Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent service All our requests were quickly and effectively handled by hotel personnel. After early morning travel, we wanted to rest before an evening wedding. We were not bothered during our afternoon siesta. The room was quiet and comfortable, so we could get reenergized. The shower was invigorating and the bath towels were huge. The buffet breakfast offered many choices--all of which were delicious. 20 August 2014

As mentioned earlier, the group handling the Pepsi fair or whatever, were beyond rude! This could have been a real turnoff to an infrequent customer who doesn't know what an excellent staff you have. 20 August 2014

Slow and inadequate service at the reception, better in the restaurants and best at the Factory. Poor quality on some of the cars arranged by the hotel. Sad to see an opportunity lost, will probably stay at another hotel next time. 19 August 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by One of the best hotels in Honduras While I have stayed here before, I thought I would post a update. The hotel is in the shopping area with 2 malls. One is across the street and one is essentially in the parking lot. The hotel has a popular bar and 2 restaurants. The bar is next to the pool and frequently has parties that spill out into he pool area. As such don't get a room above the bar as it is noisy. The restaurants are ok, one is a normal buffet type with so-so food. He other is a very good steakhouse. The rooms are small but comfortable. The bed are comfortable one you get past them short sheeting the bed :-). If you want a warm shower remember to let the water run for 15 minutes or it is cold. The hotel is safe with unobtrusive guards. 10 August 2014

Buscaron la mejor ubicación para nuestra habitaciones, solicitamos servicios como periódico, cepillos de dientes y fueron evacuados con prontitud al igual que el revisar nuestras tarjetas de ingreso. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Restaurant The service in the dining room is a little off, always is. It's as if the staff is confused when you choose to order off the menu. That buffet is way too expensive. It's very nice but too expensive. The guest room could be a little cooler. I wish there was an ice machine on the floor so I don't have to tip people when they run it up to me. No había opción de pescado por ejemplo El precio es adecuado respecto a la calidad aunque sea algo elevado La encuesta la considero excesivamente larga. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by check inn I am a regular user of this Hotel and alway be recognized as a Royal Ambassador, but this time the lady in the front desk didn't recognize that, dont gave me my upgrade,dont gave me gift at the check in and dont have my plate of fruits, usually all the staff its very nice but I see there is a lot of new personal without experience. hope dont have the same experience next time. 30 June 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Good and Bad Staying at the Intercontinental in SPS has both good a bad things. Good: Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed and room, the food is ok. Bad: If you are in the Executive Floor (8th), it takes between 10 to 15 minutes for the hot water to start coming out after you turn the faucet open. If you pay the extra cost of the Executive Floor, you are doomed to have your breakfast there and the choices are extremely limited. Basically, every day the same scrambled eggs and beans. No healthy choices for the truly healthy nutrition oriented traveler. And I don't mean fruits, they are full of fructose. I mean vegetables, low-fat milk and yogurt, multi-gran bread, etc. What I had to do each morning was to go to the main restaurant in the first floor and pay the cost of a regular buffet, then I could have a veggie egg whites omelette. The hotel should let those who pay the more expensive Executive Floor decide whether they want to have their breakfast there or in the first floor, but always free of additional charge. Another bad thing, the gym leaves so much to be desired. Calling it a gym is actually an exaggeration. 11 June 2014
