Having stayed here for five nights booking a Deluxe room.
Upon arrival I received a Business room which is a one-category upgrade as Platinum Ambassador. I have seen others with the same status getting better rooms but I assume the hotel wasn't too happy providing this.
There was a taxi shortage and lines in the evening and breakfast was a disaster. I was asked for three days to sit in the lobby and on my last day there was a huge queue to just enter the breakfast. Had to wait over 10 minutes for a table.
I also had some extremely noisy neighbors, due to a connecting door in my room I could hear all the terrible baby screams and loud conversations. Had to complain to the front desk but couldn't help me as they were checking out soon. Front desk promised me Reward points as compensation but four months later I still haven't received any.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Uri Palti What can be improved?
Things that it would be easy to imrove:
1. Have the paper work ready BEFORE the guest arrives, in most cases, tired after a long flight - other hotels to that: When the guest arrives, EVERYTHING IS READY!
2. Please peovide free of charge laundry items - PRESSING isn't good for people on holidays, only, maybe, for business people
3. It would be nice to add fruits to the fruit platter rather than have one platter on arrival. It would also help to LEAVE THE KNIFE WITH WHAT'S LEFT OF THE FRUIT so it can be peeled...
4. I didn't receive a rubber duck in any of our stays while guests NOT in the Club did... If you can't spare a duck, well, have a chicken next time...
This last one is not to be taken too seriously - the other points - please see what you can do and I'll see if i get a reply. If I don't get a comment, it means no one reads it and maybe I shouldn't fill in these surveys...
Still love you all

From the moment I stepped in Intercontinental Hotel, I feel welcomed. A woman helped me carry my bag to the receptionist and the receptionist was very warm and helpful. The room was spacious, especially the bathroom, the bed was very comfy (One of the best bed in hotel I've ever been to). Location is top notch, connected to Bugis Junction and just accross from Bugis +, where you can find 24 hours McDonald if you ever feel hungry at night. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay and a first class experience.

Comfy beds, feather pillows, huge bathroom and gigantic towels. We had a shophouse club room that was light and spacious. The Club lounge was worth the cost of the room - free cocktails, breakfast, high tea and snacks. We had two kids with us and I think that it saved us a small fortune in food. Kids aren't allowed in the lounge at cocktail time but there is a space saved for families in the main lobby lounge with the exact same level of food and service (along with kid friendly food). The only downside was a very quiet renovation (no noise heard at all) going on that blocked the lift on level three. Not a problem if you are able to climb stairs but it would have been nice to know this at the time of booking. It would not have changed our mind about staying at the hotel - our stay was a delight.
