Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by My Fourth Stay The location is pretty good. A 10 minute cab ride to the underground market and lots to see and eat in the local area. A block away are some nice mini supermarkets for avoiding the minibar charges. Buffet in the hotel is good. A/C in the room not so cold but is typical for the region. The bar is overpriced for a Tsingtao bottle (3.1%, not even 3.2 beer) twice a typical standard hotel price, Carlsberg and Stella drafts about 2.5 times the price. Doesn't take long to burn out the expense report. The local markets sell tall boys at 10 cans for the Tsingtao price. The company rate is so good, it is the place to stay complete with free breakfast. Also the hotel tailor is very good. 28 May 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Old hotel without much improvement The room is old and small. You can always hear person talking at level 3 ballroom. During my stay, they are having wedding dinner and the guest stay til late night. The noise is so loud that I am unable to focus on my work. The design of the room is bad with some kind of smell. 21 May 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Many thanks to Chief Concierge - Chief Concierge Tim and his colleagues, terry etc. are really helpful and problem solvers, thats the main reason i come back to live in IHG Shanghai pudong. - The staff in business centre are kind of hopeless... and totally helpless!!!!!! - Reception need to be more friendly and helpful in talking with customers? - All in all people working there have service mind, kind and flexible. 15 May 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Regrettable and only "salvaged" by Great Service at Club Intercontinental Being a Platinum member (supposedly the highest level in the IHG tier) does not provide free access to the Club Intercontinental level. This does not make members feeling very privilege at all!!!! Terrible especially when compared to similar status in other competitor group. The facility and facade of the hotel is seemingly very old. The gym is only decent in size with some aged equipment. The "swimming pool" is more like a large tub and no way to do any proper lap swimming. (the fact that it is clearly stated that the gym is managed by external vendor does not devoid the fact and owner with IHG) 13 May 2014

The reception is nice and helpful, the room is not as spacious as InterContinental at Puxi but still reasonable. 13 May 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 非常完美的体验 五一期间汤臣价格是相当的实惠,而且有积分包价促销。 由于当天是休息天,也没啥事就早早的到前台check in。行政酒廊主管lilian很热情的帮我们办理入住,看到我们带了小孩主动免费帮我们安排加床,并主动招呼我们酒廊用早餐,酒廊的Samantha更是热情周到的为我们服务。被感动到了。。 07 May 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A home away from home I booked a Club level room for a long stay and I'm glad I did. The room was a nice size, the towels incredibly soft, and the bed very comfortable. The Oriental House restaurant had excellent food and service. Service needs were taken care of promptly. The hotel is in a great location near many good restaurants and a few minute walk to a central subway hub. The Club Lounge has a great happy hour(s) with good drinks and a wide variety of food. Most importantly though was the wonderful staff in the Club Lounge. They are all well trained, very professional yet very friendly. Every one of them gave me a warm welcome and goodbye every time I was there even after being a guest for many weeks. And they always tried to find time to have a brief chat with me when they were not too busy which is great for someone like me who is travelling alone. I was actually sorry to leave but look forward to my next visit. 03 May 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 大床不舒适 大床很不舒适,明显是两张床拼的,一高一低,睡在中间的感觉非常不好!!! 洗澡淋浴的水温很难调,不是热就是冷!!!淋浴房的门推进去竟然和花洒相擦。浴巾陈旧。我住的是六楼的房间。 早饭、网络还算说的过去。 30 April 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Mixed Experience First and foremost, used their car service from Hongqiao... I am very appreciative that the driver respected speed limits and even when his phone rang at least five times during the drive he never answered it, nice new clean car as well. Check in missed the Ambassador status, had to return to lobby to ask for room upgrade. They generously gave me a nice suite, and ambassador gift. On the down side, no fruit, and also wasn't sure about the water. In Beijing the complimentary waters were labeled as such so it was easy to know which ones were provided as a benefit. A little noisy in the morning but very close to subway station. 21 April 2014

Especially the staff in the Executive Lounge are always smiling and even remember your choice of beverage from one day to another. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel and Staff Hotel in a good location not to far from city centre. Staff where very friendly and welcomed me as platinum member. Hotel is in a good condition but you can tell that it is an older building. Room in an excellent condition and cleaned well. If you have a fear of heights then you may be put off with the glass elevators and the open balcony walkways to the rooms. 20 April 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Room Climate Rooms a comfortable but have one drawback. Air conditioning is limited and during night hours beds are getting too warm. The blankets are cosy but too warm for the relatively too warm rooms. I always take the blanket out of the cover and sleep under the covers alone. For a hotel like this it is not acceptable. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent suite First, the hotel deputy manager came to greet me and provided access to the Lounge, which is a very nice place and well served with snacks and drinks. The hotel suite that was assigned to me and my wife is one of the best I ever had at the Intercontinental chain. Large, with a big bathroom, good working space, well decorated, with a good bed and pillows. The staff was very kind and courteous. 19 April 2014

They provide not only great service with very professional manner, but also see the hotel guess as a personal friends that give all their best guidance. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 犹如家人的关怀照顾 虽然浦东ic硬老了。但是对于常客服务真的很好。我有3个月没去了。前台还是立刻认出来我并打招呼。非常温馨。ra选了套房随口提了下应酬可能要延迟。入住后房间里马上接到电话说这次依旧给我行政待遇现在可以先去酒廊吃点东西顺便等。酒廊食物服务依旧优秀! 14 April 2014
