Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Heaven On our 7th visit to Taba Intercontinental,we arrived to a very quiet hotel but i have to say all the managers and staff spoiled us rotten,, we were treated like millionares for our 2 week stay, absolutely brilliant stay,,best yet, Would like to thank everyone at the hotel for really looking after us in very difficult times, Great service,fantastic food,and couldn't do enough for us,, A very big congratulations to all at Intercontinental in Taba and can't wait to see you next year, Alan Cox 17 October 2013

Without exception, staff from all departments in the hotel were unfailingly courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. I have had an all inclusive holiday in Taba Heights before but not at the Intercontinental. So my expectations were very high when I arrived but I am delighted to say that they were exceeded in every sense. The animation team, pool and waiting staff and the food are all worthy of special mention. They were superb. Congratulations to this hotel for having such a good team in place. Nothing was too much trouble. 10 October 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent stay at intercontiental taba We had a great honeymoon at this hotel at the end of sep beging of October.Staff were amazing,food was great,room was good,we would definetly go back next year...We were very lucky as hotel was very quiet due to resent trouble in Egypt,we could use all of the restaurant,we had no trouble with sun loungers as there were plenty to go around,staff in the breakfast room were great,and at the pool bar,Snorkling was good we saw loads of beautiful fish and there were lots of reports of turtles near by....Thank you Intercontiental for the best honeymoon anyone could ask for....hopefully see you all next year 06 October 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Go Go Go Go to the fabulous Intercontinental What can I say about the Intercontinental........ having been there a number of times, of course I can only tell everyone who has not been to Egypt of has thought of going but have been put off by the 'trouble' that Taba Heights, like most other places in Egypt are as safe as safe can be....... the Intercontinental is a fantastic hotel, very clean, food is very good and I would thoroughly recommend the Birds Nest which is a restaurant owned by the Intercontinental, outside the hotel, again I have been there many times and it is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The staff cant do enough for you and the rooms are clean as is the rest of the hotel. A rumour is going around that Thomson are withdrawing flights to Taba Height due to lack of bums on seats. This area is a place of beauty and Thomson, by not going there, will be causing no end of problems for the Resort and for those who want to go there..... as that is the only route, unless you go to Sharm and get a coach and spend 8 hours on that!!!!! Please please everyone get out there now while you can..... and anyone who has been to Taba Heights, please write to Thomson and ask them NOT to withdraw their flights to Taba. Intercontinental....... we love you 07 September 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by OH HAPPY DAY! I stayed at this hotel for 1 week from 8th July, just myself and my daughter and I have to say we had an absolutely fantastic time! We were given welcome drinks as soon as we arrived and were given a beautiful room, with an amazing sea view. The staff were absolutely wonderful throughout our stay, namely Farid a waiter in the main restaurant, and Mr. Abdullah, the manager who all worked over and beyond to cater for our needs. The hotel throughout was spotless, clean towels and linen changed every day. The staff made us feel like we were just at home, a very relaxing stay and hoping to go back there for Christmas. There was a great variety of food which all tasted lovely, however do take Imodium with you as an upset stomach is likely. The hotel has fantastic facilities such as a spa, and beauty salon where we had a pedicure which left my feet feeling amazingly soft! I would recommend to those that want a relaxing holiday, rather than one full of tourists and shops as there is only a shuttle bus to "uptown" where there are a few shops, restaurants and a pharmacy. I will definitely be returning! Stayed July 2013, travelled with family 21 July 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Some aspects good some need improvement We returned to the hotel as we met at Taba and wanted this to be the perfect honeymoon, between us this was our 5 th visit and found a definite change in the standard of customer service on the reception. Whilst the staff in the other areas of the hotel, ie pool and dining room were as exceptional as always the service from the reception and management was below standard.. On arrival our returners status was not recognised and we were shown to a room at the back of the hotel, when we went to reception we were then caught in a 3 way conversation between the first choice rep, the reception staff and the manage on duty! We feel the manager knowing our complaint should have spoken to us directly. In the end after an hour of discussion and gone midnight we upgraded to a junior suite at our cost. This was fine until checkout when the price we were quoted was the rather inflated and caused a problem when leaving the hotel. Whilst I would recommend this hotel to friends othe basis of it being their first visit and not knowing the difference in service, we won't be returning anytime soon. 21 July 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great room and view. My wife and I stayed in April for one week and really enjoyed are stay. The staff were very nice and always had a smile on there face. The room was big and clean and had a great view. The food was good and plenty.At the pool bar and beach you were well looked after as all over the Hotel. And us both golf players it was even better just walk across the road and you play on a great course, in all a great time had. Thank You All Mr&Mrs Copley. 13 May 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A lovely relaxing stay. I found it to be a very relaxing stay,great room,great service,great hotel. The food was varied and of a good standard.They cater for a wide verity of nationalities so don't expect it all your own way but always found something nice. The staff were friendly and helpful,if you want something don't be afraid to ask and complain later,if there's a problem tell them and they will help! The nightlife is laidback but we new that when we booked. If you like shopping then this is not the place for you, there's not a lot to spend your money on apart from the diving and excursions. The beach and pool area are kept clean by an army of staff through out the day and are always helpful. As for the beverage,its what you would expect of an all-inclusive holiday,I'd say its above average. Checkout is at twelve and we were leaving at 4 pm so we asked to keep the room until departure but we were told that this wasn't possible which was a pain but the spar facilities were made available to shower so not too bad. We would definitely book again and would recommend to anybody. 20 March 2013
