Warm sunny days and cooler evenings
Weather in South East Queensland is a comfortable, sub-tropical climate, which is enjoyable all year round. Temperatures average in the mid to high 20 degrees celcius all year round. The highest rainfall is recorded during the summer months of December to February. Being sub-tropical, when it rains on the Gold Coast it's often seen that storms and clouds move on quickly after a rather heavy rain. After the rain, any storm activity or grey skies tend to clear up quickly, and there is a fast return to sunshine.
