Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 321 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by first two nights in an Intercontinental I always use IHG braanded hotels and as a High yielding club member my loyalty shows that I am probably one of their best customers. I used this opportunity in Israel to use the Intercontinental due to lack of HI branded hotels and was a little disappointed that it was not as grand as I expected for the extra money paid. That said, this was an excellent hotel and there was little to fault. Staff were excellent, but service at breakfast was sadly lacking. Every morning I had to get up and go and catch waiting staff to ask for a coffee. Again with breakfast, I expected that I would be able to get at least some hot meats from breakfast, a burger, sausage, bacon, something for the western taste but instead it was very local Israeli cuisine, which I can get anywhere for a fraction of the price in an Israeli restaurant. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tel Aviv's finest Great location of the hotel, built in a way that most rooms have a fantastic view over the mediterranean sea. Nice breakfast, food is of high quality. Friendly staff contributing to a wonderful stay. We'll be back. May 14, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great view, great service, great room Little could be better than a stay on the Mediterranean in a hotel that offers views of the azure sea while being only blocks from historic streets, wonderful shopping and entertainment. If that's what you like in a vacation then the David Intercontinental is the place for you to stay in Tel Aviv. Perfectly located at the edge of the sea while being only a short walk from the historic streets of the oldest part of the city with their small shops and cafes, the David offers plenty to do even if you never left the hotel. Excellent food, a great spa, a well-equipped gym, bars, restaurants and more provide plenty to do should the sun not be shining (as rare as that mght be). An excellent spot for sunning, sight-seeing, meetings and more - perhaps the best that Tel Aviv has to offer. May 13, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Go for the north view The view towards the North is great and we really liked the room. The reception staff were great and very helpful. Unfortunately Friday night dinner was less than perfect. The food was Ok but not more and the service was almost non-existent. Igor was nice though! Food in the Atrium bar was amazing - try the salmon club sandwich -wow-possibly the best sandwich I ever had. Seriously !. But then again - by the time a waiter deigned to tear himself away from chatting with his mates and taking your order you are so hungry - anything will taste great. On balance - I will come again May 13, 2015
