Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Unique Singapore Hotel After 4 weeks travelling Europe, we thoroughly enjoyed our 5 nights at this hotel. We don't like to wake up and feel you could be in any hotel in the world. This Peranakan styled hotel, gives you a truly Singapore experience. The staff are typically Singaporean, friendly, caring and helpful. It is well positioned and it is a true pleasure to stay there. 11 June 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best hotel bed ever. This hotel was fantastic. We were given an upgrade on arriving in an exhausted state, and from then on the comfort and service were faultless. Yout staff are a credit to Intercontinental Hotels, and the Club Floor was definitely worth the little extra. 10 June 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fabulous Room We have stayed here many times and luckily always in a Shophouse. These rooms are wonderfully spacious and the bed is so comfortable that it is difficult to get up each morning. Very highly recommend this hotel. 10 June 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Big Room, Amenities Not Complete Good value for the location and brand. Rooms are nice and large, with the usual in-room facilities. Bathroom lacks shaver set. Sink clogs up and it is obvious enough that the chamber staff would notice it during cleaning if they run the water for 5 seconds. Overall pleasant stay and good value for money. 09 June 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by very decent and elegant hotel - especially loved the tea in the lobby lounge! very good, and unique offer among other hotels. - very comfortable bed, very good sleep. - cleanliness was excellent! great house keeping. - excellently well taken care of when leaving to the airport from the hotel - check in experience was unhappy, staff told me there was no single bed room, and insisted to put me into a twin bed room, even I have made the reservation 2 weeks ahead and have made clear I was going to be a solo traveler. (they in the end gave me a single bed room however..) - the lady who checked me in was very arrogant and didn't seem to be patient and pleased with her job. - house keeper left two cleaning wipers in my good 07 June 2013

The food menu can do with few more indian items but overall if you are a non-vegetarian you will survive. 07 June 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pleasant overall experience Great location. One of the hotel entrances opens into the Bugis junction mall where you can find food and stuff. Also within walking distance is the outdoor hawker center opposite Bugis Plus mall. Comfortable room. I stayed at the usual deluxe room. I like that the door opens into a nice marbled foyer before you step into the room. The bathroom is spacious and comfortable for this type of room. Bed is really comfortable. I hit the bed at 12am and next thing I knew it was 7am. The view from the room is average but then again, view was not my priority. Oh and when laying in bed, I was able to see the disco lights from the One altitude club. Staff. The staff I encountered at check in and check out were the same. They were polite, courteous and most importantly professional. The housekeeping staff was good too. This stay made my last day in Singapore great before my 20 hour flight home. I highly recommend this hotel. 06 June 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great swimming pool for children We spent 6 nights at the Intercontinental, Singapore with our two children 10 and 7. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the children really enjoyed the lovely swimming pool. The hotel is well located centrally, close to transport, markets and opening into the Bugis mall. For hotels in the area with swimming pools (not many and pools are a must for children in the Singapore heat) the Intercontinental offered surprisingly low prices. It will be our first choice if we return to Singapore. 04 June 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Happy Memories I changed my hotel to stay here as the location was better, the whole of Singapore accessible by just stepping outside the door. The staff were very friendly especially the ones in the Excl club lounge who always had a smile on their face and nothing was too much trouble. I will be back 03 June 2013

This was our first stay in Singapore and we found the hotel to be in a great location . The service offered from the staff was always helpful and friendly and the rooms where beautiful and clean, the beds where amazing! This made for a memorable stay and we would definitely return. 29 May 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful experience from planning to departure! I booked the hotel through the website and received a pleasant "Introduction" email from the concierge. Since we were arriving around midnight, I then emailed the hotel directly to see if I could both confirm late arrival as well as schedule transportation from the airport. I received prompt replies back confirming both. Upon arrival we were met just as we exited the plan and had a helpful gentleman escort us through passport control and customs. He then took us to a waiting car with cold water and internet waiting to take us to the hotel (as we left I noticed the long line if people waiting for taxis). We arrived at the hotel and within minutes were on our way up to the upgraded room - lovely and roomy. We only stayed two nights but took advantage of the club floor's hearty breakfast and helpful concierge. I recommend this hotel highly and if we return to Singapore, we will most certainly return! 29 May 2013

