Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Welcoming Staff , toilet shower neede The staff in the club lounge is fantastic. They are very welcoming and aware of our requirements. We stayed in room 1301. The room is large but the curtains do not completely shield the morning light. It disturbs the sleep. Also the toilets need to have a toilet shower/bidet. This is convenient and eco friendly.. i think it is an important reuirement 23 December 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Impeccable Services and the Best Royalty Program I haven't been to this hotel for about five years although I have been visiting Singapore frequently. My family decided to stay here for one night since we were attending a concert, and the location was key factor. In addition, we've got a great rate on our room. Being an Intercontinental Ambassador member, check-in was smooth and fast. Our room rate didn't include breakfast, but we were offered for two breakfasts, complimentary 24-hour Wi-Fi up to 4 devices, AND late check-out at 4 pm. And most importantly, we were upgraded to a Junior Suite. I am also a member of Hyatt Gold Passport and SPG, but Intercontinental's Ambassador program offers the best services and products for its members. Its annual membership fee is USD 150, but if you travel frequently, both for business and leisure, it is worth every penny of it. You get guarantee room upgrades, late check-out, free in-house movie and so on. And you get one night complimentary weekend voucher. When we got into our room, complimentary two bottles of Evian and fruits were awaiting for us. It has been a while, but the room was kept well maintained and every details were attended. We were also happy to see that breakfast at the Olive Tree has been extended. Everything was delicious and well presented. We were traveling with 5-year old daughter, so the adjacent Bugis Junction was convenient. There are McDonald's, Cold Storage (super market), Food Court, Cinemas etc. This hotel is perfect for family and for corporate clients if you are attending exhibitions at the Suntec City or Marina Bay Sands, which are nearby. 22 December 2013

Overall an all right experience Pros: (1) Recognised as platinum member (2) Late Check out (3) Complimentary Birthday gift for the girlfriend (4) Complimentary drinks at the bar Cons: (1) Was allowed to check in only at 130pm when I clearly stated I will arrive before 12pm (2) Had to call guest relations 3 times to enquire about the gift package for my girlfriend. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Relaxing and well appointed location This is a new experience as my family and I have not explored this part of Singapore. It turns out to be the perfect getaway for us to relax, enjoy a variety of food and a spot of shopping. The hotel decor is very pleasing and comfortable. If there is one thing to recommend for improvement would be that the coffee service is rather slow compared to everything else. We will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. 18 December 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Home Away from Home It was so pleasant to return to the Intercontinental Singapore and discover that the high standards experienced on our last trip were actually surpassed this time around. The Hotel provides a very comfortable environment complimented by extremely efficient and pleasant staff. When one adds the excellent food, comfortable bar area and the gym, then the total package becomes an industry winner. Whether for business or leisure travel I would recommend this hotel. 18 December 2013

