Business hotel but a little rough around the edges
Despite booking a king room, I was placed in a twin accessible room. The beds lumpy, the curtains frayed and the heating not working.
Also, the walls were paper thin so I had to suffer from next door's tv blasting 24/7. I think they may have checked out but left the tv on.
Ate in the lounge, food alright but service slow.
Used the gym, ok but opening hours limited.
Used the spa.. so so
Good location by the beach

1. Room: Had to ask for room change. Neighbors were routy at 3;00 and smoked in a non-smoking room.
we were told that the hotel cannot ask them not to smoke or to make noise at night
2. Ordered flowers from the concierge. Arrived on time but without water or a vase. Repeated attempts to get the above were unsuccessful and the flowers finally wilted.
3. Breakfast: very poor and inattentive service. Had to look for waiter for a cup of coffee.
4. Executive Lounge: Went in for a bottle of soda and chased by the attendant through the lobby to tell me that it was not allowed to remove from the lounge. Made me return it to her.
5. Parking attendant suggested that I retrieve my own car from the 8th floor of the garage because otherwise it will take a long time.

This is my regular hotel when on business in Yehud. The hotel is right in the centre of the beach area. As you walk out to the right are the beach bars (Lala Land a favourite) and the main Port area, and to the left is the Jaffa train station area and Old Jaffa, both areas WELL worth a visit.
Just behind the hotel is the main city centre Rothschild Road and Neve Tzedek area where you can find and endless supply of bars and restaurants.
About the hotel - there are approx 23 floors and it has a very high roofed area surrounding the first 5 or floors so it feels very spacious in the lobby and main restaurant and bar area. Many rooms have a sea view and even at the back you get great views out over the city.
Although many of our party were Gold Members of Priority Club we were not given access to the Exec Lounge as our room rate was slightly discounted, which was disappointing. I also only received only 2,000 Priority Club points for my 5 night stay!!!
A never before discovered gem was found when waiting at reception. In the shops area to the right of reception was a board advertising the Inca Bar, a cigar bar & lounge. This place is just about the best bar I have ever been to, and I don't even smoke! The staff are the most friendly and welcoming I have ever come across. I didn't catch everyone's names but all staff there were excellent. I must make special mention of Liron, Ayelet and especially Gil for really helping to liven up our Tel Aviv nights with friendly smiles and great conversation. For a large hotel, this place feels like its your living room (although as if several strangers have wondered in!) but should definitely be visited, even if just for a quick pre-dinner drink.
This is a 5 Star Hotel that really feels like a 5 Star Hotel. Highly Recommended!
PS You can now hire bikes from self-service pick up and drop off areas all over the city very cheaply. There is a bike bank right outside the hotel. This is great way to cover a lot of ground in a short time without needing a taxi!

When I stayed at the Inbal in Jerusalem, there was a "covered" pool available as well as a team room. They have an outdoor pool which they covered so one could swim. Also, there was a steam room available to guests. This was great especially for those who were suffering from upper respiratory problems or were just tired from a full day of activities.
In addition, at the Inbal as well as the Raddison Blue Grafton in London, Wi Fi was free to all.
I would suggest you consider this extra charge you [;ace on guests when it is virtually free. Our group had this included but I think it should be included for everyone.
The breakfasts were superb!!

Not having stayed at the David Intercontinental for 3 years, we were delighted to note that the property was undergoning extensive renovations while not inconveniencing the clientele.
In addition, the staff was more client oriented than it had been in the past. Their attention to detail was excellent.

This hotel superbly located in the White City of Tel Aviv gives you very close access to all the fun things for tourists in Tel Aviv. The hotel staff is beyond exceptionally courteous and helpful. The club lounge is magnificent with fine food and the most helpful staff of any hotel I have ever stayed in in the entire world. The rooms are extremely comfortable with fine amenities, very comfortable beds, and truly fine maid service. Being an Ambassador Club Member is was given a room upgrade and a daily newspaper and water and fruit. Could not find a single thing wrong with this hotel. A great place to stay while enjoying |Tel Aviv and I always look forward to returning to the hotel.

We stayed in the hotel for a leisure weekend, and decided to book because of the pleasant and efficient phone response we received compared with some other hotels we called. We booked an executive room which allowed access to the club lounge. the fact that the lounge was temporarily on the 3rd floor, due to renovations was a bit of a bother [especially for Sabbath observers]. The room was comfortable enough, but we have stayed in club rooms that were bigger and better appointed. The service was excellent and one of the best I have come across in Israel, friendly and expedient. Breakfast was good, but the Friday night buffet - although not cheap at $70 vat pp - was outstanding, as was the service especially from Helena.

We researched Tel Aviv hotels extensively before booking and also have stayed at other hotels several times. We selected the Intercontinental based on relative value for a very nice hotel, excellent location, and amenities/services. Overall, we were extremely satisfied and definitely would stay there again. The facilities were lovely, rooms were very nice, housekeeping was excellent.

Checked into my rooms last week only to find they were smoking rooms, altough the sign on the floor says hotel is non-smoking. Even after I had a problem with the airconditioning system and they had to move my room I mentioned that I did not want smoking they gave me another smoking room. None of the rooms had a smoke smell thank heavens. The hotel on the whole otherwise was nice and having executive rooms is a big plus especially with the executive lounge.

We had a very nice time at the David Intercontinental. Though under room renovation our stay was very good. The staff is friendly and top notch. Our server Raffael in the breakfast dining room was excellent as was the worker who greated us on our first night (Gilya).
The rooms are tired and the drapes, carpet and furniture cry out for updating.
Can't wait to be back to see the finished rooms-

We had to wait couple of times to get our luggage from the bell boy. We had to go down to pick it up at least 3 times.
We had a problem with the room we got and it took too long to be resolved.

I was not satisfied with the stay. It would have been ok if I was there on business but for holidays, this is not a good place. The Russian-speaking female staff at the reception are extremely rude and unfriendly. They should be replaced with the security guys who at the doors, they are much better trained. There is a terrible noise in the rooms from the water pipes. the hotel needs renovation and the rooms should be made bigger and soundproof. the food is very average too. the only plus is location.

We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a Mediterranean Suite on check-in - what a fabulous room! Great view of the Mediterranean sea -comfy bed; spacious bathroom and plenty of space for everything.
This is an excellent Intercontinental well located across the street from the beach and walking distance to Jaffa, Neve Tzedek
The staffs were extremely friendly and worked very efficiently to get everything done as soon as possible.
Exec lounge staff was EXCELLENT
This was an excellent experience , your hotel exceeded our expectations , the room were by far the best we stay in.

My stay with David Intercontinental was memorable to say the least. I enjoyed the service and the hospitality. I still think the hotel prices in the mini bar are extravagant for the average person..small coke 25IL ridicules but over all amenities and locality second to none.
