We were upgraded to a newly refurbished room on 24th floor with access to the club Lounge. The room was clean and modern but very average and the club lounge was just like el al's airport lounge, no imagination has been used, not like a luxury hotel at all. We had stayed at a boutique hotel in Neve Tzedek earlier in the week and it was far superior. The rooms were stunning, the restaurant, the rooftop bar and service were all far better. The only thing the David had in its favour was the pool which was very nice and with no shortage of sunbeds but that doesn't make up for the hotels overall mediocrity. Our room was not cleaned before lunch on any day, we went to breakfast once but it was such disorganised chaos that we chose to eat out In Neve Tzedek for the other days instead. The charges for wifi are extortionate and often unusable because the system couldn't cope with the number of guests using it. To show how ridiculous this was, we could log on to the next door Dan Panorama's wifi no problem from the David and it's basic service was free!! We would stay at the David again but only if the better options were all fully booked! It isn't terrible but it provides poor value for money compared to other options in Tel Aviv and the management should take a look at what the boutique hotels are doing before they waste any more money on bland, average, unimaginative and boring refurbishment works.

During my stay at this beautiful hotel I sadly suffered a heart attack.
The staff from the concierge to the on call doctor to the security were super quick to respond to my life threatening situation. I will in the future given a choice always stay at an intercontinental hotel, as for me it now means safety and professionalism.
Thank you intercontinental.

The hotel is nice and service generally very good. The only issue I had with my stay was nose outside the hotel coming from two sources. Airplanes descending for landing at Ben Gurion airport and a night club close to the hotel. The windows are apperantly not noise proof to completley block the street noise which to me is a big minus.

When our hotel turned out to be a bad experience, we moved to the Intercontinental. We are glad we did. Staff was super friendly. Rooms were extra large with awesome views. Food was excellent. Extra services like the Spa were perfect. Really just a perfect place to stay in Tel Aviv.

INTERCONTINENTAL TEL AVIV - DOES NOT HONOR PLATINUM MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS. I RECEIVED AN UPGRADED ROOM ON THE EXECUTIVE FLOOR AND TOLD - WITHOUT LOUNGE PRIVILEGE.
THIS EXPERIENCE ONLY HAPPENED TO ME AT THE INTERCONTINENTAL TEL AVIV - NEVER BEFORE HAVE I ENCOUNTERED AN UPGRADE WITHOUT BENEFITS.AT THE HOLIDAY INN CHAIN.

I really enjoyed my stay. All staff are friendly and welcoming. Very helpful. The pool is relaxing and the food at the pool is very good. The breakfast is also great. The spa is fantastic! I had a room with an incredible view of the ocean. I was also able to take advantage of a special they were running due to construction but I never saw nor heard any of it. It really is a great, comfortable place to stay. Great location. Worth the price. Enjoy!

I return to this hotel at least once a year and still find it luxury at reasonable prices (for Israel).
As Platinum Ambassador member we get a welcome gift, however NO lounge access.
Friendly staff and very good location.
Lots of restaurants around.
Weird Pool policy concerning guests.
Overall very pleasant stay.

Stayed a few times in this hotel but from check in till check out which took ages although on both occasions they have a separate desk for ambassador platininum and gold members on neither occasion was anybody there there was nothing in room on arrival as promised although to be fair they did upgrade my view asked three days running for a particular newspaper due but always got another one bottle of water wasn't relplenished each day as stated. So although it's still a wonderful hotel they could take a lot more care of their ihg reward customers

we can't say that the breakfast is the breakfast of a 5°

The room is clean, side views of Mediterranean refreshing. Breakfast is outstanding. Dinner options at local restaurant not so good for vegetarian choices.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by RobNYC82 Average hotel, at best
The David Intercontinental has a long way before becoming a world-class hotel. I travel a lot for work to many countries and while this is meant to be among the finest hotels in Israel, compared to international standards it is mediocre at best.
The service is weak; I had to wait 20 minutes to check in. The process at the front desk is incredibly complex; lots of photocopying, paper stapling, not an automated process.
At the pool, the check-in person said "take some towels if you want" and didn't bother to actually hand me one, she was too busy on her phone.
At breakfast the waitress offered more coffee, and disappeared and I got up and poured my own.
The last full day a mysterious hotel vacuum cleaner was left in front of my door for the entire day...just abandoned by a careless hotel staff member.
If you need a decent hotel that is well located, David Intercontinental is fine. But do not expect world class service.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by rick075 A Hotel with a Personality
I have stayed at the David Intercontinental before and have always been a most satisfied patron. I never really thought about why I like the accommodations, but it is most likely the friendly, knowledgeable staff, unbelievable breakfast buffet and centrality of the location. I can think of no better place to unwind after a long day of working or touring. The lounge is welcoming and the bar fully stocked. There are many good hotels in Tel Aviv, but this is my favorite.

I had a great experience at the InterContinental David Tel Aviv!!!! Jenny at the front desk was very accommodating, friendly and happy to help with my every need! My room was immaculate, view was beautiful. My stay there was perfect!
Perfect location as well - in Neve Tzedek, walking distance to all the trendy stores and restaurants, 2 blocks away from the Carmel Shuk, walking distance to Old Yaffo, across the street from the beach - I couldn't ask for more!

Very enjoyable stay over Pesach.
Downside, expected to pay for bottled water in the room, which was remedied after complaining.
Excessive charge for laundry which would dissuade using this facility.
Overall, a very nice time was ad and my family would consider staying at the hotel again on a future visit to Tel Aviv.

We stayed over passover when the hotel was full. My status as being in the ambassadir club was fully recognised. Staff were efficient friendly and helpful. Food was great.
The kids rooms kept my son aged 6 entertained.
Having stayed at a lot of hotels in Tel Aviv I would consider this the best full service hotel.
We look forward to returning next year.

Another wonderful trip to the David Inter-Continental where, as always, our every need was addressed.
We love the friendly, helpful team who make this hotel our first choice when visiting Tel Aviv.
We love the comfort and quiet of the rooms, the gym, the pool, the restaurants where the choices of food are limitless and gorgeous, the lounges, the lobby areas in which to relax and watch the world go by, ease of location, helpful team were we need anything else be it information from Concierge, taxi services booking etc...
A very enjoyable, relaxing and revitalising holiday, thank you David Inter-Continental Team.
