Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great stay as always. When I am in Shanghai I always stays at Intercontinental Pudong. The location is perfect, the staff is very service minded and make you feel like home. The food is always a plessure here and the lounge is a great place to hang out for a short meeting or some time of to enjoy. 15 December 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Inconsistent service level, lack of apology and no attention to details 1. Somehow I did not receive any welcome letter for greeting me as both a Royal Ambassador loyal member and Club Intercontinental guest in this specific stay. Yet on the contrary, I did receive these 2 letters for all of my previous stays with this particular hotel (so far 49 nights this calendar year!) after I achieved the Royal Ambassador status. Inconsistent level of service on offer. 2. I had two colleagues joining me for buffet breakfast on 3 Dec 2014. I was told by one of the ground floor restaurant staff members that my room only had 2 breakfasts included and I would need to pay for 1 extra which I said OK. However another staff member gave me a bill to pay which was at a cost of more than CNY 250 inclusive. I instantly responded this is not the rate plan applicable to my room which should be CNY 120 inclusive. She went back, checked and came again with a new bill. I signed in the absence of her apology which is believed utterly arrogant. When I left I enquiried the supervisor-alike lady at the entrance for this noticeable operational mistake. No apology was made either. Is this the genuine Shanghainese hospitality? 3. I found a sealed envelope on the carpet of my room at the night of 4 Dec 2014 for Express Checkout when I entered my room (I don't know why the envelope could not be put on the desk, for my previous stay they did the same). Bill only showed 2 nights of stay to be paid (3 and 4 Dec 2014 plus the 1 extra breakfast) although I checked in on 30 Nov 2014. I found this considerably misleading and therefore made an enquiry to Jessica when I did the check-out at front desk on 5 Dec 2014. She did apologise for the bill incorrectness and I paid 5 nights of my stay in full by credit card, along with the unforgettable breakfast item as well. 14 December 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 中规中矩 客房区的中空穹顶是洲际的标志之一,依然非常令人眩目。酒店客房的空凋温度开到最高,才觉得温暖。客房装修一般,客用品毛巾偏旧。酒店餐饮值得推荐,早餐非常丰富、中餐厅业非常好。 13 December 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 舒适的体验,冬天里的温暖。 已经不止一次入住上海锦江汤臣洲际大酒店从一个冬天到另一个冬天。唯一不变的是酒店服务员热情的服务,发自内心的微笑,给初冬的上海增加一丝暖意。 特别要赞的是行政酒廊的几位服务员,真的给人一种宾至如归的感觉。 12 December 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 位置适中,交通便利,管理优秀,无可挑剔 多次入住上海汤臣洲际酒店,酒店前台员工、餐厅及行政楼员工、楼层服务员、礼宾等均服务热情周到!客房设计方正,人性化设施便利,卫生及服务细节到位,无可挑剔。靠近世纪大道及复兴路隧道路口,出行便利,位于陆家嘴,接近商务中心,办事方便。酒店中餐厅及行政廊均是商务会谈及宴客的好地方。是出差、旅游的首选酒店。 11 December 2014
