Housekeeping staff is the best I've ever met. They didn't just make things clean and sparkling, they were kind and thoughtful well beyond the usual. The two concierges I dealt with were both exceptionally knowledgeable, helpful and responsive. The manager was equally responsive and thoughtful. So were desk staff, with one exception. The other exception to a near-perfect stay was inattentiveness of a couple of bell staff, who watched guests struggle through snow and ice without moving to help or open the door. It's the one area in need of improvement.
A hot tub would enhance the pool area.
The restaurant and bar serve superb dinner, lunch, and tapas, and servers are great. Breakfast is less consistent. I brought several friends and family members to both venues . They all remarked on the quality and some returned on their own for lunch and dinner. The one comment I heard from a few people is that they miss the piano bar. There is a grand piano sitting idle upstairs, and ample space in the bar - we hope you'll bring it back!

The rooms are very accommodating in regards to size, cleanliness and decor. The agent checking my fiancé and I in was extremely professional and quick. She explained everything we need to know very efficiently and brief. We enjoyed our breakfast on the balcony area by the pool - such an excellent space to enjoy the outdoors. The room server was very personable and polite! Kudos to Mr. Ju for extending a warm welcome. The trip was very much enjoyed! Thank you! We look forward to staying again and always recommend your property to others.

Had a pleasurable stay. Room was fine...good bed. Some noise from hallway....maybe because it was NYE? At check in, front desk offered a breakfast package which we agreed to....but, then there was no record of the agreed to package. However, they did honour it. I left eyeglasses behind which were found by housekeeping and I was able to get them the next day. Housekeeping was very helpful on this...many thanks to May and her team!!!

the hotel offers polite, quiet elegance from the staff, the reception area and restaurants. Our suite was very comfortable with nice appointments, roomy and quiet.

The Toronto Yorkville Intercontinental is a clean, comfortable hotel. I really like its swimming pool.
But when I'm away from home, I like to connect on the internet and I'm not happy paying extra for it.
So all my future stays are booked at hotels that don't charge me for internet.

My wife and I along with another couple were in Toronto for a long weekend get away. We had not stayed at the Inter Continental in Yorkville before, but it did not disappoint. The rooms were spacious and well appointed, and we were fortunate to have rooms facing Bloor Street with excellent views of the Royal Conservatory of Music and the ROM.
Our experiences of the hotel bar as well as in room dining were quite excellent as well.
Everything from our check in, to parking, to needing transport to the airport and luggage storage prior was without complaint.
I would highly recommend the hotel.

This was my second experience at this hotel. Both involved a failure to deliver on the requested room configuration. This time, I asked for two beds, but got a single king-sized bed and a roll-away. Not happy about this, especially at this price. The same thing happened 3 months earlier. Twice bitten, will not shy away from avoiding this hotel in the future.

Strongly recommend this hotel. It's in a great location, near the subway and Yorkville, so it is very convenient. My room was extremely comfortable and I lacked for nothing. I felt very relaxed and rested. The bed was so comfortable. The only draw back was that there was a fee for wifi. At this point, I don't see why hotels continue to charge for this, particularly if their clients are part of their rewards program. Other than that, I would definitely return here.

Hotels at much lower levels and pricing offer free wifi. Charging for wifi is a big negative and seems rather petty for an Intercontinental. It's something that should be included in room cost. Otherwise my rating would have been excellent across the board. I assume the lobby's lack of adequate seating was due to redecorating during our visit.

upon our arrival, our room wasnt quite ready. We stopped off at the conceirge who was very helpful in directing us towards a great place for dinner. As a bonus for our small disruption the front desk had truffles delivered to our room.
The staff was wonderful. Our room was clean. the beds were comfortable. The location was excellent. Yorkville has nice upscale shopping and cafes. There were two metro stops within 2 blocks of the hotel. There were also 2 starbucks within 2 blocks of the hotel. The conceirge were all very helpful with directions and knowing where to send us to see the sites in the city as it was our first visit.
I stay here again next time I am in Toronto.

My husband and I had a lovely one night stay at your hotel over the Thanksgiving weekend. We regret that our stay was for one night only. We looki forward to our next Toronto visit and a longer stay. The Intercontinental has a warmness that we appreciated along with the cleanliness, attention to detail and great services provided. Our lunch and breakfast in the hotel was delicious; the service impeccable.
