Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good staff and good location Check in a very good experience. Room clean and good ambiance . Young lobby waitress didn't have much of a clue. Waited 25 minutes for first drink order to be delivered. I beckoned girl and she ran in the other direction. Finally delivered wine, half poured, left bottle ( only ordered 1 glass) and ran off. Senior waitress later apologised when she saw bottle. We didn't consider event other than a possible one off. Concierge and doorman very good. 18 April 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful Hotel, centrally located Super convenient. Located right above the Bugis Junction MRT Station. Taxi from airport to hotel costs about SGD18-22 (one way). Bugis Junction is joint with several shopping arcades, where I can find many fashion stores, ISETAN dept store, hair salons, supermarket (Cold Storage), at least 2 food courts, and many other different types of restaurants / cafes. Across the street, you can find hawker food centers and stores located in walking street. Singapore National Library is just located opposite to the hotel. It took me 20 min walk from the hotel to Boat Quay & Clark Quay for great food. 5 min walk to Raffles Hotel. 10 Min walk to SunTech City. This location beats Orchard Road. 17 April 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A magnet that keeps drawing us back We have stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel Singapore a number of times and keep getting drawn back there. It is our bolt hole when we need time away from the cares of the world. Apart from being well situated next to the Bugis Centre, the hotel is a haven of peace both for the business visitor or tourist. You are always assured of a warm welcome by friendly, professional staff who go out of their way to ensure you have a memorable stay. Rooms are clean, comfortable, quiet and well appointed. My advice if you have any doublets about staying here is to give it a try. You will not be disappointed. 16 April 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good business hotel Nice property, good location with shopping and MRT access. Breakfast if included is convenient. Staff is friendly and accomodating. Fitness center badly needs updating, which is the one con that keeps me from unequivocally recommending this hotel if a good gym is a priority, I'm a IHG platinum member but didn't seem to get much in terms of additional benefits at this hotel. 13 April 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Oasis in the mayhem This centrally located hotel was so peaceful and quiet one hardly realised it was linked to a shopping mall.The food in the Olive Tree and service was wonderful we wish we had stayed longer to sample food in the other two restaurants. We could not have a late check out but were directed to the health club to shower before leaving late afternoon - don't bother the facilities are basis and it was like a sauna we did not feel at all refreshed. Perhaps the hotel should consider having a transit room to hire on an hourly basis so you can leave refreshed. The Concierge desk and doormen were wonderful and knowledgeable and helped us get the best from our very short stay. 11 April 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by 飯店價格高檔,但服務感覺並沒有高檔 事先有寫Email詢問是否可以延遲退房,客服回答需視房間狀況而定,然而前一晚入住的Holiday Inn卻是很爽快的答應。雖然飯店政策確實明顯告知需視當天入住情況而定,但不免讓人心裡覺得有差異。 此外,我約一個月前就已經預訂,本來以為房間應該都會準備好了,但當天辦理入住登記時,櫃檯人員才在努力尋找房間;同時,在預訂時有要求希望能安排入住高樓層,但是在沒有事先準備房間的情況下,臨時要找當然找不到,最後只安排入住在六樓! 感覺服務並未完全... 同時,雖然只是IHG的Club會員,但是前一晚的Holiday Inn很貼心的給了一封顧客關懷信。雖然沒什麼大不了,但相較之下,身為IHG集團最高等級的Intercontinental Hotel,服務竟然與一般飯店無太大差異,深感失望! 09 April 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Stay Everything is Fine, except during my arrival, it appears that the Hotel DID NOT MIND my request for connecting rooms (coz of my kids). Me and my family were made to wait for some time before some arrangement were made. Maybe its just a communications problem with the reservation and the Front desk staff. Hotel facilities is very nice, location is commendable. My kids says: Breakfast is good (next time please provide baguette) 09 April 2014

Structurally the hotel is what you'd expect from an Intercontinental hotel, very clean rooms, great beds and pillows and top of the line amenities. The staff of the hotel is friendly, knowledgeable and really make an effort to make you feel at home. At the moment they have a stellar management staff. The general manager is a superb hospitality expert, Michael B. the rooms director is a rising star in the organization, guest relations managers and duty managers are committed professionals with one goal in mind, making our stay as comfortable as possible. Ms. Jess Y. is a mega star. I definitely recommend this hotel as a preferred Singapore destination. I look forward to many more years of doing business with this hotel and the Intercontinental brand. 07 April 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great location and friendly staff The hotel is connected to Bugis Junction and it took 5 minutes walk from my room to MRT. There is a market and food centre opposite to the hotel. Two large shopping arcades nearby. We had been offered the signature room which was spacious, clean and with comfy beds, though we needed to walk to the other wing going through some stairsteps. Staff in the reception, corridor or even in the swimming pool are really polite and friendly. I enjoyed the stay in this hotel. The only downside was a concierge whom I met on the first day of stay that he didn't want to serve me and kept talking on the phone. There was also a lady queuing behind me. Then after a few minutes, a female staff rushed to the desk but she talked to the lady and simply ignored me! 07 April 2014

I found that this hotel has a very comfortable pillow and bedding. based on my experience, this is one of the most comfortable hotel I ever stayed. I had a very good sleep quality in this hotel. anyway, beside the marvellous historic architecture, this hotel is strategicly located in Bugis area. you can just shop by opening the hotel door. if possible, I would like to stay in this hotel again in the future. 06 April 2014

