotel closer to an Intercontinental level of service. 28 January 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient and Classy Option for Central Paris This was my second stay at the Paris Le Grand. The staff are unfailingly polite and competent. The hotel is decorated tastefully consistent with what one expects of an elegant Paris hotel. The base-priced rooms are small and expensive by American standards, but similar to other Paris hotels in floor area and price for the amenities offered. Everything in the room is beautiful and functional. The hotel is one block from the pick-up and drop-off spot for the CDG airport Roissy bus, which makes the hotel the most convenient in Paris once catches the bus at the airport end. 22 January 2015
