Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 751 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Staff Service and Great Beds to Sleep In The only thing we weren't fond of were the towels and robes. They were very rough, but other than that, we were very impressed with the room and staff. 14 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A Lovely experience We were in Toronto to go to a show. We searched for hotels close to the district, and found the InterContinental. For the area, the price was quite reasonable. We had stayed there once before many years ago, and enjoyed the hotel, so we decided to stay there again. We added the Breakfast option for $30. This gave us the buffet for two, and it was very good. Normally the buffet is $28 per person, but if you add it to the room it is only $30 for up to two people. Well worth the price if you are a couple. The room was clean, well appointed and we had a great view. The location was excellent for the theater we were attending, and with a lot of restaurants just two blocks up, the dining options were superb. There is a great mens wear store in the main lobby. This is a privately owned store, but it has some excellent offerings, and is a nice treat. The parking was expensive, but for downtown Toronto, it was as expected. We used the self park for $18 per day, but a day changes at some point over night, so we ended up paying $28 for parking from 4PM Sunday to 10PM Monday. The Valet parking would have been $45 per night, and if we wanted in and out privileges, that would have been a better option. We booked directly with the Hotel, and got as good a rate as we would have booking through any other site. We loved our stay, and will return again. 13 November 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Overcharged During my stay, I had the impression that everyone from front desk to restaurant to individual staff, was trying to gain money from me. I was overcharged twice and had to asked for the bills to be adjusted. I felt that the staff was willing to work for a tip but was not generous with their time and smiles. 13 November 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Staff is outstanding The staff made our trip a 4 star. Stephanie the concierge went above and beyond. She upgraded our room to a suite and sent a treat to our room for my husband's birthday. All of the staff we ran across on our weekend were so nice and accommodating. We had a room on a high floor overlooking the water. I read a lot of complaints about the beds but found it to be very comfortable. The issue we had was with the noise all night, we were not next to the elevators but heard a banging sound all night both nights. We should have asked to be moved but were all settled in. The location is central, staff is excellent. 13 November 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Solid hotel stay I stayed here for a couple of nights in November for business. Staff was very friendly and expedient, nice hotel overall and great location. Rooms could use a bit of an update and I could hear the elevators from my room faintly (which wasn't an issue for me as I sleep without any problems) but could be an annoyance to others. 13 November 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great location Wonderful views of the CN Tower from the room. Location is ideal. Close to Union Station. 13 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful hotel Our stay was wonderful. Great hotel, staff, and food. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends. Thank you. 12 November 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly and Professional Staff ...plus a great view! I stayed at this property during travel for business but the staff was friendly and the room was comfortable and made my trip more enjoyable. If ever in Toronto again for business I will stay here. 12 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by top notch service and great location The club level was awesome, great views, and everything was in walking distance. 12 November 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A downtown retreat Attending a conference in the Metro Convention Centre makes this hotel a logical choice. No need to go outside, a hallway connects the hotel with the convention centre, and the hotel also offers conference rates. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Having a Keurig machine in the room is also a real bonus. I do object, however, to the fee charged for internet access, whether that is in-room or in the business centre. In my experience, most hotels (Canada and Europe) offer free internet access. 12 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay in Toronto, Canada I stayed at the InterContinental Centre in Toronto, Canada. In public area space was neat and clean. The doormen were friendly. The Concierge, Ms. Sutherland was extremely helpful. When I encountered a very rude and disrespectful front-desk clerk, she remedied the situation. The guest room was neat and clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was in good condition. The room had a fresh and update appearance. The wireless Internet speed was fast. You have to pay for the wireless connection. The Azure Restaurant offers a great breakfast buffet. The location of the hotel was down the street from the CN Tower and next to the Convention Center. It is also in walking distance to the metro train station and the Path and lots of shops and restaurants. 11 November 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bad experience Bad experience. The front desk person at the bloor street location was not helpful and could have handled the situation differently. The whole experience made me look bad in front of my guest. 11 November 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by good pool I liked the change to salt water, vs chlorine as well as the temperature of the water. There wasn't the after-burn of the eyes or irritation of the skin. I would recommend this facility's pool to someone who was interested in staying in the downtown Toronto area. 11 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Another Great Stay! I travel to Toronto about twice a month on business and always stay at the Intercontinential Downtown Toronto. If you wish a consistently comfortable, clean, quiet quality stay at a hotel. This is the property to stay at. This property is close to Union Station and has plenty of parking. The staff is always courteous and professional. 10 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Spectacular Location Our stay was exceptional right from check in to the newly renovated room and room service. It makes it really easy to decide where we will stay on our return to TO. 10 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Outstanding stay Thank you for such a great stay. The room and amenities were outstanding. Loved the bed. 09 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean and Excellent Location Staff are very helpful, good bars close by, nice views of the lake. Definitely my go to hotel when in downtown Toronto. 08 November 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location/Room Reasonably price, great downtown location and very comfy, warm rooms. Poll was very relaxing 06 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Feels like home now I have been staying at the Intercontinental for several years now. It's such a great experience that it almost feels like home and I am sad to leave! 06 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Gem in Toronto This was my first stay at the IC and I will go back. The location is perfect, in the shadow of the CN Tower and connected to the Convention Center. The bus stop for the Downtown airport shuttle is a block away and Union train station and subway are 2 blocks down. All staff was helpful and friendly. Hotel is in wonderful condition. I especially enjoyed the beautiful inside pool and health club. 06 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed and great service. Excellent courteous staff. Clean comfortable room. Was upgraded to a club room-nice! 06 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great experience We only spent one night at the hotel, but, it was above our expectations for room and service. We were upgraded to a suite , and enjoyed a late checkout. The hotel was well positioned, for our needs in the entertainment area, and enabled us to get to our theatre/restaurant/aquarium sites very easily and quickly, by foot!! Well done IC 05 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellence A wonderful experience staying at this hotel, location is awesome 04 November 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great location and very helpful staff I really appreciate the excellent location. This hotel is convenient from the train station and the island airport and with the skywalk it allows you to stay dry in bad weather. The beds are not as comfortable as other 4 star hotel beds and they would do well to provide a duvet with the changing weather. What really needs upgrading is the heat exchanger which made quite a loud noise when the thermostat cut the heater off Overall a good hotel with good value for money Helly1 03 November 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great localtion and lovely place We stayed for two nights and had a very good experience. Staff were really good and very quick to help. The hotel is in a great spot. We arrived by train into Union Station and it is only a two or three minute walk. Spacious comfortable rooms. 02 November 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by VIP treatment! We enjoyed our stay at the Intercontinental Hotel. The staff was friendly and made youe feel like a VIP. The room was immaculate. The pillows were so soft you could sleep on them all day. We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family. 29 October 2014
