Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst room ever The front desk man gave me the worst room in the hotel I believe. I over view the roof of the hotel lobby. And the room smell like kitchen when I turn the heater on. I have asked change my room at the beginning, but they keep saying no other none smoking room available. I am current stay at Saigon Intercontinental hotel, the room is ok but not that great either. I am not planning to stay IHG hotel chain in the future, since even I am gold member, I don't get any better treatment, why bothere to save my point stay here. I am very disappoint Qingdao Intercontinental. 25 January 2014

You feel she loves her work with all her heart whatever she is doing, lovely. A great help, go on like this. The Hotel is well located in the middle of the Olympic Sailing Center. Great view, short ways, Nice surrounding. A great breakfast, perfect offer, nothing missed, great cookers behind the ovens. That Hotel is worth to be an Intercontinental.... 25 November 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel with Excellent Staff We had a perfect 3 night stay at Intercontinental Qingdao. The location at the Olympic Sailing Center with a view over the skyline of the city is very nice. The decor of the hotel is very tasteful and inviting. Rooms, amenities and facilities are all exceeding our expectations. The very best of the hotel is its staff. They are very well trained, knowledgeable, highly professional and extremely friendly. Every single one of the staff we have encountered from when we arrived at the hotel, at the check-in, at the club lounge to the cleaning staff was impressive and extremely helpful. The only thing that can be improved is the addition of a whirlpool in the swimming pool area. 04 October 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 超级人性化的一晚 这次出差很突然,第一晚公司没给定洲际酒店,本来预计一天去把事情做完的,忙到晚上六点,才想起还要住在青岛, 联系了大客户经理,急匆匆的讲了要求, 马上就给了回复. 入住酒店是在11点多了,还是给保留房间的. 房间的格局和上次的一样,这点做的很不错. 早晨的早餐要夸一句, 有服务人员带到特定的桌边,就可以自己去找东西吃了, 不用担心座位会被占掉. 早餐区有个角落很赞, 能看到奥帆中心. 下次去, 还是准备住洲际. 19 August 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Qingda IC, a nice hotel for family I have been staying at Qingdao for totally 3 nights, 2 of them are paid by cash, the other one night is redeemed by points. I would strongly recommend this hotel for the view, infrastructures, facilities insides, and of course the frienly managers and staff. Evething are very well prepared beore I arrive, and I, as a RA member, got a room upgrade and welcome fruit and flowers. During the past several years, I come to Qingdao quite often, and every year, I come in summer holiday with my families, they love this hotel, and feel like at home. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by First Time in Wheel Chair This stay at Qingdao ICH was both different and the same. The same in the now expected friendly and excellent service and the physical facilities. Different because this time I was in a wheel chair for the first time in my life - fortunately, only until a broken leg heals. The property is very wheelchair friendly, something I never thought about before. But what impressed me most was the immediate notice I recieved and the desire of the staff to be of assistance. I appreciated that the attention was attentive but without being overwhelming. It was truly value-added service, not a "show". From getting myself out of the car to check in, to breakfast, to dinner, staff were alert and quick to think ahead so, for example, when I arrived at a table for a meal, a chair had already been moved so I could roll right up to the table. At the buffet staff offered to carry my plate (very useful as I don't have three hands). The best value and arguably the "heart" of any hotel is best demonstrated by the initiative, friendliness, and skilled service of the "front line" staff. Behind the front line staff are the management and TRAINING. Qingdao InterContinental has again distinguished itself in my view. My Thanks to ALL. 07 July 2013
