David Tel Aviv

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 188 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Second Time Around Not So Good We travel the world and stay in many fine hotels, some as humble as the IBIS, some as grand as the Savoy in London. The first time we stayed at the David was two years ago and we had a junior suite, that had the added advantage of access to the lounge on the 24th floor which provided a variety of snacks and drinks in agreeable surroundings. This time around we were put in a smaller suite which we had to pay for as an upgrade in order to use the lounge. We subsequently discovered that the original lounge was being refurbished and a temporary arrangement was provided for on the 3rd floor. It would have be courteous if the check in person had told us this. Now we don't know why, but many of the lounge staff provided an aggressive attitude towards us, demanding to see our room key card even before we had a chance to offer it, and subsequently clearing our table whilst we were in the middle of eating. It is not as if we were dressed in an unseemly manner, or treated the staff with a condescending attitude, but every time we were made to feel we had no right to be there. We are aware that the David employs many staff and their jobs can often be stressful, but there was a distant feeling that we were a hindrance rather a pleasure to have around. 05 April 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by rooms needed updating but overall a very nice stay I take offence at having to fill this out. I took the survey and I already said what I wanted to. 04 April 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A brief but wonderful stay. Can't think of anything that would have made my stay any better than it was, which was excellent! 31 March 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great service at a great location We greatly enjoyed our recent stay at the Intercontinental David in Tel Aviv. It is a top notch, world class hotel, with a great location, across the street from a beautiful beach. Also, great location--a short walk from the Neve Tzedek district---very similar to the soho district in NYC. Great shopping and super restaurants. Can't wait to come back again. 29 March 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff, noisy room Helpfull and friendly staff, room adjacent to the alley of nearby hotel too noisy. 29 March 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable hotel with great breakfast The hotel is very enjoyable. Although the price is high, the hotel provides its guest with great comfort and standards. 26 March 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wohlfühlhotel Wir haben uns in diesem Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt. 23 March 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice clean quiet safe hotel I enjoyed my 5 night stay at the David InterContinental Hotel. The staff is professional and friendly. My room was clean, nice, comfortable, and quiet. The wifi worked fine. The television carried both CNN and Fox News. 22 March 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good place for business trips Good place for business trips. Excellent business lounge to receive clients, have some privacy and get drinks served. Breakfast area has some room to improve (too much staff not client focused), related to all other areas of the hotel which were fine (reception, concierge, biz lounge, room etc.) 18 March 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Intercontinental quality but poor service Lvery nice and clean room. High security. Very nice breakfast. Very expensive food and bar. Very poor service time in bar and restaurant. Very poor quality of staff except Tanya in the bar. 09 March 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love the David Intercontinental Hotel I always stay at this hotel when I am in Tel Aviv. Nice staff, good food, comfortable room, excellent service. 28 February 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Could do better Business hotel but a little rough around the edges Despite booking a king room, I was placed in a twin accessible room. The beds lumpy, the curtains frayed and the heating not working. Also, the walls were paper thin so I had to suffer from next door's tv blasting 24/7. I think they may have checked out but left the tv on. Ate in the lounge, food alright but service slow. Used the gym, ok but opening hours limited. Used the spa.. so so Good location by the beach 28 February 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Intercontinental David Tel Aviv Great location. Hotel staff is solid, food is good, rooms are dated. Conference/meeting facilities need work! 28 February 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by good hotel, but restaurant service not timely the hotel was in a good location, food was good, however, service at the restaurants was slow! 28 February 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Perfecta ubicación y buen trato Perfecta ubicación y buen trato Gimnasio en muy buen estado Internet gratis con tarjeta Priority Club 24 February 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Experience at a 5 star Hotel 1. Room: Had to ask for room change. Neighbors were routy at 3;00 and smoked in a non-smoking room. we were told that the hotel cannot ask them not to smoke or to make noise at night 2. Ordered flowers from the concierge. Arrived on time but without water or a vase. Repeated attempts to get the above were unsuccessful and the flowers finally wilted. 3. Breakfast: very poor and inattentive service. Had to look for waiter for a cup of coffee. 4. Executive Lounge: Went in for a bottle of soda and chased by the attendant through the lobby to tell me that it was not allowed to remove from the lounge. Made me return it to her. 5. Parking attendant suggested that I retrieve my own car from the 8th floor of the garage because otherwise it will take a long time. 17 February 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect location for the Best of Tel Aviv - great Hotel! This is my regular hotel when on business in Yehud. The hotel is right in the centre of the beach area. As you walk out to the right are the beach bars (Lala Land a favourite) and the main Port area, and to the left is the Jaffa train station area and Old Jaffa, both areas WELL worth a visit. Just behind the hotel is the main city centre Rothschild Road and Neve Tzedek area where you can find and endless supply of bars and restaurants. About the hotel - there are approx 23 floors and it has a very high roofed area surrounding the first 5 or floors so it feels very spacious in the lobby and main restaurant and bar area. Many rooms have a sea view and even at the back you get great views out over the city. Although many of our party were Gold Members of Priority Club we were not given access to the Exec Lounge as our room rate was slightly discounted, which was disappointing. I also only received only 2,000 Priority Club points for my 5 night stay!!! A never before discovered gem was found when waiting at reception. In the shops area to the right of reception was a board advertising the Inca Bar, a cigar bar & lounge. This place is just about the best bar I have ever been to, and I don't even smoke! The staff are the most friendly and welcoming I have ever come across. I didn't catch everyone's names but all staff there were excellent. I must make special mention of Liron, Ayelet and especially Gil for really helping to liven up our Tel Aviv nights with friendly smiles and great conversation. For a large hotel, this place feels like its your living room (although as if several strangers have wondered in!) but should definitely be visited, even if just for a quick pre-dinner drink. This is a 5 Star Hotel that really feels like a 5 Star Hotel. Highly Recommended! PS You can now hire bikes from self-service pick up and drop off areas all over the city very cheaply. There is a bike bank right outside the hotel. This is great way to cover a lot of ground in a short time without needing a taxi! 07 February 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT When I stayed at the Inbal in Jerusalem, there was a "covered" pool available as well as a team room. They have an outdoor pool which they covered so one could swim. Also, there was a steam room available to guests. This was great especially for those who were suffering from upper respiratory problems or were just tired from a full day of activities. In addition, at the Inbal as well as the Raddison Blue Grafton in London, Wi Fi was free to all. I would suggest you consider this extra charge you [;ace on guests when it is virtually free. Our group had this included but I think it should be included for everyone. The breakfasts were superb!! 06 February 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by a must stay experience Not having stayed at the David Intercontinental for 3 years, we were delighted to note that the property was undergoning extensive renovations while not inconveniencing the clientele. In addition, the staff was more client oriented than it had been in the past. Their attention to detail was excellent. 05 February 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Super view of the Mediterranean sea Large hotel with convenient location - right on the beach, next to the bazaar Caramel and near Jaffa. Professional service. Large selection of food at breakfast time. 04 February 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable and caring staff Wonderful un general. Only long fire drill and the work on the upper levels did not let me rest well.... But that is a mater of chance and luck. 02 February 2014
