Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by My first choice in Singapore All my stays at the intercontinental have been enjoyable . There is a reliable consistency in the level of service and comfort and it will remain my first choice of accommodation for business and leisure stays in Singapore. 20 March 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Level 2 - very poor wireless service I complained about this a number of times and I always stay at the Intercontinental Hotel, level 2 when I am in Singapore. I am seriously disappointed that after many stays in the hotel I cannot get decent Wireless on my Mobile Device or my laptop. 19 March 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by service orientated hotel in a good location My colleagues and I stayed at this hotel for nearly a week during our visit to Singapore. It is a great hotel with staff focused on service and customer satisfaction. Coordinating booking for 9 rooms was not easy, staff at hotel try to help our need. Check in at hotel was really quick and smooth, staff at front desk are the best in the hotel I have to say. I have been upgraded because my gold statue with priority club. Hotel strategically located in the heart of Singapore. Bugis shopping mall is connected with the hotel, Bugis Junction subway station is also part of the complex. It only cost 2 dollars from Airport by subway, amazing. Room is big, bed is comfortable and bathroom is renovated, but the hotel facilities in general are dated. Swimming pool is great on the roof top, Gym is small and dated, spa and sauna are part of changing room at gym. Service at lounge bar and breakfast restaurant are pretty average, really depends on who you get. Quality of breakfast is good but nothing great. Coffee is good and fresh squeezed juice are available but I did not discover until the third day. Breakfast at weekend seems less desirable than during the weekdays. Roti bread can hardly eat during weekend, rock hard! I reported to the hotel lobby manager and she took it very seriously, definitely the quality improved on next day. All in all it was very pleasant stay at this hotel, considering the service provided by the hotel in this unhappy society, I will definitely come back in the future. 18 March 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location, easy access to well known tourist places Great location, easy access to theaters, shopping, little india and arab street. The Club Lounge has very good facilities and friendly staff. Enjoyed the afternoon tea. 18 March 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Personal feedbacks Good location in Bugis, clean and well setting of the room. However, too little choices for breakfast and the mattress is too soft which in particular the mattress problem is the same as where I stayed in InterCon SZ. 15 March 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great place to stay Top hotel to stay in, all the staff are extremely helpful and polite. Hotel has retained the colonial atmosphere. it is located centrally with access to the MTR. Next time we are in Singapore we will not hesitate to return 11 March 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Offerings at the Club Lounge Has Deteriorated Stayed here several times. But realised that the offerings at the Club Lounge has gone down in terms of the quality of food, canapes offered during happy hour. Not value for money to pay extra for the Club Lounge. The staff service is still good. 10 March 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service, Good Breakfast, Decent Price The location was good for the price. It is possible to walk to Clark Quay (night party) and Marina Bay but most people will likely prefer the short taxi ride (5-6 blocks). There are many restaurtants varying from fast food to mid-high end dining that are within a block including a great Chinese market. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and very attentive to guests. The gym was good and actually included free weights. The bed was comfortable (most hotel beds are not) and the room was quiet at all hours (nice for those of us who travel for work and must work/sleep at odd hours). The price was higher than I would usually target but overall it was a good value. I will be staying at this hotel the next time I'm in Singapore. 08 March 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Decent room Victoria Bar bartenders were very graceful and attentive to customers. Concierge did good job in accommodating personal requests. Man Fu restaurant has amazing dishes and personalized my servings 08 March 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Totally Enjoyable Experience Having stayed in several different hotels in Singapore I can honestly say that my stay at the Singapore Inter-Continental was the best I have experienced. I had booked a Club Room which meant along with a wonderfully large and comfortable room came the benefits of the use of the Club Lounge which included separate Check In and Late Check Out, Breakfast, Afternoon Tea, Cocktails & Canapés. The level of service I encountered in all areas of the hotel was second to none and in particular all the staff who were in the Club Lounge showed wonderful levels of attentive and friendly service. I am a Priority Plus Card Holder and so whilst I prefer to stay at the hotels which are affiliated with this programme I know I would have been impressed by this property even if it had not been part of the programme. I will definitely return to this hotel on all my future stays to Singapore. Thank you very much 07 March 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel @ great location We truely enjoyed staying at the Intercontinental. Great room, very good bed, good service. Only I would suggest the FB service at the pool would be a bit faster, we had to wait quite long for our order. 