Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by My first dissapointement When i travel I usualy try to stay in an Interconti Hotel as I like the style and the comfort this particular hotel chain gives to there customers. In addition the staff is usualy more expierienced and friendly then in other hotels. The Vienna Intercon is located at the edge of the city center at the "Stadtpark" and has a underground direct at the oposite of the front entrance. So very good to explore the city of Vienna. As all Intercons it also provides an execlent Airport Pickup Service which I can recommend which is also not more expensive then a taxi. Regarding the room I have to say that it was my first dissapointment. In Europe of course the rooms are a bit smaler but the bathroom was very tiny. In my point of view if you see how much a room is costing it is no value for the money. Next point is the internet. As IHG member you get that for free and in case you book it they cancel it from the bill afterwards (I did not complain as I did not want to bother). Another thing I feelt disapointed is the restaurant. According to the concierge both restaurants (the mediternaeo and the bar cafe) have the same food and for Vienna no Vienna Schnitzel on the menu.....nevertheless taste of the other food was good. Breakfast was another disappointment as during my stay they had various Chinese visitor groups so the breakfast was totaly packed and crowed to even find a space to sit down. Staff was friendly even as they had a lot to do cleaning all the mess up. Hoever regarding the price you have to pay for the breakfast and the rating of the hotel it was nothing special...even the juice was not fresh just some instand or bought stuff. In the end the Interconti in Vienna was my first Interconti which I was dissapointed with and would think twice booking it again. 23 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by a moment to cherish My family came with me to Venice, and we had a wonderful time. The staff were great, the service was non obtrusive, and everything I've come to expect from the IC. When I arrive at the Intercontinental, I always breath a sigh of relief, because ,,, I'm home, AGAIN! 23 October 2014
