We stayed at this hotel for one night, as wedding gift from a friend.
The room was lovely and the hotel had prepared some wine, cake and a wedding card for us, which we both thought was very lovely gesture.
Right from the beginning one thing that surprised us was the service, which was very poor. When checking in we were given no real information about the facilities at the hotel. We weren't told how to get to our room, so we spent 10 minutes trying to find the right lift, but gave up in the end and asked somebody.
We had access to the club lounge, but were not informed of the operating hours, as we tried to access the club lounge that evening around 8:45 and it was closing, which would have been nice to know before hand. We also weren't told we needed a different key card to access the club lounge, so we couldn't even get in at first. We had to ring the bell and the member of staff in the club lounge had to give us a new card. The same goes for the restaurants, as we were also too late for the wine buffet. Considering this is supposed to be a 5 star hotel, surely we should have been told about what is on offer. In the end we went out for dinner.
When checking out I asked for a comments card, but we were told they are in the room. Again, there was no real warmth from the staff and they really didn't seem to care. One thing that really disappointed us was the lack of eye contact when we were being spoken to. This was especially evident during check in.
Overall the hotel is lovely, but we felt the staff were unhelpful and seemed rather arrogant.

We would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to the hotel staffs with our stay in the last weekend.
We stayed 3 nights with the hotel and my wife had an urgent situation at the very last night and needed medical treatment.
It was already after midnight, we called the front desk and then she transferred the line to the duty manager. He asked our situation and then suggested us to go local hospital for a faster medical treatment.
With the understanding on our problems in language and local medical systems, He also sent a GREAT staff to accompany us.
The accompanying hotel staff is a GREAT man who not only helped us in the translation but also listened our problem carefully and provided adequate suggestions with the immediate situations. In fact, we visited 2 hospitals and one 24 hours pharmacy that night!!! We did believe other hotel staffs were also helping us in behind at office as the staff kept checking on information with the hotel over mobile throughout our situation.
My wife got treatment eventually and symptoms relieved a bit after medication.
A simple "Thank you" were definitely not enough so we decided to write an appreciation letter to the duty manager, accompanying staff and all other hotel staffs.
Apart from this incident, all hotel staffs were also great. Starting from the warm welcome in the IHG member center, helping to book day-tour from their information desk and great helps in writing addresses in Korean to taxi drivers from concierge staffs, all brought us a very very good memory to stay with this hotel.
We highly recommend this hotel to all for their great location and more important for their GREAT staffs!!!
