Taxis can be hard to find, especially at rush hour, at night, and on rainy days. Your best bet is to find a taxi rank marked with a blue sign, or to ask your hotel Doorman or the restaurant Maitre D' to call a taxi for you. A white light on a taxi's roof indicates the car is free. An orange light means the cab is busy. Most drivers will not take more than three people. Also, expect to pay an extra fee if someone sits in front, or if you place some heavy luggage in the trunk.

    Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very Disappointed The Hotel location is great. The Breakfast is great, many choices, staff there are excellent. But...... Our group of 10 persons had a bad experience there. We had 2 visits (first one night on 4th Dec. and second 2 nights on 9th and 10th Dec.) Our room keys been locked on the next day @ 7.30 am. even though we emphasized at the reception that please ensure that we will use the room until 10.00 or 11.00 am. So, after BF. we could not get back to the room ! When asked the duty manager to investigate, in stead of finding out how it happened, she kept saying that probably we placed our room keys near the mobile phone. Finally, she herself found that because of all the keys been programmed check out time at 7.30 am. Bad experience !!! Staff (Reception) is neglected. Duty Manager is incompetence A pity very good hotel, all other staff are excellent. I had used for BF. as well as drink at the bar ( please find from my expenses record) 14 December 2014

Would recommend hotel whole heartedly and especially for special occasions. Christmas decorations tastefully arranged inside and outside the hotel which added to the experience. 14 December 2014
    Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Paris Experience Very nice hotel with a great view of Paris. We were very impressed with the location and quality of the Paris - Le Grand. Located right by the Opera House and main metro lines, we were conveniently able to see all of Paris with ease. The staff was incredible and very helpful during our stay. I would stay at the Le Grand anytime I'm in Paris. 13 December 2014
