Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel in Perfect Location Had 3 nights in Prague. Lovely room with good amenities 22 January 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A long weekend in Prague 3rd time I visit Prague. Visiting friends this time and take a few extra sights. Ice hockey match to be recommended as is the Veletržní palác museum. In regards to the hotel, I was able to pick up a promo in a 48hrs sale, breakfast inclusive.. which was very good value for Prague and the IC. (Prague is a bit overpriced hotel wise in my opinion) The breakfast itself could have a wider choice of cut meats. White bread is also not to be found in Prague it seems. Room quality was top notch when speaking about the bedroom. It's nice to see your bed open and ready to jump in when you return from an evening in town. Absolutely no noise pollution. The bathroom showed some small damages but the most irritating part of it was that the main shower was powerful and hot but could not be used due to the way it was mounted. The bath's main tap was on the same side and about the same size.. blocking the shower's use. Concierge service was great and managed to answer all my questions. Okay ... I went off a tram stop to early once for a specific sight... but those things happen. I didn't find the time to try out the pool so ... I have a reason to come back. 22 January 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AMAZING INTERCONTINENTAL AND LOCATION !!!! This Intercontinental staff and location are exceptional!!! My stay was one of the best five star hotel experiences I have ever had!!! The staff was extremely courteous, accommodating, and professional, and the location was amazing! The breakfast had so many lovely options! This is a very well run Intercontinental! The hotel is located on the river on the main street with tons of high end shopping options...Moncler, Prada, Luis Vuitton etc. Walking to the main square or to the St. Charles bridge takes 5 minutes. There is a convenient mini-market across the street. Additionally, it is a 5-10 minute walk to any restaurant you might want to eat at. Dinner at La Truffe was the best dining experience of my life!! Love this hotel and location! 14 January 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Shocking behaviour on Christmas Day at IHG Prague refer to previous comments. too long to explain all the issues encountered for a one night stay on xmas day. Front desk need to go through their whole client service schedule again as what I experienced was a disgrace! 08 January 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Pleasant stay Great location, very knowledgeable and friendly staff. The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable, and they were very helpful with the needs of our dog, which is not always the case at other hotels of this level. We would gladly stay again. 06 January 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Nice location and the hotel needs renovation! The hotel is situated in a very nice location, however that is the only positive thing I can thing about it. The bulding is pretty old and needs renovation. As we were walking down the hallway towards our room, we could see temporary repairs on the walls which did not look that good. The service we received was below average. The first day there, we went to the hotel's concierge and we asked if they have some places that they recommend that we should visit, since we would only stay there for 2 days. Her first answer was that we should buy a travel guide! And only when we insist on asking her where to go and how to get there she gave us some information but not much. I remember that one day I called either room service, or the concierge, or reception and I had to wait 5-10 minutes before someone answered the phone. Also, the service during breakfast was not what you would expect from an Intercontinental hotel. In general we felt that our stay at that hotel was not what we expected from an Intercontinental hotel!! 06 January 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Enjoy the Club Lounge Great hotel in an excellent location, highly recommend a club room and the woman works in the lounge is also excellent. The only negative is the extraordinary (even for Europe) cost of the parking per day at 1000 CZK. 05 January 2015
