Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 213 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay in Vienna Our corner room was excellent. Bed is outstanding. Only complaint is the lack of an ice bucket in the room. I like to get my own ice instead of calling room service. The lobby bar did give us glasses of ice when needed, but it is not the same. Location super for sight seeing and in/out of airport. All of staff outstanding. Concierge got us dinner reservations and directions to sites. All in all fabulous!!! 19 October 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bad Hotel Not like the rest of Intercontinental hotels. Bad services and bad location 19 October 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great stay in Vienna The hotel was very nice and centrally located i Vienna. The lobby was a little crowded at times with inconsiderte tourists. The breakfast was great and the room, small, but lovely. 18 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A luxury hotel in a good location A luxury hotel in every sense - food, service and grand interior style (which might surprise the first time visitor after seeing the rather bland exterior). I could not fault the wonderful freindly service we received. We were treated like royalty throughout our stay. The location is good too. In a park-side setting on the edge of the main city centre (on the 'Ring'), and with all transport services either adjacent (U-bahn) or very close. You can get anywhere in the city within a few minutes tram / bus ride. Or you can walk through the StadtPark to the very centre in 5-10 mins. The food was good too - from Club Lounge snacks to main restaurant, all prepared with care and imagination. 17 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A Most Memorable Stay We and the friends we brought on this trip to Vienna, the Bruners and the Tierneys, thought the hotel stay was exceptional save one incident of poor service at the hotel bar for lunch. We stayed at the InterContinental in Paris last year but this IHG hotel bests the one in Paris by an exceptional distance of superior performance. Well done and thank you for your exceptional, thoughtful, and hard-working people whose mind is on service. 13 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great service Simply the best hotel staff of anyplace I have stayed in the world. The hotel is beautiful and spot less!! 12 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel General Appearance and Bathroom The outside of the hotel is awful; not what I am accustomed to at InterContinental Hotels. But inside was nicer. The bathroom was unreasonably small. In fact, I stopped staying at my favourite InterContinental Hotel in Toronto because the bathroom was too small. But the Vienna location is worse. One cannot ACCESS the toilet without opening and closing the bathroom door. It is truly an absurd design. 12 October 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by a very lovely experience I booked a nonrefundable rate for 8 days and was not optimistic about out choice. However, when we arrived Bernhardt at the front desk announced that all my requests (made by e-mail to the head conciierge Mr. Plank) had been met, I had requested a non-smoking,room, king-size bed, high floor and view of the Stadtpark. We had a spectacular view of the park which made up for the small bathroom and some wear and tear in the room, I was also pleased to discover that internet service was available free of charge in the business office.. The staff were all very pleasant and we really felt at home. The only suggestion I have is that the carpets in the rooms be cleaned daily. Thank you for a very pleasant stay in Vienna. 09 October 2014
