There was some e.mails between the sales department and myself about 2 men using the same room, but being platinum ambassador we were upgraded to a lovely room. The standard of food and service was excellent, only spoilt by the attitude of one older member of staff in the club lounge. The club lounge is a little small when busy. The pool was excellent, and overall the staff were friendly, very efficient, and always remembered your requirements.
The standard of hotel, was high, very clean, excellent toiletries and I did not want too leave when the time arrived. The beds and room comfort were outstanding. Look forward to coming back next year.

This is a great hotel. Comfortable and friendly efficient staff. The guys in the club lounge are top class.
Bobby the manager runs a tight ship which ensures everything runs smoothly.

Terribly old furniture and interior set up, e.g. doors are damaged. It does not worth the room for a five star hotel. As I have heard a renovation is to be made end of the year, perhaps more attention has been paid to those rooms for the guests from the Asean Members??

I have just spent 6 weeks staying at the Intercon in Phnom Penh, during an extended work trip. At the end of the 6 weeks I felt as if I were part of the 'local family' at the Hotel.
The breakfast is first class, a great variety of fresh local fruits, through to Asian, European, Western or local style foods available, the staff are only too happy to provide you with genuine service and attention to detail.
Rooms are serviced regularly, once agian outstanding attention to detail. Friendly staff in the Intercontinental Club with a good variety of drinks and foods ensure a great experience!

After giving some inputs for improvements on breakfast offerings, check in speed and credit card issues last month, they were immediately addressed this trip.
Staff were continuously asking me if I had Internet issues knowing I have such needs for business purposes. Very intelligent customer service indeed!

Stayed at Holiday Inn Chiang Mai for three days. Staff was helpful and the service was good.
No recognition from reception for being a Gold Card member; got my newspaper one day only.
The rooms are outdated and noise from the hallway is annoying. Hallway noise could be remedied with heavier doors that extend to the floor. Elevators are slow and often had to wait for extended periods of time to get one.
Location is good and the available parking was a plus.
