Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Thanks I would like to thank all the staff at the hotel who made my stay enjoyable to the max, especially Mr Renee at the Bar. 28 January 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Lovely stay in a beautiful city We recently stayed at Intercontinental Vienna for a short city break, much needed after a hectic Christmas at work. Lovely hotel in a great location. Staff very attentive and friendly. Concierge was not as helpful as we would have expected. We wanted to book a day at the Therme Wein Spa, and asked for some help to do this, Concierge advised us that we did not need to book and could just turn up at the spa, which we did, however we wanted to book a spa treatment and was unable to do this on the day as we needed to have pre booked it. He offered no directions or additional information about the spa (etiquette etc) we can only compare this experience to the concierge at a hotel in Amsterdam where we stayed in Dec who not only booked the Spa and all treatments, but explained all about the Spa etiquette and advised what we needed to take (towels robes etc). Therefore, we went to Therme Wein a little unprepared. The only negative about the room was that the bathroom was a little small. On day one of our stay, we went out into the city for a day of sight seeing and returned to the hotel at around 4pm. Housekeeping had not been to service the room so we decided to go down to have a sauna to allow extra time but they had still not been on our return. We wanted to relax in our room before going out again in the evening so cancelled service and ended up with just a towel change. We often stay at Intercontinental Hotels and are IHG club members, this is just a few niggles about an otherwise lovely hotel. 26 January 2015