07 March 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great experience and location at a good price I visit Singapore regularly. I've tried a few hotels in Singapore and prefer the Intercontinental Singapore for the quality of the property, excellent value, and great location adjacent to Bugis Junction (adjacent to the Bugis MRT station, great selection of restaurants, and excellent shopping) 28 February 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by The snacks in the lounge are very bad and every few days the same This Hotel wants to be a 5 Star Hotel, but it isn t . In comparison to Intercontinental Makati (Philllpines) and Vienna it has maybe 3 stars. 28 February 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Impeccable room and service and most memorable stay Misplaced my iPad in the dining area, went berserk looking for it, only to find it again at the end of the day ! Found n turned into the security. Will be returning for another weekend stay this Friday !! 27 February 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient location, helpful staff and very good value Had very nice time and enjoyed the hotel. Actually used the transit system several times since it is connected to the subway. The special package rate was great with BF etc. 17 February 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Elegant hotel, well trained staff This is an elegant hotel with wonderfull and friendly staff professional in its conduct. Bed was comfortable, breakfast splendid. The hotel is well positioned for shopping, eating and taxis are all around as well as the 5 minute walk to the MRT. 17 February 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Staff is not helpful at all We all are very disappointed staying at this hotel during our vacation in Singapore. We are a family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 kids, we checked in around 4pm on 8 Feb. The staff there offered a one bed room for us, we requested if they can help to check if any twin beds room available as one of daughter who's 4 was sick so we wanted to separate 2 kids. However the staff kept us waiting for more than 30mins and still can't get back to us any rooms available. We have to chase them up for 3 times for this, we finally got the answer like 45mins later that nothing they can do as hotel itself is over booked. We are pretty understand that our request is based on the availability of hotel and we must get what we want but honestly we don't feel the staff there did really help us at all. We did try to ask if any suggestions if no twin rooms available. Eg. Change room on 2nd day as we stay 3 nights in total but the staff even didn't check the booking and inmedate told us NO NO nothing they can do. End up we asked if they offer an extra bed in our room because of this situation ( one daughter is sick with high temperature), the staff kept saying it will have extra cost and haven't replied if it would work at this case. We are extremely disappointed with such services, we truly think we really seek for helps from your hotel and staff that moment. We never thought we will have NO any solutions or even suggestions from the international brand hotel and got the 1st reply as 'it will have extra cost' rather than it would / wouldn't work out for the hotel. We spent one hour to settle the arrangement and this is not acceptable no matter the staff replied a few times that it is a complimentary without any cost. The staff at the cafe is also not friendly, I would say most of them (female staff, remember one with glasses) love to be nice and helpful to the western tourists only but not for Hong Kong people like us. But the concerige staff is very helpful and thoughtful, we are appreciated for their great helps. We never made any complains to the hotel before but this is a very bad experience to us and we truly wanna explain our feeling to you. Thank you very much! 17 February 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed My wife and I stayed for one night in January to break-up the flight from Europe to Australia. When I made the reservation, I asked for a room on a high floor, so we'd have a view. When we checked in, I asked again for a room with a view, and was told that yes, absolutely, the room that we were assigned had a view of the pool. So, it was with some surprise and disappointment when I pulled back the curtains on our 4th-floor room to find a lovely view of a tall green wall about 8 feet from the window. No view of anything, at all... So thanks for that. Furthermore, for a five-star hotel, I thought the service was rather average, and the pool a bit small and none too exciting. On the plus side, the room was well decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable; however, in short, I doubt I will stay here again. 15 February 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Same old Same old! Been coming for 10 years to Singapore and stayed occasionally at the Intercontinental. It has become old and tired! Same old and tired look, same furniture, not up to par with other Intercontinental properties in Asia and for sure way behind some much better houses in Singapore! 