Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Beautiful Hotel in great location Clean spacious rooms, comfortable clean beds, big bathroom. Offered decent conference rates for our group. Have I the chance to stay here again, I would book the Club floor to include breakfast (had a chance to go upstairs and peak at the buffet - definitely worth the extra few dollars it costs). Would highly recommend this property. 28 October 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Staff Suggestions Check-in is always wonderful. Ambassador status has its benefits. There was one moment that sticks out in this visit. I planned to order from the menu at breakfast on my final day, but the waiter kindly noted it would be a better value for me to get the buffet. It was indeed. A better value and experience. The kitchen staff went the extra mile to cook my eggs in olive oil. This extra level of service was greatly appreciated, despite the restaurant being quite busy. Thank you. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Didn't get that quiet room When I booked my room on line, I asked for a quiet room. Knowing that I should repeat this upon check-in, I did, and was assured that room 316 was quiet. Unfortunately, we needed to use the sound machine we (fortunately) brought to block out the noise. First, the flags outside our room hit the flag poles all night on windy nights. Second, it sounds like there are carts running alongside or under this room, and they travel all night. My partner told me it was the worse stay he's ever had in a hotel room. Second, the lights from the hallway shine through the bulkhead above the door. Upon investigation, it seems that the vent above the outside of the door lets the hallway light shine through a vent on the inside of the door. We had to block that with a towel. Not great for the standard that Intercontinental is striving for, and seemed to achieve in all other areas. The staff is very friendly throughout the hotel, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and they have lots of nice extra touches, so it's too bad. Why not take a minute to change the room if you have any clue it might not be the best for someone who definitely needs a quiet room/asks for it? If it wasn't for the noise, it would have been one of best stays in a hotel! 27 October 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient location and great service Had a lovely stay for business, the location is very convenient, located near a bunch of restaurants and a half block from the Porter shuttle stop if you fly into Billy Bishop. Had a great room with a nice view of the CN tower and lake. The staff was very helpful even though I arrived a bit later than I expected. My new first choice for staying in Toronto! 24 October 2014

The pool area and lobby are especially nice, and the breakfast buffet at Azure is always a treat. Our newly remodeled room on the 22nd floor was spectacular! 23 October 2014
