The Staff at the concierge knew what we wanted as we asked her where we wanted to go and how we can get there. Bed was great to sleep in, however, the pillows were too soft to a point where I would wake up the first 3 nights and have a headache for no reason? Probably because they were too soft and a stiff pillow would be good. The in-room dining could improve in terms of quality, our burger which was ordered, seemed rather too dry and needed its moisture. Chips at hand were okay. In terms of our room, it was great and we loved our view, cleaniness and how big it was incomparison to the classic room we had for the first 2 nights. Overall, great experience, definitely will be back to ANA Intercontinental and highly recommend to anyone. 16 January 2015

It was close enough to be able to walk to a number of interesting places and close to a metro station for those longer jaunts. We were lucky to have a fabulous duty manager in Russell who worked well with the concierge desk to give us plenty of interesting things to see during the day, book restaurants for dinner and provide insights into Tokyo. The day we left to travel to Osaka, the hotel called forward and booked a clinic visit for one of our party who was sick. I am not sure if the experience would have been the same without he same staff involved but we had a great 5 nights there and will be back. 16 January 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great service and staff; single rooms a bit tiny The staff here are great, whether a fast check-in/check-out experience, a knowledgeable concierge, or the commanding presence of Philip as he helps guests throughout the main lobby. The location is also good - near the Tokyo Metro, near lots of companies and embassies in Akasaka, and not far from the action in Roppongi. If you're stuck in a single room, however, there's not a whole lot of space to maneuver around. While the furnishings are modern and well-kept, the room itself is super compact and smaller than a typical university dorm room. Given the price otherwise charged, I'd say the value proposition isn't quite there. 31 December 2014
