First Mr. Makara and his concierge staff go above an beyond all the time, regardless of request they find a way to assist guests. One of the best I have seen as a traveler. The restaurants are consistently good, higher priced than the local venues but considering the guaranteed quality in the hotel it is worth it. Would like to be able to go name by name of the staff and say thanks but that would include all those that I interacted with. Well run hotel that focuses on customer satisfaction.

Location OK, but not in the most desirable area in town. Shower did not drain well and rooms are in need of renovation. Dinner buffet was expensive and not very good. Lobby was attractive and staff friendly and helpful.

What a wonderful stay, the staff are fantastic.
This has the feel of a boutique hotel which makes it feel more personal.

I dropped one of my membership card when I was checking out on17 Oct and front desk staff (Channa) found it and came looking for me as I was waiting for my pick up at the lobby.
Mr McField at the coffee lounge where I have my breakfast is also commendable. He will come and talk to me as we know each other from my regular stay there.
I would like to acknowledge both of them for their good work.
I am returning on 29 Oct again and will be staying at Intercon.
I have a request: Can I access the club lounge on the 14th floor?

All the staff of hotel too friendly feel like at home. Just the furnitures need to be upgrade.

Alles in allem ein gutes, wenn auch etwas sehr pompöses Hotel, das wohl dem Publikum entsprechend ist - es waren viele Chinesen da und es sieht auch aus wie die Hotels dieser Kategorie in China - , mir aber zu oldfashioned rüberkommt. 5 Sterne im Internationalen Umfeld gehen anders. Die Zimmer sind altbacken im Vergleich.zum "Neuen Look" der meisten Internationalen Hotels. Das Personal ist unheimlich freundlich und aufgeschlossen und spricht überraschend gut Englisch. Die Hotelbeschreibung auf den Buchungsportalen hat mich allerdings geärgert, denn sie ist enthusiastisch beschönigend.
Die Lage ist ungünstig: weg von dem geschäftlichen Teil, aber auch weiter weg von Downtown. Dem Hotel fehlt ein Pool an Tuktukfahrern und Guides die sie bei Bedarf buchen kann.
Beim nächsten Mal wohl eher nicht wieder.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Feels almost at home. The staff knows my preference and some of them even know me by my name!
