Hotel rooms are in desparate need of a fresh, up to date renovation

CONS: For an Intercontinental, I'd expect to be given a more up to date, fresh, and remodeled room. I thought the room décor and condition of the furniture was old and stale. The HAC system was so loud, that I simply turned it off. The windows allowed too much outside noise in, seems they don't seal properly . You could have listed in the IC reservations page that your Intercontinental Club was not open for business and in the process of being remodeled.

PROS: Good location, efficient, and courteous staff. Recognition of Spire Elite Ambassador status

First room plagued by drilling, water leaked into the second.

Was given a free upgrade to the Club Tower, but the sprinkler must have gone off in the corridor outside as water came under the door. Got a free bowl of fruit and extra loyalty points as compensation.

He estado en varios intercontinental alrededor del mundo, y la calidad de la comida no fue lo que esperaba, asimismo el ruido y el olor al exterior de las habitaciones fue incómodo, seria ideal que pudieran tener en cuenta lo expuesto ya que el personal y el servicio fue súper bueno y cordial, además de estar muy cerca a la oficina de mi empresa en Santiago.

午前11時にホテルに到着した時点では、部屋が空いていなかったため、チェックインできなかったため、ロビーで待っていたところ、頻繁に声をかけてくれたり、その後午後1時には部屋に入ることが出来た。スタッフの努力のおかげだと考えている。

All excellent but the unreliable air conditioning

This hotel was selected because it is the traditional hotel used by Princess Cruise Lines in Santiago, including a representative on station. Everything about the hotel was excellent, including staff, appointment, facilities and location, with one major exception. The air conditioning system in the main and executive towers was not working or was not controllable, respectively. At our request (not offered by the staff, but demanded by me), we were moved to the Executive Tower after many hours of high temperature in our first room and lapsed deadlines to get it fixed. In the second room the air conditioning worked but was not controllable - either always on or I shut it off. Aside from this matter, we really enjoyed our stay and would use this hotel again in the future - assuming the a/c is fixed!

Convenient in Santiago

This was a post-cruise stay for one night. The hotel is modern and spacious. The breakfast is adequate. Hotel was undergoing some renovation so noise and air-conditioning was a problem. Otherwise, it was a comfortable environment. Ask for water when you check in as it is not advised to drink the hotel water. Great restaurants within a few blocks of hotel.

Great Experience

A fitting end to a great South American Cruise. The Santiago InterContinental hotel is located in a great section of the city with access to great restaurants and shopping. The staff was extremely helpful with sightseeing suggestions, restaurants and transfers to the airport. Overall we had a great experience and would return to this hotel if future travels brings us to Santiago.

Habitación oscura en la parte aparente vieja del edificio, No lo informa en la reserva, si lo se con anterioridad no reservo este hotel. Habitación oscura y con vista a un contrafrente.
No responde para nada a un intercontinental hotel, he estado en otros alrededor del mundo mucho mejores,
mala relación precio servicio. ademas había una delegación de olimpiadas que no se informa con anterioridad y que altera el servicio del hotel. No volvería En la esquina esta el Holiday Inn express de la cadena IHG por casi el mismo precio y con mejores habitaciones y vista, mas desayuno.

Very Nice hotel and Excellent staff

I greatly enjoyed my recent short stay at the InterContinental Santiago. Prior to arrival, the concierge services, particularly Humberto, provided excellent help in arranging airport/hotel transfers as well as tours of the Santiago area. He was very responsive to emails and my questions. He was very helpful and provided excellent service, which made my stay enjoyable and feel great even before my arrival into Santiago. With his help, I had very little to worry about during my short stay over the Christmas holiday. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful; a good example for other hotels to follow. I was recognized as a Spire elite IHG member and offered an upgrade in the new Club Tower. The club room was a very nice end/corner unit with plenty of light and views. It was very clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable with feather pillows for a relaxing evening sleep after a long day of touring. Would definitely stay again at the InterCon if my travels bring me back to Santiago. Thank you to all of the staff and especially Humberto with concierge services. Cheers.
