Get prepared to face the four seasons of the year in a single day. TaxisYou can easily find a taxi in São Paulo city. Officially they are all white cars. You should always keep some money with you because most taxis drivers do not take credit cards. It is highly recommended that you have your accurate route so that you can avoid any language misunderstanding due to the fact that most taxi drivers do not speak a second language. São Paulo is a big city and driving requires a lot of patience. The public transportation can be useful if you are in a hurry and know that there is a subway station nearby. The subway green line Trianon-Masp is the nearest from InterContinental São Paulo. TippingBrazilians are not used to tipping. Usually a proper tip for a good service would be 10% on your total restaurant amount. Many places do not add the tip on your bill. Nevertheless, if you had a good level of service, it is kind to pay for it. São Paulo city hosts many attractions for all tastes and pockets. Get prepared for every kinds of events. The winter can be harsh, but you should also have a light jacket, in case the temperature becomes moderate and bring an umbrella. The weather in Sao Paulo is tropical and very unpredictable. ShoesTo walk around the city, it would be better if you have light clothes, with comfortable shoes or trainers. If you are looking for some great experience in the city's restaurants some classical shoes are highly appreciated.