Over pass 2 years I observed the service is getting below expectation of Intercontinental brand. The room house keeping often forgets items and my last stay, the room has a fishy smell that was covered up by strong air fresher. That made it worst. Since I try to stay in there 4 years ago, I never want to move to other hotel when I go back to Singapore. Intercontinental SIngapore always make me feels like back to home when I stay in their room. the service and staff was excellent, the staff was really nice and helpfull. beside all of it the location of the hotel that near with the market and also bugis junction and of course the MRT make me so happy and love to be there. I love when the moon cake season come, cause the moon cake from Intercontinental Singapore was my favorite. i always love and cant wait to be back and stay there again. when I dreaming about Intercontinental Singapore I dream about home... 03 April 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Could of been good We stayed one night in this hotel. Our first impression was wow! The room was beautifully laid out and very clean. The staff were attentive and helpful. We decided to have a coffee in the lounge it was the most expensive coffee I have come across. $12 sing When we returned to our room late at night we tried to have a shower but the tap did not work. Only hot water. We had a bath instead. We got to bed. They had a super soft pillow top underlay. Unfortunately too soft. We decided to remove it. That's ok. Our choice. The only problem was the mattress underneath was tired and sagging. If we were staying longer we would of complained about the shower and the bed but we didn't want to have to shift rooms late at night. Overall the hotel is great but for the money we paid we don't feel that we had the best experience. 01 April 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Lovely hotel with great location. We checked into the hotel at 2:30 AM. The gentleman at the front desk was very welcoming and acknowledged my Ambassador status. We had a lovely shop house room on the 2nd floor with easy access to the Club Lounge. We spent 7 days and enjoyed the Club Lounge with wonderful daily breakfasts, afternoon tea and cocktails each evening. While the serving staff was very friendly however when we entered the Club we were never acknowledged by name. In fact on our first morning, at breakfast, no one even asked our name or room number when we entered. I found this most unusual from my experience at other Club Lounges. I must say that the furniture in the lounge is so uncomfortable that very few people sit on it. Way too deep. It seems everyone would vie for a table with chairs. I am used to comfy lounge chairs and sofas. We ate at Man Fu Yuan and the food and service was excellent. We tried the Olive Tree once but found the setting to be tired looking and the food mediocre. However our waiter was very friendly. All in all we enjoyed our first visit to Singapore. 31 March 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Needs to have a facelift The first experiences of the hotel upon arrival were great, really friendly staff at reception and concierge, but then it went down hill. The rooms even though i had a double upgrade were old, the duvet cover had a rip in it and the hand towels were fraying. The gym was a joke, really old machines that were held together with electrical tap, also the staff did not acknowledge you at all. Then there is the lobby bar and restaurant two of the worse experiences i have had, the service was rubbish. it felt as if this was a training hotel with plenty of new recruits but very little experience on the floor. and the Buffet was not worth the price as well as the decor is old and tacky. The main saving grace was the club lounge the staff were great and understood what service was and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. 30 March 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Unbelievable Staff The intercontinental is my preferred choice of hotel in Singapore. I normally stay for long periods with business but would highly recommend it for holiday makers and stopovers too. It's colonial decor and ambience give for a nice experience away from plastic and glitz you get at a lot of hotels. However it is the staff that make the stays here so pleasurable.....from the moment they take your luggage from you until the time you leave there is nothing but friendliness, helpfulness and an eagerness to please. From early morning to late evening, the breakfast room to the club lounge, a quiet drink in the Victoria bar or one of the restaurants everyone aims to please and the service is excellent. I would love to praise names personally but that would be unfair to everyone else such is the high standard given and the commitment to give unparalleled service. The hotel has a nice pool area and good gym to relax or work out at. It's ideally situated in the famous Bugis area of town with lots to see and do and plenty of restaurants and bars locally. 30 March 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent with great customer service After a shock that our booking was for the wrong day our error, we were quickly found a room, we had booked a reward night upgraded to a club room, unfortunately there was no reward nights available so we had to pay the full rate. However the stay was excellent the staff throughout the hotel are extremely friendly and professional . The room although not large was very comfortable with a huge bed soft large white towels, complimentary fruit and water. We enjoyed using the club room with afternoon tea, cocktail hour with delicious horses d'oeuvres Singapore slings , only complaint the seating is not very comfortable if you are there for any length of time. We used the facility after checking out until we needed to leave for the airport. The pool on the fourth floor is a wonderful haven with large pool towels and plenty of lounges. I was surprised however it was not accessable if you had any mobility problem.. 29 March 2014

Staff are very attentive and new King shophouse rooms are lovely. Club lounge evening drinks and canapés a nice touch as is the breakfast in the lounge. Sure the selection may be limited than if you were to dine in the main restaurant but there is still plenty of choice and you are not queuing for anything. 28 March 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Everything functions perfectly Our stay at the IC in Singapore was memorable because every aspect of our stay was handled smoothly and perfectly. From the check in after an overnight flight, to the quality of the room, to the services (breakfast, laundry, WiFi, the pool and the lounges and bar), to the final wake up call and taxi waiting for us 4:30 am. We were consistently greeted by name and all staff were completely dedicated to doing a great job. And they did! Thank you for a wonderful visit to Singapore. 26 March 2014

The staff at check-in greeted us with a warm genuine smile and they were so helpful, especially Jess.
