Sleep quality only "fair" due to very dry and stuffy/stale air quality; no ventilation via windows as is often the case in highrise hotels but the ventilation system at this hotel particularly ineffective for getting in fresh and humidified air. 23 February 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The check-in set the stage for a great stay I often stay at this property, but when I checked in on February 18, there was a new check in desk for Ambassadors and the loveliest staff member. Eugene was pleasant, polite and personable. He called me by name, welcomed me back, asked about my day and made sure I was comfortable with the hotel amenities and my room. One of the best check in experiences to date! My newly renovated room was clean and well-appointed, quiet and comfortable. Great treats awaited me as an Ambassador member. A note to those who will park while visiting, if you intend to use your car during your stay, the Valet parking may be the best option as self-parking has no in and out privileges. 23 February 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by The little things... The room and view were beautiful but I noticed the little things that made a huge difference in terms of showing value to your guests. I strongly dislike paper cups for my coffee, I find it gross to drink out of a paper cup while I am enjoying the comfort of a beautiful room. Further, if you are providing complimentary premium coffee why wouldn't you provide complimentary water? I don't mind paying for things that are truly an upgrade but if the Holiday Inn provides mugs and complimentary water so should a high end establishment like yours. One bottle of water was $6, which is outrageous. 22 February 2015

It is an excellent hotel that offers spacious, clean, comfortable rooms and facitilites, The quality is consistent. Each time you stay the hotel, you are given the opportunity to fill out an arrival and departure survey. It is my habit to fill these out. On my last stay, as usual I filled out the arrival survey. This survey asks about your check-in experience and the quality of your room. I had an excellent check in experience and had also renewed my Ambassador Club membership at the same time. I also shared an observation in the section of the survey asking about the condition of your room. It had shared an observation- not a complaint. But, within minutes of completing the survey and pressing the send button, I got a call from the front desk inquirying about my comment and offering a solution! I was really surprized and delighted to learn that first of all they read my survey and second of all, they were very interested in ensuring that my experience be flawless. I was taken aback at how seriously they take the comments you make on the survey. I also found that they work together as a team to do this. From a business point of view this is an amazing and responsive approach!! There is a departure survey too and there is one question I have always had trouble with and that is was your stay memorable. My stays have always been memorable in that I always remember my nice quiet lovely stays at the hotel. But this time, has stuck out for me, as the staff at the hotel went out of their way to demonstrate that they care about their customers. Truly memorable. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful hotel, room and staff excellent It was our first time staying at this hotel and we loved it. From the staff to the service was A-1. Our furniture in our room was dusty but the rest of the stay terrific. We couldn't have been happier and will definitely stay here again the next time we are downtown Toronto. 20 February 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location and comfort Stayed for 4 nights over Valentines w/e. Upgraded to Club Suite, brilliant! Bed was so comfortable Ate in Azure restaurant. A small niggle was that the menu was a bit restricted, however the food was delicious. Service was very good. Bar staff very friendly and knowledgeable about drinks. Special mention for the room maid --- always a smile and a friendly word. Will definatley return . Thank you for a memorable stay in Toronto 20 February 2015