But I can warmly recommend the hotel also because of the great staff, so friendly and helpful! For example Your Guest Relations Manager on duty during my stay, she is so nice and sweet, beautiful both inside and outside! I stay at hotels around the world 4-15 nights every month, both for work and pleasure, and I really enjoyed staying at Your hotel. I hope to be able to stay there soon again! 26 May 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very good condition, but need to walk to room so long Room condtion was quite good and servcie for member is quite good. but my family told that The room is quite far from Elevetor and need to use some steps (Not flat condition from Elvetor to floor), my wife and daughter has many things to carry, it is not convenience for us. The Number of food at Members louge is not so much and need to be improved at Breakfast time. 21 May 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Almost Perfect! I flew 21 hours from SFO through NAR to arrive SIN at 1am. The Staff was the most memorable. From my 2am arrival, when Kelvin and Farrah offered me the gym for a workout and shower until my room was ready; to the great service of breakfast servers Lily and Rachel; to the checkout know-how of Jess and Raj. All were fantastic. Other memorable elements are: 1. Quality and variety of breakfast 2. Firmness of the beds 3. Fantastic 'East Meets West' Lobby Lounge and music My one complaint is the coffee price in the lobby lounge is a singapore steal at S$12. It is not even that good and more than a wine. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel We enjoyed our stay at this hotel last weekend, it was our 20 year Anniversary and the staff made it very very special. I was also interested in the location and ease for Cruise Ship patrons to either embark or dis-embark their cruise voyage using the MRT train. We followed this path to the ship and back and now can openly recommend this hotel as a convenient establishment to stay for this purpose. I would highly recommend it. 19 May 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Relaxing weekend on a business trip The Intercontinental Hotel in Singapore is one of my favorite hotels in South-Asia. The staff is super friendly and care taking. Check-in, enjoy a drink in the Priority Lounge or in the bar and you will find out what I mean. The location of the hotel is perfect, easy to reach, close to a shopping mall and food corners and in walking distance to Clarke Quay. I will come back... for sure! 18 May 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 5 star hotel Our family recently stayed for 12 days at the Intercontinental in Singapore.This hotel was perfect for my husband who was there on business and for our children who were on a vacation. The accommodations couldn't have been better, the service by the staff and food in the restaurants were outstanding. Everyone was so helpful to us especially Swathi who worked in Concierge. This was our first trip and we really hope to be able to go again. Thank you very much for making our stay so enjoyable. 17 May 2013

Superb location with convenient access to shopping, food and public transport (MRT). The most memorable piece of my stay was the excellent customer service from the staff. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Pleasant comfortable stay This was just what I required for a two day stop over enroute back to Australia. As a priority rewards customer was upgraded to a suite which was extremely comfortable. The bed and bedding fantastic.Staff unfailingly helpful. Despite being a large hotel, there was an intimacy about it, partly because it does have a worn-in sort of vibe to it.This will require some attention soon but hopefully by not stripping away the homely elements.The Olive Tree Restaurant for breakfast was adequate if lacking in the right sort of atmosphere and does need some smartening up. Food choices pretty good though.All in all I would not hesitate to stay here again. 12 May 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Last Visit to Singapore The hotel staff seem very knowledgable, however when I arrived in the room, I was very shocked at the condition of the room for the name of the hotel and price. The carpet and the furniture covers were old and dingy. Even though when I booked my room on line, I included my wife name on the room, but upon arriving, they did not have her name on the list. These are small but noticeable things for a hotel of this name. The breakfast was great. When I arrived to check in, the attendant told me that Iwas receiving complimentary breakfast and internet. Wake-up. When I booked the room that was the options that I chosen and paid for, so it was not complimentary. Again, the staff and breakfast was great, but the room was definitely not worth the price that I expected. 10 May 2013
