Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Locatiom Made a reservation with club access, during check-in instead of directing us to the club lounge for check-in, i had to stand at the check-in counter. Fellow ambassador kindly take note this hotel does not have paid movie, therefore channel selection are kind of limited. Train station is about 300m away from the hotel. I would recommend using airport limo bus if you are travelling to or from the airport as the escalator at the hotel to the train station does not operate regularly. Room was acceptable althought i got a non renovated suite, view is great. Club lounge has a great view of both the skyscraper and mount fuji. 14 August 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Loved it We had a great stay and it exceeded all our expectations. We opted for a king premier non smoking room so it was generously proportioned and beautifully fitted out. Cocktail and tapas night was well worth doing and the views from the bar, especially on a Saturday with the fireworks in the background was fabulous. We would be very happy to return. 14 August 2014

The service is very good and the shuttles/concierge service is good. But you pay for it! All of the food and services and expensive and you pay for the quality you receive. 10 August 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by World class service! A frequent traveler and have stayed at quite a lot of hotels in the last 20 years all over the world. Just arrived from USA, I walked in at night without a reservation on an emergency due to a problem with a different hotel booking. Manager was kind enough to immediately find a way to accommodate me and another colleague on the same business trip. My stay was accommodated at EVERY turn. Even though for different days, they were sold out, I was put on a waiting list and the staff followed up each time. I was very happy when the rest of my stay was confirmed. I was very comfortable. Restaurants were excellent especially Karin's. Staff is unbelievably professional, courteous, anticipated my needs, NICE. I think everyone went to a special school :-). I will stay here again and recommend to others. 30 July 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not bad but could be better Hotel was Ok but didn't live up to the consistent brand expectations I have come to expect when staying at an Intercontinental anywhere in the world. Service was good but even though they had been refurbished, the rooms still seemed a little tired and smaller than I have come to expect. Charging to go to the pool was unusual and left a bad taste in my mouth as a guest and the buffet area for lunch and breakfast was frankly not very good for the cost and in comparision to many other hotels in Asia and Tokyo. 27 July 2014

The team were a step above where they were 3 months prior and all of our team were made so welcome and just treated like VIP family, it was wonderful. Such a great hotel! 30 June 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ANA InterContinental Akasaka Tokyo Having stayed at a number of hotels in Tokyo, the one I have enjoyed the most and recommend to anyone visiting Tokyo is the ANA InterContinental. The hotel location and facilities are excellent. The staff are always friendly, professional and welcoming. The restaurants are excellent and really good value for the level of quality. 24 June 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff I always enjoy staying at the ANA Toyko. The hotel is in a central location. The lobby is beautiful. The staff is outstanding. And the buffet lunch is killer! The only detractor on this visit is the bathroom in my room. It was "tired". The bathroom was small, and the shower temperature was difficult to control because the fixture was old. I've stayed at this property before and the bathroom was much larger and updated. 20 June 2014

Very smart optimization of the space Sofa. Desk Very comfortable bed Large flat television set with basic selection of international channels JCB iPhone dock Coffee machine, kettle. Bathroom with bathtub and separate toilets/walk-in shower. Famous Toto toilets L'Occitane amenities View over the outdoor pool and Roppongi district Fast wifi. Very efficient heating system. Newspaper delivered daily Very quiet The Club Lounge is simply superb for staff, interior design and food offer Dining area Lounge area Excellent breakfast with large choice of products Afternoon tea with very good French Pastries Very good evening cold/warm dishes Superb view over Tokyo Pretty quiet Good: - Exceptional service from every member of staff (and more particularly Instant Service, Club Lounge, Concierge team) - I wanted to visit an architect house (63.02 degrees house) but I could not find its exact location (not listed on google). The assistant to Guest Relations manager made a call to the architecture agency, which declined to give some details as the property is a private one. Still, in the evening, I received an email from the assistant to the Guest Relations manager who had screened on Google Earth all the district... And finally found the house! Definitely very impressed and touched by was certainly one of my nicest experiences at any hotel. - Very convenient location, just opposite underground station on Ginza Line - Excellent club lounge - Superb menu dégustation at Pierre Gagnaire restaurant (what a pleasure to be received in French by the maitre d'hôtel and the chef) - Convenient airport limousine to/from NRT airport - Bikes can be rented and delivered at concierge desk for 1,000 ¥ a day (definitely the best way to discover the superb city of Tokyo) Bad: - Nothing, except the bad earthquake I experienced the first night Value for $ or IHG Rewards Club Points? Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Busy hotel Positioned next to Tameike-sanno subway station, this well-established hotel gives access to major city are, such as Roppongi, Ginza, Shinjuku, Shibuya, etc. We tried teppanyaki restaurants and the chef displayed a sense of humor while flipping matsusaka steak. Majority of staffs spoke understandable English, so staying guests should not get lost in communication. Though having bunch of amenities, rooms are a little out-dated and warrants some refurbishments. The room that I stayed look tiring. And asking a little free stuffs like five or six bottles of free water was accepted with some hesitations. This is not asking freebies to impose the cost burden on the hotel, but it is about understanding customer's need. My parent needs to drink plenty of water because of health conditions. It was totally different from Intercontinental Osaka, where personalized service was prominent. The concierge team has local insights but did not devote enough time to handle my requests in a timely manner. These need improvements. Besides that, we've had wonderful experience at the hotel. 06 May 2014
