Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Outstanding! I was not sure what to expect as a first time traveler to San Juan. I did a lot of research to find the right place to stay and felt like I could trust the Intercontinental brand to at a minimum be safe & clean. After having 2 very bad experiences traveling to the Bahamas... I wasn't sure if this would be more of the same but was prepared for the worst. BOY WAS I SUPRISED. The customer service could NOT have been better. Every single person we came into contact with over a 7 day stay was extraordinarily friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The property was beautiful, the food was good, and everything was sooooo reasonably priced. Truly the best experience, for the best price I've had.... EVER. Kudos and thank you!!! 22 April 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice property and location. We had a very nice family vacation at the Intercontinental-San Juan. Staff were always very friendly and helpful. Nice beach and pool. Hotel restaurant and Momoyama's were very good. We enjoyed the Spa facilities. 22 April 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Staff did not give me what I asked for-rude I give this hotel a D. First, they did not give me a room off the highway and requested an additional $40 per night because it was on the waterfront. I requested this and they told me WHEN I got there. Would have chosen another property. Secondly, my customers were staying there and they gave them free breakfast. We paid. Pfizer had a rate, told us they would off the rate also, the front desk not only declined my request, the guy was extremely rule and smiled when he told me NO. I brought my boss and customers to this hotel, won't happen again on future trips. Breakfast by the way was $28 each + tip. My waiter was sick and sniffling a lot, by coincidence, I was sick 3 days later. No need to reply or hotel to call-over and done. ML 22 April 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by professional staff We have stayed here twice and each time it was exactly what the doctor ordered...a beautiful, quiet, elegant hotel with excellent staff. Our rooms were perfect and the pool /beach staff are always polite and accomodating. The concierge is helpful and knowledgable. We joined the ambassador program and that was a home run. If you plan to frequent the hotel I highly suggest you join too. Thank you for a wonderful family vacation. See you next year. 21 April 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed- terrible air conditioning The air conditioner in our room was not working. After three visits from the hotel staff , they offered to move us but we were leaving the next day so we declined. They offered us a free breakfast for the inconvenience. The staff did not care at all that the air conditioner was not working. If you need anything from the front desk, you are treated like they are doing you a favor. The beach and pool are very nice The staff at the beach restaurant is very rude - don't ask for a cup Of ice. They won't give it to you. 21 April 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by One of the Best Hotels in Puerto Rico We stayed at this hotel prior to joining a cruise. The staff were extremely pleasant and the rest of the hotel industry should follow their example. Every staff person that we interacted with were great and bent over backwards to provide great service to us. We had a handicapped room for my wife and the room was great to accommodate her needs. Our room overlooked the ocean and was a fantastic view of the beach, the pool and the cabanas. We had drinks in the lobby bar which were great tasting and the view was fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel for every service that they provide. 21 April 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hospitality plus My stay was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable, dining options were very good, and the staff was very attentive and accommodating. I especially appreciated my room attendant, "H," and his extra efforts to make my stay memorable. The hotel is also very convenient to the San Juan airport - only about 5-10 minutes away. 19 April 2015