While I still want a little more varieties for breakfast buffet, this hotel is great in terms of location, service quality, and reasonable price. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Place This is one of the few hotels in Singapore that has smoking rooms! Well worth the price. Same as almost all the l5 star hotels in Singapore. If you are going to spend a lot a day on a room you should be able to smoke in it. Food is great the beds are comfy and they have a large shower and soaker tub in the bathroom. Close to all attractions and easy to get to from the airport. I would recommend this hotel for smokers especially. 16 December 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great location, friendly staffs The 3 nights stay were good. However on one of those days, the hotel was used for a conference. So, the place was a bit crowded. There was a fresh paint smell in the room as well, not sure if it comes from the hallway or from the room next door. It was quite irritating. 16 December 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Brilliant Staff Before booking the Intercontinental I spent several hours researching the many hotels in Singapore. My husband and I were not disappointed with my choice because from check-in to check-out we were treated as honoured guests by the brilliant staff and we enjoyed our stay immensely. We stayed in an executive room which we thought was very good value as it included entrance into the Club Lounge and gave us access to the great food and cocktails etc which were available as part of the cost of the room. The location of the hotel was very convenient as it allowed us to walk to many of the areas we wanted to visit. All the staff we came into contact with were extremely knowledgeable and proud of the hotel which I think gives rise to the great customer service they provide. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. 13 December 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pre Christmas Break We have just had 5 days in Singapore, with friends staying at the Intercontinental Hotel. It is our 3rd time there but this time we chose the Club Intercontinental Room. The experience was such a treat. As always all the staff on all levels are a delight to deal with. We felt very spoilt indeed and on the last night of our stay there was a personal note left by Jana with Christmas carols playing on the Cd, a small Christmas tree with flashing lights and some beautiful biscuits. A very happy stay indeed we hope to be back next year with some more friends in tow. 12 December 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Why stay elsewhere? I visit Singapore about three times a year and always stay at the Intercontinental. The location is excellent, with the MRT on the doorstep and many places just a pleasant walk away. Hotels are expensive in Singapore and so the Intercontinental represents good value for the quality of experience that you get. Stay in a club room if you can. The Club Lounge is excellent, serving breakfast, tea and evening cocktails. Ms Jana and her team get to know club guests and offer an extremely high level of service. 11 December 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A Few Days in Singapore I decided to take a short trip to Singapore and wanted to experience a new 5* hotel this time. I choose the InterContinental for my stay. Great hotel, great location, wonderful staff.... If I were to have a comment it would be that the latest check out time was 14:00 hrs. I had a flight departing at minding and was hoping for a few additional hours. But, this is a minor comment... There is a good chance I will choose this hotel again, and if not it would be a hotel in the IHG group. 11 December 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great service I stayed in the Club Shophouse. The room was huge and nicely decorated. Comfy king size bed. But it was quite a walking distance to the lift as the room is located in the other building. Staff in the club lounge were very friendly and helpful. Had breakfast and dinner at Olive tree and the lobby lounge. Fair spread of food variety. In the center of a few Shopping malls, there are lots of restaurants, cinemas and MRT is within walking distance, which is very convenient . I will greatly recommend this place 09 December 2013

The staff are excellent, The club lounge is great with good hor d'oeuvres during the evening happy hour. In some rooms the beds are positioned such that the air conditioning blows directly on to you making it difficult to achieve a comfortable sleeping environment. The massive let down is the near non-existent wi-fi. There has been no improvement in the past 3 years. In fact it has got worse. I am seriously considering my choice of Singapore hotel as a result. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent service, staff, food and comfort will ensure that I return I have thoroughly enjoyed my various stays at the Singapore Intercontinental basically because of the outstanding staff. I cannot think of many other organisations that really ensure that their customers have a truly wonderful experience. The warm welcomes and helpful assistance from the staff at the door, through reception, the Ambassador's lounge and from all the dining and general hotel staff cannot be faulted. The decor, food and rooms are of a very high standard. I love Singapore for many reasons and the Intercontinental is the icing on the cake! 06 December 2013

Very 'commercialize services'. My wife was asked to change from slipper to a so call more proper shoes? It was 6.30am Sunday morning. Do u expect us to wear a proper dress code just to have a Sunday breakfast? I do understand if we are required to have a proper dress code if we are attending for a lunch or dinner. But not 6.30am for a Sunday breakfast! I have been to different Intercontinental hotel in various countries, but the services in Singapore really disappointed me. I do believe there's always room for improvement. I am preparing to stay over this coming 7&8 of Dec. hopefully I get a 'service from the heart' . I do give credit to the hotel car jocky excellent services and friendly. 06 December 2013

The Club Lounge particularly is great, and worth the supplement. Oh, and the location is great too - adjacent to an MRT station, and easy walking to the CBD as well as tourist areas, Highly recommended. 04 December 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by unacceptable behavior being treated this way is simply not acceptable and should be reported. no service at check-in, nobody to show the way to the rooms or take the luggage, rooms not like on pictures (only somme refurbished) but the worst was being trotted with racism from the manager on duty! I'm surprised that Intercontinental does accept such attitude. Extremely disappointed and angry 03 December 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 5 star in every way from the staff to the quality of my sleep! Absolute loved my stay at Singapore Intercontinental. The staff were an absolute pleasure to deal with and were more than helpful whenever we were dealing with them, they are an absolute credit to their hotel! I have stayed in many luxury hotels but the bed in our deluxe room was one of the very best - absolutely fantastic! The pillow menu on offer made the sleep experience even more bespoke and comfortable. The location is great with the MRT station in the adjoining shopping centre and raffles is just down the road so you can get your Singapore sling fix too. Will definitely be staying here again next time I visit! 03 December 2013
