Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible Management and Reception staff All other staff was great, but the manegment and the staff behind the counter for check in and check out are terrible and make the expirence a terrible one. The food was terrible and overpriced. This hotel is terribly managed and delivers a terrible expirience. Save yourselves!!! 28 October 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Concierge Our check in process was not the best as the clerk seemed very snooty and rude. She stated she would put us in a "Great Room", right across from the elevators is where we landed. Despite being across from the elevators our view was outstanding! Next up: The concierge staff; this group of gentlemen are outstanding, some of the best I've encountered. I would compare the concierge staff to that of the Fairmont in Santa Monica, CA, definitely top notch! 27 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Resort services at Airport class The usual hotel booked thru our company service listed as Full. The Intercontinental came up as a competitive alternate. This turned out to be an excellent choice. Beach and pool. Exotic landscaping with all of the extras. 27 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by beautiful facilities Came back to my country after 25 years if absence, great hotel, beautiful pool and front access to the beach. The staff was very friendly. Now, at night, everything shuts down around seven inside the hotel, no bar, no restaurant. The pool is open 24 hrs, but access to the beach stops around that time also, more than likely for safety purposes. Stores are closed by as well as affordable restaurants. Oh! And I LOVE the sound of the Coqui at night, our national frog. I will stay there again. 25 October 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Way overpriced! For what I paid for this motel I certainly did not receive the service I usually receive at nice motels. We arrived at 1pm very tired as we had been up since 3am that morning only to be told and reminded numerous times that checkin was 4pm. My friend was given her room because her husband was a platinum member and I was advised if a room became available they would call my cell. I didn't receive and call and you cannot tell me a room was not available before 4pm. Very very disappointed in the customer service and I ever go back to Puerto Rico, I will stay elsewhere. I've certainly received much better customer service at hotels similar to this one. Not impressed at all! They only seemed to care about IHG Rewards Club members. 22 October 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Plenty of other places to stay on Isle Verde This hotel and its staff are not worth your time and money to visit, yes they have a nice pool but unless you are sleeping in it, go elsewhere. I am sure that in its prime it was a star, but now with no GM around it has fallen way down in quality. Next time I visit an IHG facility it will be a HE Express and I expect it will be a better experience. 21 October 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by No fue lo que esperaba Planifiqué una escapada con mi esposo para descansar. Salir de la rutina de trabajo de 12 horas diarias, lejos de los laboratorios y la industria, que mejor que Intercontinental en Isla Verde y quisimos aprovechar la oportunidad. Lamentablemente no pudo ser así. Al llegar al hotel esperamos sobre hora y media para poder realizar el registro. Luego de esto solicité jabón para bañarse ya que en la habitación no había. No vino ni llamo nadie, salí con mi esposo a cenar, colocando el letrero de "No Molestar" ya que no prefiero que nadie entre a mi habitación teniendo artículos personales y medicamentos allí. Para mi sorpresa, al regresar de la cena, encontré los jabones dentro de la habitación, sin autorización alguien entró en mi habitación, gesto que no es aceptable para mi, evento muy injusto. Solicité se me cambiara de habitación ya que no me sentía cómoda de estar en un área donde los empleados no siguen reglas. El personal de seguridad me asigno otra habitación, totalmente inaceptable, sucia, con evidentes reparaciones muy mal hechas y muchísimas mas sin hacer. La escapada de descanso, termino en una tortuosa, no pudimos salir casi de la habitación por miedo a que alguien pudiera irrumpir en nuestra privacidad, no pudimos descansar ya que el aire acondicionado tenía un ruido muy fuerte. Al momento de hacer el registro de salida le comenté la situación al personal que me asistió y realmente no se si no hablaba español o simplemente no me quiso entender, sólo levantó la mirada y siguió en su asunto. En fin, no fue lo que planificamos, pero que más podía esperar de un personal que no cumple con lo más básico de la vida, seguir las reglas. Tomé tiempo para escribir esto, espero sirva de ayuda para atender a futuros huésped. Finalmente le pregunto ¿el servicio, seguridad y confort de sus huésped, es parte de su visión y misión como hospedería? 20 October 2014
