Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Pool closed for weekend - quality of food serve for Ambassador level poor 1) The swimming pool closed on Saturday for a private affair. People stay at this hotel to use the pool on the weekends. It was suppose to open on Sunday morning at 9 am. It did not open until after 1 PM. 2) The hotel had no bananas for breakfast for 4 days. They were out of stock. In Honduras? 3) The food provided for Ambassador Club was very low quality. Stale bagel with slight cream sceese and I think a smal piece of smked salmon. Chicken thigh pieces rather than chicken breast pieces in a mixture of peppers and onions and some sauce. Quiche that was dry and so thin it was mostly crust and nothing else. Beef on a stick that was dry and had no flavor. IT was brought to the Chef;s attention and he said it was fine and they should be happy with it. 4) I always liked this Hotel. It was a bad week and needs to improve. 19 April 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Air conditioning not working Main restaurant have air conditioning g not working And this is terrible for Honduras weather. Even I asked several times to management to turn it on I never got it. I have a claim due to sheets cleaning and send to management. I feel a little disappointed from you after being a long time customer at this place. Not sure to come back in next trip, I should try new hotels in San Pedro. 08 April 2014

The staff is so kind, hospitable and offer quality customer service. The hotel is beautiful, safe, clean and comfortable. They have all the amenities you could want or need. And the food is fantastic! I hope to always stay at this hotel when I visit Honduras!! 14 March 2014

The food has much improved since my last visit in November 2013. However the lounge could get more refined food between 6 and 8 pm. 27 January 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not impressed at all Spent three nights there for business and was not impressed at all. Staff were very direct and short. No valet, horrible parking situation, no bellboy there to help with bags even though there were like ten employees sitting outside. Food was average and so was the room. They had parties going on during my stay that lasted well past midnight and I could hear everything in my room on the second floor. I had a much better experience at the Intercontinental in Tegucigalpa. 02 January 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The Executive Floor The Hotel is located in a quiet area of town and shares the same car park with a small mall. The lobby area is modern and the staff give me a warm welcome. The pool area is on the ground floor and it is very well laid out beside the gym and sauna. The problem with using the sauna is that there does not appear to be a private changing area. The rooms are not large but adequate and very well furnished, the bathroom is quite small, but there is a bath. The executive lounge is more like a breakfast room and there is no lounge seating. The snacks that are free between 6pm to 8pm are unimaginative, on the plus side drinks are unlimited and the executive lounge is open to 10pm, so you could have dinner and return for free drinks ! The restaurant is excellent and I had a fillet Mignon which was spot on, as was the service. Room wifi is $12 a day, however there is a free computer in the executive lounge. A 50 Limpera ($2) taxi ride will take you to a modern supermarket. Breakfast is included in the Executive room price so do not take it as an add on. 18 November 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Losing IHG standards Intercontinental San Pedro Sula is losing IHG standards to become a normal hotel property. I am a Platinum member and had to check in at regular counter after a wait, was given a room with AC not working, no bottle of water provided. The staff takes endless time to process bills inspite of prior intimation. The bath and basin fittings have water leakage all the time. This Hotel needs big time overhauling. 04 November 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mr. almost Everything was perfect except one situation that took place on Sunday about 2.30 am the girls were staying on the 6th floor, they were drunk and were using obcene language towards me and my roommate you sholud be more careful about the kind of people you let stay there, I notified this situation to the front desk but they were unable to give a answer. 09 October 2013

There is any service you can think of available from the hotel. Great restaurants, large conference rooms and located in a very safe area of town.
