I enjoyed my stay and feel that this hotel is located in a prime location of Riyadh
It's like a resort and palace.
The Golf is unique in Riyadh. I understand that it's 45 years old but it looks new and well maintained.
I liked king faisal conference hall and facilities.
The restaurants and the coffee shop is luxurious.
I will always choose this hotel as my home every time I visit Riyadh.
I highly recommend it to my friends.

The sleeping room is very comfortable but the bathroom is not spacious and could need some update. the people at the reception area are fantastic but the staff at the club lounge which i visited during breakfast time were not very friendly. The breakfast buffet is very good. I would not hesitate to visit the Intercontinental Riyadh again and again.

Staff in general have shown an outstanding level of customer service starting from the reception individuals who immediately recognized me as a Royal Ambassador customer and offered the packages applicable to this category, and all the way to the polite service staff who were fully informed and aware of all the hotel services and facilities.
I could only conclude that my stay in this hotel is part of the success I accomblished in this trip.

First of all the hotel building is old the furniture is old and cheap. The restaurants and the food was not that good as well as it served cold and tasteless. It does not worth the value of the money. When we requested a limousine car they brought us very old ford and not official taxi.
My friend get much better offer from booking.com comparing to me?! so no advantage of being a IHG® Rewards Club Member.

Aside for the size of the room and especially the bathroom being a bit small. and the rate being high, this hotel provides excellent services and amenities. The health club facilities are excellent. The grounds are very large with a very open design plan. The restaurants are excellent. The room was spotless, the housekeeping staff does a fantastic job. Friendly and very helpful staff overall. I would definitely stay in this hotel again when traveling to Riyadh.

Room badly in need of make over.
Staff OK butr nothing special.
Food in restaurants very average and very expensive.
Absolutely not good value or pleasant.
On top of this - no points awarded as part of loyalty programme - guess you don't value my loyalty !!!!!

I would highly recommend Intercon hotel for business travelers specially. Its about 20 mins from kingdom towers and has a fresh feeling to it , which is not easy to find in desert riyadh. I specially liked the rooms as well which are spacious & clean. As gold member, i was greeted very well , so the staff has been trained nicely.
Wish to stay again sometimes.

Very good experience in my room for cleanliness, accommodation and space availability.
The feeling is that the room rate and the breakfast are a little bit expensive if compared with other hotels in the IHG group; breakfast is definitely unbalanced in terms of value.

Unfortunately due to work commitments I could not travel home this festive season and instead stayed with you in Riyadh.
Your team really went out of their way again to make my stay a memorable one. In particular Julian at the Front Desk, who is one of the best FO staff I have had the pleasure of meeting. He has an amazing attention to detail and customer service, which you should recognize and reward.
Also the entire Club Lounge staff who have a great manager, motivating them to really take care of regular guests, making business a breeze at the Intercont in Riyadh.
The only complaint would be that the Lufthansa crew should be asked to be a bit more mindful of other guests in the Lounge. Each evening they seemed to take the place over and were too loud for those of us trying to have business meetings or finish the day's work.

Comfortable stay and very good recognition of IHG memebsrs.Facilities are good. The room work desk and details are well designed and placed. The bathrooms / tubs could be a little bigger but it is due to building layout.
Overall a highly recommended hotel....

I have stayed at the Intercon when visiting Riyadh for over 20 years. I remain convinced that this is one of the finest hotels in the Region, but during my last stay, I was somewhat disappointed with the quality of service, refreshments and attention to detail, particularly in the Club Lounge. Also, the air conditioning was uncomfortably high and, despite repeated comment, this continued throughout my visit -unpleasant, unnecessary,and a waste of resource!

The locative this hotel is great. But when I'm there i feel like I'm back in the 80's. IHG have tried to revamp it but it just doesn't work. When I went to the heated pool, Gym, restaurants or room I feel like this place needs to be built from scratch. Sometimes the cosmetics just don't work.
