I stay at this hotel every time I travel to Toronto for business. The quality of stay is consistent every time. The rooms are spacious, extremely clean and modern. The location is close to Union Station and the subway system. There is a great restaurant right in the hotel. There is ample parking, with the option of self parking. This last visit, I was upgraded to an amazing suite on the 18th floor rooms 1836-1838- wow!

As always I am treated well and love the view from my room. room was well put together and small office area in the room was well used and eaasy to use.

We very much enjoyed our recent stay at this hotel. The view from our room was amazing. The room layout was very comfortable. The staff were happy to help with whatever we wanted. We're planning on staying again this spring.

Considering the price per night was quite high, I was expecting a room that did not include 80's style detailing (i.e. yellowing light switches, old paneling on the ceiling and walls, and 80's style, yellowing telephone). The TV cable was falling out from the drywall and there was a gaping hole in the desk drawer. Overall, a lack of attention to detail made the room very disappointing.
On the other hand, the view from the 16th floor was outstanding and the bed very comfortable.

I was having trouble filling this review out on my IPhone. A few other times I got a pop up message about maintenance issues. Myself and a friend were on a four day vacation in Toronto, Canada . We flew out the day after Xmas. Once our travels were out of the way we arrived at the Intercontinental hotel. I must say it is a nice property. The check in process was efficient and the front desk rep was warm and friendly. We got to our room which was perfect, no problems at all. It would've been more easy going if we were informed of the convention going on, in conjunction, with our hotel stay. The concierge were immensely helpful. The first night around, 2am, there were a group of individuals making so much noise in the hallway. It woke me up, and I called down to the front desk, they informed me it would be taken care of. I fell back asleep after I was rest assured by them it would be handled, however, they continued to make noise. I had an early day the next morning and I let it go. However, every night after that, around the same time, all that noise and commotion was made in the hallway, outside of our door. I called the front
desk every night thereafter. The noise continued, I want to say it should of been stopped. I was hoping it was going to be stopped, but it continued on. More could of been done on the hotels part. I am not a complainer, however, for the price I paid for the duration of my stay, I believe I should be comfortable with quietness while I sleep!!! When I went to check out, there was some confusion with the price I paid versus what I was quoted. The guest services manager did clarify it, however, she was very kurt. She really comes off so sure of herself, in a way it comes off cocky/borderline rude. I told her about the noise and all she did was ask if I called the front desk. I told her I did and that was all. I didn't ask for anything free, I didn't question her authority, I didn't get loud or obnoxious, I wished her empathy would of been better. I felt I was looked at as another checkout. In hospitality, you always have to remember the guest staying at your property should be at ease, comfortable, and relaxed. Courtesy cost nothing!

We stayed at your hotel while en route to and return from a funeral for a family member in Ottawa. The treatment we received eased a very difficult time.