12 February 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent lcation Stayed here for thee days after our cruise in Feb. 2013. We received excellent service and the bed was really comfortable. You can't beat the loocation for sshopping and food variety. The hotel is connected to a mall and is across the street from Bugis Street shopping stalls. I highly recmmend this hotel. 11 February 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic Hotel - Great Location We needed a Singapore hotel for two nights before our 1/20/13 cruise out of Singapore and one night at the conclusion of the cruise back in Singapore. Our choice of The Intercontinental Singapore was a great decision. We were easily able to walk to many of Singapore's attractions and shopping areas. Our two room assignments were lovely and the hotel staff was extraordinary in their care of us and always willing to assist with any questions or needs. I would highly recommend The Intercontinental Singapore. David 09 February 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great location, Excellent Service - but needs to improve its connectivity. I have been staying here for 15 years now on every trip to Singapore. This is a classic hotel with excellent staff and service, some of the rooms could do with an upgrade especially to include facilities such as phone chargers or to connect things like Ipads to the TV etc - these don't cost much but make a difference and are freely available in many hotels. One area which is well below standard is wifi connectivity, offered free - but the bandwith is lowest and the slowest I have seen in a hotel, anywhere in the world ! For 30 Dollars a day I can upgrade to a faster service - I don't think so. I can go next door to TCC have lunch use free wifi and all for much less than 30 dollars. In this day you need to provide efficient and fast wifi for business guests as a standard. I would prefer to sit in your lounge and buy lunch and coffee, but not if I cant work there. Also not a big issue but in 15 years I have never met the Hotel Manager, if I compare this to other hotels in Asia, where frequent guests are personally welcomed and "known" it is disappointing. Also if I arrive by car - there is no way I can charge the valet parking to my room ? Having said all that this is still one of my favourite hotels in the world, great staff and a great location - just work on your technology please ! 06 February 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed and great service I had again a very positive experience staying at Intercontinental Singapore. Excellent service, kind staff, clean room and a super comfortable bed, just as every year before. The breakfast buffet is something I dream of returning to, it is just perfect! It all feels like a luxury home, a dream come alive for a few days. 05 February 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A perfect stay in every way! From the moment we checked in, we felt we were special due to the personal care given by everyone at the hotel. That includes our interaction with the bell staff; the employees who figured out how to get a taxi for us when they were saying they were going off duty to keep from taking us on what would be a fairly short fare; a staff member who gave up her umbrella when she saw us on the corner outside the hotel looking at our map. Hers was much bigger than ours and it was raining pretty heavy. The concierge who gave us good information by e-mail before we arrived and continued with that service while at the hotel. He even called to make sure where our ship was docked when we were unsure. Everyone in the club lounge, what a wonderful place. The food is terrific there, the room is lovely, and the employees are so friendly. You feel right at home. Everytime we came into the lobby we were greeted and asked if we could be helped. In fact before we left we told the concierge..."This was the first time we have ever had a "perfect stay" in a hotel. I also forgot to mention it's a beautaiful hotel and the bed is very comfortable and everything is spotless in the hotel. By the way, it is the perfect location for sightseeing. The Princess of Thailand was staying there while we were there...and we understand why she picked this hotel; we were treated like royalty too! You can bet we will stay at the InterContinental when we return to Singapore. Hats off to the entire staff! (I had some images to show off this beautiful hotel but could not get them to upload) 05 February 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Hotel in Great Location My wife and I sayed at the IC for one night. We arrived late and were kindly upgraded to a wonderful suite...which was great. The staff at the front desk and main lobby was outstanding! The bellman who brought our luggage to the room had NO clue about the room... No knowledge of how to operate lights, TV, or any other equipment. He also had NO idea how we could get ice for the room! When we checked in we were told that breakfast was served until 10:30 AM......important because we checked in late. We went to breakfast at 9:30....and it was very good. Then at 10:05 our waitress told us it would be closing in 5 minutes. Clearly she wanted us to leave so she could set up for lunch...which we did not. The area remained open until 10:30.....shame on her! 05 February 2013
