The room was very nice, the staff was very helpful. The AC in the room did not work and it was "fixed" but not really.

o carpete do quarto estava com cheiro de cigarro. os itens de higiene pessoal e do minibar nao foram repostos. o leitor de cartao de um do elevadores nao estava funcionando. quando precisei de um taxi, tive que tomá-lo na rua, pois nao haviam taxis disponiveis pelo hotel.
Servico muito bom de restaurante.

I can absolutely recommend this hotel and their staff. they met all our needs in every which way, would most definitely come back host my event here.

This hotel is in need of major renovation and I believe they started doing some.
During the day you will hear jack hammers in the background while you try to conduct a business meeting.
The a/c in my room did not work and it took 2 days to finally fix it. They had to replace the complete a/c unit. Not once did they offer me another room.
They also did not clean up after they finished replacing the unit.
The water was switched off during the night without any warning. When I came back form dinner I could not shower or wash. When the water came back on the next day it was filthy brown.
I complained at checkout and all I got was the usual "We apologize for the inconvenience". There is a new tower next to the old which appears to be in a much better condition. Do yourself a favor and make sure you don't say in the old one, even though the lobby is super nice and classical.
The breakfast buffert was superb and the staff were excellent.

Me queje a Guest Services y no hicieron nada mas que tomar nota

The room I was staying in was not up to the standards I've grown to expect from other hotels in this chain.

We were there for 3 nights. AWFUL experience!! There was no hot water, the cold shower leaked in the toilet area, TV didn't work, bathroom sink drained slow, closet light wouldnt go out. We complained the 1st night and were told someone would be right up. After 45 minutes we said don't bother..it was 10:45 and we needed to sleep. We complained again the next morning, as did our tour director. They came and took the plug out of the drain and oiled the closet door. That was it! We complained again and they came up and did caulk around the shower and just turned out the light in the closet so we could see nothing. We NEVER got hot water. What was worse was the unresponsiveness of the staff. No one ever talked to us about the problem. or seemed to care. We found out later others on our floor also had no hot water. On our last day at 6:00 p.m. they said we could .switch rooms. We were going out to dinner in an hour and leaving the next morning. No time to switch. Their more important conference guest had left so I guess then they had time to worry about us. They sent a bell boy up with a bottle of wine and an apology letter full of how much they cared. If they cared they would have taken immediate action or told our tour group they had only awful rooms left so we could make other plans. I have never been treated so shabbily by a hotel in my life. They care nothing about their guests and obviously nothing about thei reputation. STAY AWAY!!!!
