A good standard modern hotel, with full comfort, excellently located in the heart of Sao Paulo. Nothing to complain about, but nothing "exotic" or original enough to attract attention.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 A guest experience that is worth to forget.
Since the booking I had Issues.
When I made the reservation, I accepted a rate that was different from the one I was invoiced. I've made the claim, and received a disapointing answer. (That It was a WEB page issue).
Very expensive rate, very small not so clean room.
Room service: I ordered a soup taking into account the ingredients description that I read in the menu and received one with ingredients that I do not tolerate.
I booked a hotel taxi for the next day (4:30 am) because I had a flight very early and they forgot to book it but remembered very well to charge it in my final invoice.
I will never come back in my entire life, nor my relatives & friends for sure.

Intercontinental São Paulo provides a wonderful experience. Pick up service was provided with iPad and wi fi connection making it possible for me to keep updated with my e-mails on the way to the hotel. At the lobby I was welcomed by the bellman that addressed me to the front-desk. I have received a warm welcome and all benefits were thoroughly explained to me. Internet service in the room was a plus, as I was able to connect at the same time with my laptop and Iphone. Connection was very easy to set up and the connection speed is very fast. Housekeeping services are outstanding and I got my personal belongings organized without requesting. Hotel is well located nearby good restaurants and financial district. All major banks you can easily find in the surroundings. I was provided with Club Lounge access where you have availability of one meeting room and daily happy hour. Breakfast is very good and they offer also omelets where in some hotels you do not have this option. Surely it is a hotel worth coming back.

I arrived very early on Monday morning. The checkin process was very efficient and friendly. They were able to get me into my room and provide me an iron very quickly so I could rest and get to the office.

The Interconti Sao Paulo is fully renovated and refurbished with a nice style. It is perfectly located close to the main business and shopping streets (parallel to Avenida Paulista) as well as upper class areas of the city. Also downtown is not that far by cab but it is anyway better to stay in a hotel close to Avenida Paulista than in downtown.
The rooms are very comfortable with warm and light colors. Club Lounge was very good.
Concierge and other staff are very client oriented and maintain a "honest" friendliness you don't find in all five star hotels. They were fluent in English and some even spoke German. In addition, the chief concierge wrote me a personal E-Mail before arrival to ask for my preferences instead of receiving just the automated standard E-Mail.
The only "small" downside is that the outdoor pool is to cold for August #winter in South America# and the hotel doesn't have an indoor pool.

Very well supported by the staff during my stay. Close attention to my safety and comfort. Reception is able to make quick decisions and sort problems. Rooms well cleaned and presented
Restaurant breakfast and lunch presentation very good. Rooms perhaps getting a little dated (bathrooms, 1203).
Conference audio visual could be higher standard - projection not high resolution

This hotel is near of most attractions in São paulo-Jardins (restaurants, theaters etc..). The staff and Service are excellent. I definitely recommend this hotel when staying in São Paulo

The check in was terrible, they were really confuse. The room had nothing from Ambassador status and the breakfast was terrible. We needed to implore to have coffee.

The receptionists were polite and helpful.
The restaurant staff were prompt, polite and helpful. But few understood English.
Room keeping was irregular. Over the one week stay, there was one day when the room wasn't made up.
The gym staff were unable to communicate in English and were generally unhelpful. There was no towel most of the time.

Once again, the staff at the SP Intercon was wonderful and made us feel at home. From Debora at Reception to Agata in the club lounge it's always to be remembered.
Check-in was a little complicated due to my wife and I arriving at different times but the staff made it very easy.
Will certainly be back again soon!,,

While the property is well located and its appearence up to the level of an Intercontinental Hotel, the staff really help make the differnce.

Dear Intercontinental Corp.
I stayed ar your property for 13 days. I had a great time. All staff were very helpful, specially Renata Farha (Concierge) Gabriel D'Avila (guest service) Joel (waiter at breakfast). I was taking care of a group of turkish artists and i believe everybody like the hotel. In the last night i had problem with the water supply in my room and i couldn't use the shower after a long day of work, but i know this kind of issue it can happen.
I just did not like the price of parking lot. R$40 per day it is too much. I did not parked my car there because i would spend R$520 in 13 days.

My stay over the Indy Race weekend, the hotel was staffed with English speaking personnel who were very helpful and extremely courteous. The room was very clean and the turndown service was a nice touch. Location of the hotel near Paulista Avenue was ideal because of the walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Very safe area too.
I would certainly stay at the hotel again.

Service is excellent and the staff team is courteous, knowledgeable and always prompt to help. The hotel has a good infrastructure, the rooms are very clean and located at a very convenient and good neighborhood in Sao Paulo. The ambassador program is very good and has a good value.

Experienced terrible internet connectivity in room during two separate stays with weak signal and frequent disconnects. Had to visit Starbucks across the street to get reasonable internet access. Hotel staff apparently contacted internet service provider, but there was no improvement.
Good location, but this hotel has a small lobby/bar area compared to most other Intercontinental hotels.

The staff worked together as a team. They anticipated our needs. Special kudo's to Agata and Jeferson they were amazing. The staff was helpful but not pushy. The presentation of the restaurant, lobby, and room was perfection.

Hotel is well located. Shows signs of aging, despite renovations work. Pool is pathetic. Rooms are ok. Housekeeping could be improved but not really worse than at other hotels in Brazil. Restaurant was closed for renovation during my stay. All concierge staff were excellent and of great help during my stay. No smoking facilities. Not much fun to smoke at 50-dollar cigar in the rain in front of the hotel.

I spent New Year's Eve Dinner and stayed one night at this Hotel, in two rooms, with my wife and two kids. Dinner was splendid, great food and service.
Had a delay of 3 hours for my children's room check-in, available only around 6pm, altough could get mine one hour earlier from check-in time, which was good.
No service at swiming pool.
Breakfast was terrible. No table available, no cups, lacking many foods at the buffet. Looks like hotel didn't plan properly the amount of people working for the amount of rooms booked for that night.
Rooms were very nice.
Gym is also very good.

The hotel is well located and in a very convenient area. The club lounge is well services and lovely decor. The only two points would be the room rate is too high and the rooms are in need of modernisation. But a great hotel with great staff.

I was greeted by name each time I passed the Front Desk, recognized as a Priority Club member, upgraded to a nicer room than I booked, and feted with room service fruit bowl. Nice touches all round!
Also, very convenient for MASP and the subway. Good restaurants nearby.

I have been regularly in the Intercontinental hotel in Sao Paulo for the past 4 years and I have always got an excellent service, nice, efficient and non intrusive. Since the recent remodelling the rooms are now back to the luxury hotel class and modernity. The location in the middle of the Jardin district makes it very efficient for meetings in this business area.
To note that the personalized checking at the 20th floor is quite nice and efficient when you are in a hurry. Also the club lounge allows for comfortable meetings or break with a coffee.
A French staying about every 6 weeks in the hotel

The breakfast is so completed and delicious.
